The fact that this book starts off with a reassuring "oh there's nothing bad or scary about having a baby over 35! Everything you've heard is exaggerated..." then goes on to scare the shit out of you- should tell you a lot about the book. There were sections I couldn't even read, just skimmed out of shock and fear of what they said! I think perhaps reading too much on the topic of all the things "that could go wrong" could be a bad idea, so I'm skimming those. Like I need any more anxiety on the topic! But this amounted to just a small section of the book and there were some good things in here and I did make a few notes of websites and things to do/look up. So not a waste of time at all.

A decent and informative book that is also engaging and well-organized. I have read so many pregnancy books at this point that I am continuing for fun, but I did learn of some new resources with this read.

Did not love this book. There was a lot of things I knew but there were a lot of stressful and paranoid information in the book. The best part was postpartum.

It’s a book of risks. Wasn’t as pregnancy focused as I expected it to be. Few good facts here and there.
