Fun but a bit preachy. Would have enjoyed a lesson on recycling, how it works, and how to do it instead.

Not bad for a spongebob book!
Spongebob sets off collection junk with ideas to convert them into treasures. He becomes overwhelmed and exhausted with the amount he's collected and the sorting time required until a friend steps in twice, and turns SpongeBob's idea into a heroic town act.
Great if you're learning/teaching about recycling. Also important lessons in not trying to do everything yourself and the importance of calling in good help.

A typical Spongebob tale that any Spongebob lover will enjoy. Parents will appreciate the lesson on recycling and what it means to be green. I'm getting really tired of Spongebob, but if I have to read him, at least it has some value. A solid level 2 book.
