Spring Break is on the horizon, and if the PSU crew thought last year was crazy, they have no idea what’s in store for them this time.
Adam and Cassie face a whole new set of challenges that will define their relationship once and for all. Ashlei makes an enemy at her internship that could cost her everything. Bear tries online dating while Jess looks for a distraction from her heartbreak.
Erin finally finds someone she wants to fall into. The problem? Skyler had her tongue down his throat before Erin even knew he was on campus.
More secrets. More lies. One explosive Spring Break that will change everything. Buckle up for another semester at Palm South University.
Kandi Steiner is a USA Today and #1 Amazon Bestselling Author living in Tennessee. Best known for writing “emotional rollercoaster” stories, she loves bringing flawed characters to life and writing about real, raw romance — in all its forms. No two Kandi Steiner books are the same, and if you’re a lover of angsty, emotional, and inspirational reads, she’s your gal.
An alumna of the University of Central Florida, Kandi graduated with a double major in Creative Writing and Advertising/PR with a minor in Women’s Studies. Her love for writing started at the ripe age of 10, and in 6th grade, she wrote and edited her own newspaper and distributed to her classmates. Eventually, the principal caught on and the newspaper was quickly halted, though Kandi tried fighting for her “freedom of press.”
She took particular interest in writing romance after college, as she has always been a hopeless romantic and found herself bursting at the seams with love stories she was eager to tell.
When Kandi isn’t writing, you can find her reading books of all kinds, planning her next adventure, or pole dancing (yes, you read that right). She enjoys live music, traveling, hiking, yoga, spending quality time with her family (fur babies included) and soaking up the sweetness of life.
I devoured this entire series last year, so it feels like I have been waiting forever for this newest installment! It's so easy to binge this whole series, so I couldn't wait to devour season four as soon as it came out and see what was going on with my favorite cast of characters!
With Spring semester starting, the PSU gang is ready for more relationship drama and the ultimate test of friendships that were supposed to be indestructible.
Right before this came out, I read PSU 3 and Black Number Four. When I started Legacy, I found out that this book follows the exact storyline to Black Number Four, which is solely focused on Skyler and Kip's perspectives. That being said, I found myself not as excited as I got more into this book because I already knew the whole storyline. We do get to see a lot of the other characters that we didn't get in the other book, but I think we got too much Skyler and not enough of a unique plot-line for the other characters I loved, like Bear or Erin. Everyone's stories except a few seemed to largely revolve around the main story of Black Number Four (revolving around Skyler's drama), making it not as interesting to read.
Don't get me wrong, I still loved seeing my favorite characters and watching how they were doing through all of the drama that is always present in their lives. I really loved how not one character was perfect or had it all figured out. Just like the previous three books, this book thrived on drama and put every single character through the test.
Overall, I was so happy to be back home in PSU with Legacy. I got to see my favorite characters and, while some characters still annoyed me, seeing their perspective really made me understand them. If you want a drama-filled college series that is the perfect thing to binge, you HAVE to pick up the PSU series!
Legacy, book 4 in the Palm South University series, is now available! This is your time to binge read and get caught up. The ENTIRE SERIES is included with your Kindle Unlimited subscription. Get your summer binge read on!

-------------------------------------
Written like your favorite drama television show, the Palm South University series has been called "a mix of Greek meets Gossip Girl with a dash of Friends." Follow seven college students as they maneuver unrequited love, teacher/student romance, the tangles of “no strings” relationships, love triangles and more. Each “season” has six “episodes,” and just like when your favorite show hits Netflix, you can read just one episode at a time or binge the entire thing. With the perfect mix of angst, emotional romance, and romantic comedy, the Palm South University series is your next guilty addiction.
Drama. Lies. Sex.
Welcome to Palm South University.
The weather isn’t the only thing heating up in South Florida. At a school where fraternities and sororities don’t exactly play by the rules, relationships are bound to be tested. Parties and sex are definitely key ingredients in the Palm South recipe, but what happens when family issues, secret lives, and unrequited love get tossed in the mix?
Follow Cassie, Bear, Jess, Skyler, Erin, Ashlei, and Adam as they tackle college at a small, private beach town university. Written in television drama form, each episode of this serial will pull you deeper and deeper into the world of PSU.
Where the sun is hot and the clothes are scarce, anything can happen.
This series were my first ever books by Kandi Steiner and I've heard a lot of amazing things about her specially her angsty goodness (I'll get to those soon), but I had no idea what I was in for with this series. I've binged the series for the past couple of days in order to read Legacy, but when I first started reading I found out about another book that is part of the series that I didn't know existed, so I read both books at the same time just like Kandi suggested and oh man it was double the frustration.
I admit when I started the first book I was expecting something more but as I got to know all the characters and seeing them going through so much, making mistakes, growing as individuals... basically with each book I fell a little more for this crazy yet amazing family.
Legacy was, I believe, the best one yet! There was just so much going on, and it definitely was the one who messed with my emotions the most. I was so frustrated and scared and pissed. It was a whole jumble of emotions. Every single character has been through so much... watching some fall apart, change for better and worse, watch some of them strive and be boss a** bit****, it was like watching my kids grow up(*whispers* I don't have any lol but you get what I'm saying). I was both proud and angry at their attitudes.
I would like to vent about all the things I felt about each character but ain't nobody wanting spoilers. I'll just say that it was a complete roller-coaster and everything definitely came full circle. So many new relationships, so many emotions. Friendships were tested. Old relationships fell apart, new ones were born and thrived. Anything you can think of, it happened in this book. It was crazy, crazy frustrating but crazy good. I was mess reading these books but I did not for one second want to put the book down, I just wanted to know what was gonna happen next. You'll know when things are about to implode. But I honestly just wanted everyone to be honest and things to be out in the open. All the secrets and games needed to stop, and I'm glad that in the end everyone did what was right after all the things they put each other through.
I cannot wait to see what's in store for the Kappa Kappa Beta girls and their boys. I am so beyond happy that my ultimate ship is sailing. Adam has been my favorite since the first book, even though he was dumb in book 1 and 2. But he has such a good heart and he was the best in this book, even when his actions were questionable. And Cassie she too is my favorite and I am so glad to see her grow and be confident after what she's been through. It was glorious. They had their ups and downs no doubt but their 'ending' was PERFECT! I am so excited to see Erin work through all that she has been through. The girl was insane in this book but I want her to find happiness, she deserves it. And Jess, I miss Jarrett too but he was an a**hole so I hope my girl really gets back on her feet and gives another sexy man a chance.
If you love college romances then this is definitely one you do not want to skip. Drama, Sex, Parties, Friendships for life... all that and more! These characters will have you on your toes wanting to know what they will do next.
Palm South University is a guilty pleasure you do not want to miss out on! You get a lot of different tropes and definitely all the emotions. This bunch will having you laughing and crying and feeling everything. Reading this series was like watching the greatest reality tv show of the typical American college life! I couldn't get enough and I hope I get so much more! And if these books ever come to life on screen you better believe I want miss a second of it.

PSU is back for a fourth season!!! YESSSSS!!! If you have not read any of the PSU books yet, don't read this one - as they all read in order. PSU is like a guilty pleasure series that you watch on Netflix (for today's kids) or back when I was a kid, shows that I recorded like Pretty Little Liar and 90210.
Legacy starts off the fourth season of PSU, but it also lines up with Steiner's book, Black Number Four. For those like me who did not read Black Number Four, Kandi gives us a tutorial on when to read certain part of Black Number Four to get a full experience of all that goes on and how those two stories ties together. I read Legacy both ways - first without reading Black Number simultaneously and then reading it along with Legacy. I have to say that I really enjoyed Legacy a bit more (if possible) while reading BNF. I will be re-reading BNF alone to review it properly. But onto Legacy...
This semester everyone is back from winter back and Spring Semester is in full swing with new pledges and even a transfer. There is definitely no lack of drama, sex and high stakes in this season.
Without summarizing everything in quick bits like I have before - I will just explain how I feel on a few characters and their actions semester at PSU
Ashlei is back to herself and taking control of her situation - I love her this semester. She is finally coming into her own and that makes me so happy.
Jess is moving forward from her breakup with Jarret but really isn't sure how to go about that. She cracks me up a lot in this one - she's a hot mess at times but a hilarious hot mess.
Cassie is our emotional one - she wears her emotions on her sleeves. But I think she grows a lot this semester too.
Bear is trying move on from a relationship of sorts and getting his frat back in operating order and off probation. His story isn't too strong this season but he's the one they all come to for a shoulder to cry on.
Adam - oh he makes me swoon. He tries being the good guy but sometimes he kicks himself in the ass too. He acts before thinking and when he thinks he's doing the right thing, it smacks in the face.
Skyler - she still has no idea what she wants to do with her life except play poker. And this semester was most important to her because she plays in her biggest game - both in poker and in her love life.
And finally Erin - I wanted to bitch slap her so hard this season. She really pissed me off and I still can't forgive her. I get that she is trying to move on from everything but what she does - unforgiveable.
Overall - this season was another winner for me. While there were quite a few love connections finally coming to fruition, Kandi also dropped some bombs to keep us coming back for me and begging for the next season to come quickly. This whole series is my addiction and I love it!!
I don't get why this series isn't a TV Series yet. I mean, it would be freaking amazing! There is so much drama, so many good looking boys, so many plot twists... I need this to be a TV series.
Anyway, fantastic season, fantastic book. There are parts of episodes I loved reading (Ashlei's parts were my favorite) and others I'd skip with no regrets. Most important, THERE WILL BE SEASON 5 AAAAAAAAAAAH. but I have to wait A. FREAKING. YEAR. What am I supposed to do in the meanwhile? Living? Going out? Don't be silly, I need Season 5 like RIGHT. NOW.
During Legacy I started reading Black Number Four, which the author suggested to read "for the full reading experience". Yeah, I stopped reading that book at Episode 4 or so because HEY, I NEEDED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN ASHLEI AND BRANDON, I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO READ ABOUT SKYLER AND KIP (honestly Skyler and Kip's story is a consistent part of this season, but if you don't want to read two books at the same time, what is narrated in Legacy is enough to understand the storyline. And, as the author says, if you read the epilogue of Black Number Four, there are some spoilers for the Season 5).
Diesci! (for the ones who aren't Italian, this word is an Italian slang expression, coined by a chef during a reality show, that means "Perfect").
This series just keeps getting better. Oh, the drama and all the craziness of college. When this series first came out, I wasn't that interested in it. Not sure why, but with the audiobooks being released, I'm all on board. I think I actually prefer the audiobook format since it plays out more like the "show" it is written to be. That and the fact that the 7 characters are all performed by 7 different narrators that sound like the characters they are meant to be (meaning, they sound like sexed up, college aged, Frat and Sorority brothers and sisters).
Legacy returns for spring semester and there is some major changes in characters I really didn't see coming. While I've felt for Erin and just wanted her happiness and for her to find something good to bury the horrible, who she became in this 'season' left a bad taste in my mouth. With Erin, I have to mention Skyler and her new love interest, Kip. I was digging this and all for someone supporting her and the poker player she is. While she has Bear, she really needed a true partner. It never really seemed like she was as close to her sisters as some of them and it shows with her and her Big, Erin and what she manipulates her to do. Then there's Ashlei. Man, I wish we got more of her. That's all I'll say, but I really liked the way she handled herself on the professional level. I'm curious where her storyline will go. Cassie. Her and Adam have had a push and pull from the very first book/season and this one isn't any different. That's what I'll say about that. Their drama is there, but not as exciting to me this season. And Jess. After last season, I was hoping her love interest would return. BUT, I have a feeling something more fun is on the horizon for her and I can't wait. We don't get a lot of her this particular season, but she's there. Adam is still in love with Cassie, but he's scared. Come on, boy. It's time. Then there's Bear. I really wanted more from his POV this season, but he didn't get as much play time. After the bomb that was dropped on him, I have a feeling there will be more to come and it won't be pretty next season. Overall, Legacy was much more focused on Erin, Skyler and Kip, the new guy. With a side of Cassie and Adam. The other characters were there, but they were more filler and still dealing with their issues in life. Just like how a season on a tv show would play out, some characters had pivotal moments in this season and others helped the story move along. The narrators are growing on me and I'm really enjoying the way this series is playing out. It's like nothing I've read before because it's written more like a tv show or a series on Netflix or something. But that's what makes it exciting and fresh. The pacing is fun and fast and filled with drama, sex, love, and something new around each corner. Plus, the new characters that are getting thrown in make it more realistic and like true college life. Can't wait to see where Kandi takes next season!!
I don’t think I will ever get enough of the PSU gang!
This was by far the best season yet. I love the way this story is written! It reads like on of our favorite TV drama shows and I LOVE it! It’s so easy to binge read this series and each episode. There is a lot going on with each of the characters in this world but it is never overwhelming. You can easily remember who everyone is and what happens to them throughout the series.
I love being able to see each member of the PSU cast. Just like the previous books in the series, there is drama galore! However, there is never too much drama and its never cheesy or over the top.
Reading this book reminded me how much I love going back home to Palm South University and I am going to be so sad if this series ever comes to an end! These characters have quickly become like family, just like those from some of my most beloved tv shows.
I chose to read this book without reading Black Number Four as a companion novel but I will definitely be picking it up soon so I can get more of Skylar and Kip’s story!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

Season 4 is such a wild ride!! I am so unbelievably happy to get to be back with my Favorite characters!!! This season about killed me!! I literally got All the feels! I'm talking I was so freaking mad to so heart broken to every other emotion imaginable. It was so crazy and I loved every minute of it!!!! So much happens during this season!! Old doors are closed and New ones are opening! Every Single episode leaves you craving for more!! Season 4 was everything I wanted it to be and so much more!!! I am so in love with all the characters!!! This is one of the Best seasons yet!! It is insanely sexy!! Kandi Steiner knows how to write super sexy super intense romances!!!! My OTP came alive and I found some new OTP's that I am in love with!!! This crazy emotional season was a page turner from the very beginning! I could not put this season down!!! I am so in love with PSU and the whole crew!!! I am So Excited to see what will happen with them all next!!! I can't wait to re-read this season again!! I honestly loved it so much!!! One of my Favorite series ever!!
I loved Legacy: Palm South University Season 4. I feel liked I waited forever for this one and I was worried that I wouldn't remember the characters or story lines but that didn't happen. Once I started reading it was like catching up with old friends. I waited for this one to read Black Number Four Kandi has included what chapters of that book go with each episode of this book. Reading the chapters of Black Number Four after each episode was a little more time consuming than I had expected but oh so worth the extra time.
There are some fun times and some serious issues all thrown in in this one. I love this group of characters. They pull me in and I so want more of them. Of course I have my favorite character that I searched for in the Table of Contents before reading to see how often we would his POV.
This book was such a mess!!! The only good things about it were Jess and Kade and I can’t wait to see how their arrangement will work in the next book!
Legacy is the fourth book in Kandi Steiner’s Palm South University, and it was another fabulous addition to the series. When I first started this series, I was unsure if I would enjoy it. Once I started, however, I found it to be a huge addiction. With Legacy, we get a nice and juicy book that fed my addiction.
Although Legacy occurs in tandem with Black Number Four, you do not need to read them side-by-side. Legacy works perfectly fine as a standalone novel, although I am now interested in going and reading Black Number Four. There are certain details I want more of, and I know the book will give me those things I’m missing.
No matter how you read this one, it adds plenty to the Palm South University series. There is so much development for all the storylines, and you’ll be hit with so many feels. With each detail that is introduced, I fall deeper and deeper in love with the characters. Whenever I think I have a favourite, something will happen to change the fact. New aspects will be introduced that have me wanting more of someone else, pushing them into my favourite spot, and I find myself unable to put the book down.
Without a doubt, this is a must read for fans of the series. It’s the longest of the first four books, but that just means there is more good stuff to enjoy. As soon as you’re done, you’ll be desperate to see what book five brings.
this was so disappointing :/ I normally love these books so much but the majority of the characters annoyed me so much in this book, they were all being really hypocritical and selfish to be honest and it was really frustrating. I also wasn’t the biggest fan of a lot of the ships that took place in this one either. At this point all I care about is bear and erin tbh
I'm starting to enjoy the series less and less and I don't know if thats because I'm binging it and just need a break or if its truly the series going downhill. As the books go on, they get smuttier and smuttier and less about the characters as individuals and more about them in their romantic relationships. We haven't heard anything about Cassie's schooling and I just feel like we've lost some of the girls' identities. I've binge read the first 4 books and I think I'm going to take a break now because they're losing their charm for me. I really did not like reading Black Number 4 concurrently. I've never done that with reading alternate POV's like that, but I felt like it just made the story drag so this rating may not be fair for the book as an individual. I really didn't like how one of the characters gave up her power for love.
SPOILERS AHEAD: Cassie- She and Adam have a lot of back and forth in this book, but they end up together in the end.
Bear- Bear is dating a girl named Becca, but its still being teased that he may end up back with Erin.
Jess-Not dating either of the guys from the first book. She starts dating Kane, a random guy in the group. This story line held no interest for me.
Skyler-Has a big tournament in Vegas that she hopes to win to pay off school and help her parents. Starts a relationship with Kip and in the end throws it and gets 2nd place (still enough money) because she's so in love with Kip. Gives up poker and has a long distance with Kip until he comes back to PSU from UCLA. Becomes sorority president in the end.
Erin- She is portrayed as super crazy because of her relationship with Kip. She and he had a summer fling in Kansas one year and she fell a lot harder than he did and now he's there at PSU. Coincidence? Yep. She asks Skyler to try to lead him along and then break his heart so he'll turn to her. She agrees but thats dumb and they end up together, but he and Skyler are still messing around so Erin exposes the whole thing. Skyler and Kip have a huge falling out because he's upset, then later because she finds out that he was there to try to defeat her, but all is well in the end. Erin says she's going to therapy in the end.
Ashlei- Overcomes obstacles to continue to be with her CEO boss, Brandon.
Adam- dating Cassie
Kip- Kip comes to PSU to try to defeat Skyler at poker. His dad wants him to do it for some reason and he's staying he won't pay for college unless he defeats Skyler (the best). He finds out his dad is dying of lung cancer and so Skyler throws it to him so he can win and make his dad happy.
4.5 stars!!! Well damn, I think this one is my favorite in the series so far! The DRAMA girl! I’m not usually someone who enjoys OTT drama or scenes where nothing it’s said and everything stays as a misunderstanding but I have a soft spot for this series. Lol. It’s funny cause when I started this I wasn’t so sure I would finish it. And here I am, craving for the next season. So let’s start. Cassie was very annoying here lol, I get the way her mind works and how she processed everything but damn girl SPEAK UP. I got frustrated with her and Adam a lot here. Adam was also annoying, he’s so stupid. I wanted to hit some sense into him the whole book. But tbh, I just love them. I’ve always had a soft spot for them and I always will. Bear was pretty much MIA this season, but the scenes we got from him were super fun and sweet. I’m happy for him. (Though, I think Erin will intervene or cause trouble in his new relationship somehow, but we’ll see what happens). Lei’s wasn’t as present but I absolutely adore her and her storyline. Brandon and Lei are one of my favorite couples. Her and I have come a long way since I first met her! Jess was hilarious, I love that girl. That beginning though? With the Jarrett update? I was absolutely CRUSHED. But hey, her future and her storyline in the next season looks like it’s gonna be so much fun and my girl will finally have her HEA, I’m extremely excited for that. Now, Erin... *sigh* I don’t know. There were times (actually almost the whole book) were I absolutely hated her. I just wanted her out of everyone’s lives. But towards the end... I just want her to get better and I’m glad she’s gonna do that this summer. Just as her friendship with Sky, our relationship is not that great. It never has been, really, but I’ll give her one more chance. I think she’ll put through. Skylar MY GIRL. She wasn’t my favorite in the first two books, I liked her but it’s was like, whatever. But NOW. I love her. As I said, I read this book at the same time as I read “Black Number Four” which is her and Kip’s book. (I’ll talk more about their relationship on my review on that book) I got sooooo much insight into her mind and her person that I just can’t help but love her. This whole book was pretty awesome overall. There were some issues like the whole lack of communication, that bothered me A LOT, but it’s what I signed up for. College, drama and lust. There wasn’t that much sexy scenes here as the others but it was good nonetheless. I have to give it up to the author though, a lot of scenes were “the same” on both books but there were some slight changes that made the whole experience more entertaining and fulfilling. This was my first time reading two books at the same time and I thought it was going to be difficult and tiring but it really wasn’t. The writing and style made it pretty enjoyable. I’m glad I did it. I can’t wait for the next season!!!
P.S. I missed me some Bear and Sky bonding time :( I wish we could’ve had more of that. (I’m sad Bear is pretty much nonexistent in BNF)
Same timeline/story as blackjack, just different perspectives during different scenes. Haven’t read blackjack (or whatever it’s called—stand-alone about Skylar and Kip) but was disappointed when I realised this followed the synopsis on that book.
I also am not a fan of Skylar. I feel like the author really likes the idea of Skylar and has created her as the “effortless cool girl” who can have any guy because “she’s not like the other girls”—ie she plays poker and isn’t “girly” because she doesn’t always decide to wear dresses. I didn’t love Skylar’s character during the Adam Cassie beginning and frankly the brief part I read about her and Kip (I did not finish the book at all) frustrated me. (I also found what happened between Erin and Skylar a little similar to Skylar and Cassie in the sense of the “little” liking someone before realising their “big” also liked him.... I’d comment more on the parallel, but, like I said, I stopped reading after Erin asks Skylar to help her get Kip back and I realised it was the same synopsis.
My rant aside, curious to see what happens next, especially for Erin!! Hope she finds someone because reading a romance is nice although, of course, no one ever is in need of a significant other for happiness. :)
My guilty pleasure has been the PSU series, and while Legacy continues on in the same angsty, sexy, drama filled manner, I was a little disappointed that the story was so heavily focused on Skyler and Kip as Black Number Four is their own story. I found there was quite a bit of duplicate storyline being told between Legacy and B#4... Literally chapters duplicated. I would have preferred more of Bear’s storyline and Adam and Cassie, whom I grew to adore and root for during season 3, became somewhat whiny and annoying to me during this installment. My biggest disappointment was finding out that I have to wait another year for the 5th installment! Gah! All in all a fun, sexy read... and the cover was smoking hot! 3.5* here
Legacy by Kandi Steiner is book 4 of the Palm South University series. I love these books. They are written in episodes and it's like watching a television show. I'm showing my age but these stories remind me of Beverly Hills, 90210 or Melrose Place. Just like every favorite television show has a season that isn't as great as the others so do book series and this is the least favorite of this series.
These are very female forward stories that could be written separately but I think that it would take away from the university/sorority focus of the books. These characters wouldn't be who they are or as compelling on their own.
This book can be read concurrently with Black Number Four. I did read it in this manner and did not enjoy it. I think I would have enjoyed it more if Skylar was less prominent in Legacy and was just focused on in Black Number Four. It was distracting to switch books and much of Skylar's portion of Legacy is repeated in Black Number Four.
If Kandi Steiner writes more of these books I will keep reading them.
This series was incredible! I have never read anything like it! It really did feel like I was reading a tv series! I had mixed thoughts when I read reviews on the set up of the series but I’m so glad I gave in and gave it a chance because it blew me away!
I loved every character! Every story line! Each characters story, background and love life was original, and so interesting I was hooked from the very first page!
It’s hard to say who my favourite character was as they were all so awesome and different but I did love Jess! And Bear, yummy!
All the heroines were such badas*es! And the heroes weren’t your cliche sports playing college alphas! I loved the friendships and the bromances! The secondary characters were just as intriguing as the main characters!
I have nothing bad to say about this series and I really, really recommend you reading it ASAP!
Tropes seen throughout the series:
College Workplace Friends to Lovers Sorta Teacher/Student Interracial
• As bad as I feel for Erin, she got on my NERVES throughout this book. I am intrigued to find out how Bear reacts now that he knows about the baby. I’m happy she’s going to get therapy because she is not over what happened to her.
• I’m happy Cassie and Adam are together, even though I didn’t agree with her giving him a hard time! The man was trying and she kept throwing hissy fits. I wanted to shake her😂.
• I love Ashlei and Brandon together 😍. Very happy they ended this season dating.
• Skyler and Kip are sooooo good together. Overall, it feels like this entire book centered around their relationship and the Erin drama, especially since I read this alongside Black Number Four. They each had their reasons for what they did and I’m VERY happy they ended up together!!
• I’m excited for the Jess/Kade storyline. I know they’ll end up together from the Black Number Four epilogue but I want to see it play out!
• I’m still rooting for Bear and Erin, so I don’t know what’s gone happen with this Becca girl he’s dating.

The PSU gang is all back for the spring semester and are ready for a new season of drama, love, angst and heat. It was great to catch up with the characters that we know and love and to see what happens to them this season.
We have a new transfer Kip and Skylar has her eyes on him, but she isn’t the only one. After much angst and turmoil Cassie may finally have found her happy ever after. Erin’s life ii full of emotion and angst while Ashlei and Jess have reached a crossroads and need to decide what they really want.
These characters reel you in and leave you knowing that the next season can’t come soon enough.
I think this was my favorite so far. Love Skylar and Kip's story line. Have loved Skylar through all of the books but this one just hit me the hardest. To see her finally put herself out there. I can't wait for the next book. Hoping for a return of Jarrett and also that Erin and Bear finally get together. Especially after what happens at the end of this book. Also loved Mr CEO and Ashlei glad something worked out for her after all she has been through. I have to say Erin wasn't my favorite in this book and wanted to slap her a couple of times. Looking forward to more between Adam and Cassie, maybe now they can have some good times rather than worrying about everyone else.
This book took me waaaay longer than the first 3 in this series, and I hate to say it but this was definitely my least favorite so far. Love this series, but I hated switching back and forth between 2 books periodically (especially when the second book had key info for the plot line). I would have enjoyed more of Ashlei & Church’s relationship instead of the drama bullshit that Erin concocted throughout the book. Still gonna read the rest of the series so I’m hoping this was only a little bump in the road 🤞🏼
Eee I finished! I really enjoyed this one! I will say, it is definitely not my favorite in the series. I felt like Skyler was most of the story, and she’s not a character I particularly am obsessed with. And there was a bunch of drama with her and Erin I didn’t love. Erin was annoying, though I fully understand why. I thought that it gave a great message that you shouldn’t depend on others to heal you when you can heal yourself. I hope that makes sense. Also, Adam is the best man ever in the entire freaking world and I’d die to have a guy like him. Okay, bye! Just kidding, but yeah overall—not my fave, but I still loved it! Buddy read with the beautiful Tatiana!!
I love the way these books are written. It's written in episodes like a dram TV show. I got major Greek vibes while reading these. I don't think I have read a book formatted like this before and I really enjoyed it. They were all quick reads and so addicting.
One of my least favorite things in books is the non communication trope especially when all the characters had to do was talk to avoid all of the drama. That trope is very prominent in these books and for whatever reason it worked for me. I was immediately hooked.
The characters and all of their drama sucked me in and I couldn't get enough. These books do touch on some hard hitting topics as well. Some of which a discussed somewhat at length and others are just mentioned once or twice.
I became attached to these characters. Some more than others but I loved them all and I had to know what was in store next for them and I still need to know. Ritual just released in July and the author has plans for 2 more books in the series as far as I know and I can't wait for the next one to be released.
Set up like your favorite show to binge on Netflix, PSU is an addictive series that will have you begging Kandi Steiner to release the next season before next summer!
Legacy is the BEST season yet! The tie in with Black Number Four is, hands down, my favorite part. I highly recommend scooping up BN4 before Legacy releases so you can read them together.
