5 ⭐ NF.The book was excellent. It was a little hard for me to listen to because I don't care for first person books as much as third person. It's written from the student's viewpoint. The book also listed hard events that he either got put in or put himself in. There's an afterword by his father. I highly recommend it for people who are in counseling or who have students with tourette's. Many of his worst symptoms dissipated when he wasn't taking so much medication and had decided himself that he had to take control of the situation.
This was a very interesting book. I didn’t know too much about Tourette’s until after reading this man’s struggle. I am glad he has a better life now and found the strength to get through the difficult times. Life is a journey.
