The Rochesters #3

Rebellious Heir

Rate this book
It's a marriage of convenience only. The one rule is they must never fall in love.

Billionaire property CEO and rebellious heir Caspian Rochester enjoys a mutually beneficial fake relationship with his best friend, gifted portrait artist and heiress Isabella.

He funds her lifestyle, so she is free to pursue her career as an artist and not sell her soul to her family’s finance business.

And in return, she pretends to be his adoring girlfriend, always on his arm in public.

It’s a win-win:

No messy emotions or bad press—just friendship, dating, and steamy bedroom benefits.

They fool everyone into believing they are the perfect couple, and on Caspian’s thirtieth birthday, his grandfather, founder of the Rochester dynasty, issues an ultimatum that it’s time for Caspian to marry.

Caspian shocks Isabella when he proposes exchanging their fake relationship for a marriage of convenience to satisfy the terms of each other’s inheritance.

She accepts against her better judgement.

But when disaster strikes and their fake marriage crumbles, Caspian realises he’s fallen harder for his wife than he ever thought possible, and the only one he’s been fooling is himself…

A heart warming story

Reading from the beginning I was taken by how this couple lived their lives. For two best friends not to see what they had together was very shortsighted. After a marriage of convenience to each other things go very wrong and that is where the real story takes off. Well worth the read.

A romantic love story

Loved that it took place in London and Rhodes/Lindos and that it was a passionate love story. It did drag in places and gramma wasn’t 100%, but I did enjoy (as I did the other 2 books). Looking forward to the next in series.

Enjoyable read. Loved the stories of the Rochester family but found it hard to like the lead female character in this story.
