Two words people… Lucian Kane. 😍🥵 A sexy bad boy who can sing, I’m sold! With each turn of the page this book definitely brought out all the giddy feelings in me. I was hooked from start to finish, Dawn L. Chiletz knows her stuff.

Where do I start? This book hooked me from the first page: bad boy rock star Lucien Kane, baggage for days. Blaire, not following the path her family chose for her, and landing in the path of Lucien Kane. Add in a refreshing storyline, a beautifully written journey of two souls looking to find themselves. I am excited to read more in this series, as I did not want this book to end.

Lucian and Blaire, what an emotional rollercoaster of a ride in this first book of a new series, and as the last chapter finished, you just know that more heartache is to come in this couple's unique beautifully told journey of love, new beginnings and being true to yourself, of being brave enough to fly when others want to hold you back and finally taking that leap of faith to go where your heart takes you.
Bad boy singer Lucian is the complete opposite of soft wonderful Blaire, from convent to a strict family, Blaire longs for something different, and at a bar, she finds it with Lucian, but each has their issues and demons to deal with, and just when you think they get their HEA you realise there is a gripping next book to come for this couple and their journey is not yet over.

This is the first time I have read Dawn L Chiletz book and I have to say I loved it..
This is definitely an opposites attract story because Lucian and Blaire are like chalk and cheese they couldn't be any more different.
Lucian is a bad boy Rockstar he is known for being a player for being bad for being the devil with a beautiful face and sinful body.
He owns a bar in his home town of Kane and while on a break from recording and touring he goes to visit the bar to get away for a while...even though the people in the town Hate him and what he represents.
Blaire is on the run escaping in the middle of the night from the convent.
Her family is very religious and strict making her become something she is not sure she wants, so she runs away to discover who she is. Landing in the town of Kane, she stumbles into the bar thinking it was a church...and gets mistaken for being their new employee.
Long story short she ends up working in Lucians bar she is so innocent and has no idea who Lucian is. So when they meet she actually tells him how his music is mediocre and criticizes the uniforms they have to wear calling him out..
Lucian is completely intrigue by this mysterious woman she is like the Angel to his Devil and when he discovers she is actually innocent in every single way possible.
He challenges himself to stamp her V Card.
But as he gets to know Blaire and she brings out the good guy within him, he changes his whole attitude towards Blaire and his intentions.
But with both of them keeping secrets about their pasts what would happen if they discovered those secrets.?
Would it destroy the relationship and trust they are building together.?
This was such an intriguing read I love opposites attract stories, because the characters always show how differences can be beautiful and can change us.
Being with Lucian, Blaire discovers herself tries things she would never have been able to try if she were to become a Nun...she finds out what love is, what physical affection can be like and what freedom feels like.
Lucian also finds himself because being with Blaire he is not the big bad rockstar he is just Lucian and she sees the goodness within him, that nobody else sees.
They both like who they are when they are together.
I didn't realize there is a book two and Lucian and Blaires story will continue, which I am glad about, I am wondering what will happen to them.
This is a fantastic story I loved the writing and it is Funny, sweet, sexy and romantic...I will look forward to more.

This was my first read from this Author.. When I met her at a book convention recently I knew I wanted to read from her collection. Upon reading the description for Converted I just knew this was going to be my start into her books and she did not disappoint me!
I don’t think there is a single thing I can say bad about Lucian, who doesn’t love a hot “bad boy” with some baggage… and I honestly felt like Blaire complemented him well in this book, she seemed to be the only one that wanted to understand him, and yet I think he helps her in someway understand herself too..
It was a really good read that I could not put down. The ending leaves on a bit of a cliffhanger and boy…..
I’m already ready for the second book!

When I saw this author published another book I knew I had to have it. This author is always so good with her writing style and how she leaves no detail unfinished.
I seriously can’t wait for the other books!
This book gives you the heat and the story! Lucian is the bad boy and little Blaire is the ultimate good girl and of course when they collide… boom the heat! Two souls just searching for freedom.
Not only will you fall for the two main characters but this author always makes you like the secondary as well.
Another good story from this author who always make them unique and unlike typical romance books.
I seriously can’t wait for the other books!

I can't even begin to describe how excited I was for Dawn L. Chiletz to put out a new book. In my opinion, her books are hidden gems in the genre of Romance, never failing to deliver amazing writing and a great storyline. And thankfully Converted was exactly the type of book I was expecting from Chiletz.
There are a lot of things I loved about this book, but my absolute favorite was the chemistry between the all of the characters. It isn't just the main characters that shine, but in true Chiletz fashion she once again created great side characters as well, not only giving us fun friendships, but also believable enemies.
The story itself puts a unique twist on the idea that opposites attract. Blaire is the epitome of a good girl, and Lucian is everything that good girls should run away from. They really are as different as two people could be. But Chiletz somehow finds a way to make their relationship believable and honest in a tension filled, slow burn kind of way.
Converted does touch lightly on religion, making it (in my opinion) a risky subject for the romance genre. But religion isn't the focus of the book, and I think Chiletz was very respectful in her delivery. So anyone who is religious, or even not religious at all, shouldn't let that sway them from giving this book a read.
I could write an entire essay on what I loved about this book (I basically already have), but instead I'll end my review by saying that if you're looking for a unique storyline with amazing writing, then this book is for you. And I really hope to see more books from Dawn L. Chiletz soon.

Blaire and Lucian are total opposites in everything, she is good he is not. But, the chemistry is scorching. This book was really good, the characters had great chemistry and the story was written very well. I loved how I could feel the feelings these two had for one another.

I have been waiting for the finished Converted for a long while, having read the first few chapters in an anthology. The Full length story did not disappoint.
Lucian Kane is the bad boy rockstar and Blaire is the novitiate questioning her life's path. After Blaire hops off a bus and finds herself working in Lucian's bar, these two go on a journey of discovering faith, trust, love and choices. Both work on forgiveness and find a new purpose in each other.
This is an adorable slow burn love story. I adore a playboy in love and the revelation that love is to them. Lucian is all the clichés of a rockstar including no desire to commit or fall in love. Blaires naivete and innocence makes her a challenge that Lucian can't refuse. But in wooing her he falls truly, madly and deeply.
I didn't want the book to be over and was happy to realise there is more to come for these two and Converted was just the start for these two as lovers.

This was so cute! I’m absolutely adored all the characters. I’ve read other books by this author and one thing she does amazing is the found family aspect. I love the connection between all the characters
The growth of both main characters was mature and realistic. For the most part (see below)…
The one reason why this isn’t a 5 stars is because I don’t think Lucian fully redeemed himself from just wanting her virginity to fully loving her. It was weird cause I felt his feelings did change but he still randomly had these thoughts of only taking her virginity. Basically, the thoughts were RANDOM and contradicted actions. I hope that makes sense 😂. But there is a second book, that I can’t wait to read, so hopefully he redeems himself.

Thank you so much Dawn for giving me the chance to read Converted before its release date. It's definitely one of my favorite books of 2023. I fell in love with with Lucian. You know my love for him as I bothered you during this week, lol. I'm sorry about that, but I had all the feelings with this book. I connected so well with Blaire, she might be shy but feisty as well. This book will give you every feel, sadness, mistery, happiness, but also the feeling of "I want to punch him/her."

So this book, at first I didn't know what to think about this book and especially Blaire. Blaire is a unique girl. She comes from a very, very sheltered life with all she knows is church and the farm. Her parents have plans for her and on day one, she bolts to a new life. She sees what she thinks is a church and thinks that everything will be ok. She is so wrong.. Blaire eyes are opened to new things.. one thing being Lucian Kane.. He's a famous rockstar, all eyes are always on him and girls drop everything to be with him. He has a backstory that will make you love him. Him and Blaire come from way different backgrounds but something about them together just works.
I wasn't sure about Blaire, her words made me laugh especially when she said called a dirty martini an "unclean martini" and during sexy times, she called them "her girl parts." In her world, you wait until after marriage to have sex and absolutely no swear words whatsoever. She is thrown herself into the devil's den and doesn't know what to do. So many times during this book, you will definitely be shaking your head and just in disbelief of how naive she truly is. She is one of a kind but loves hard and sees the good in everybody. She may be backwards in her thinking but I think with the help of Lucian, she'll learn a lot! Lol. This was a book I wasn't expecting to really love but I found myself just getting sucked into their story! Oh and I almost forget that there's drama in this book that mostly surrounds Lucian and his family. Lucian finds a calm with Blaire that he hadn't found before. She weird and wonky but he finds she is exactly what he needs in his life. I guess you could say that a devil needs an angel in his life! This was a really good book with characters you will either love or hate!

I am so glad that I came across this book. It was my first by this author, and it will not be the last. Lucian and Blaire's story was unique, emotional, and very entertaining. I was easily pulled in and addicted to the plot as it held me captive until the end. There were amazing characters all around with great chemistry and connection. It doesn’t necessarily end on a cliffhanger, but there will be more for this intriguing couple. I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

I am already a fan of Dawn Chiletz's writing, and was not surprised that I loved this story as well. Dawn knows how to write rock stars, and she does it with depth and inner turmoil and always a twist (or two). The cast of characters was kept small enough that I didn't lose track of who was who, but large enough that there were outside influences that affected the relationship between Blaire and Lucien. Of course there were plenty of comedic moments, one of Dawn's strengths, right up there with the passionate ones. I enjoy that there is a lot of story to the romance and a lot of investment placed in the characters. I was rooting for them all (except Nadia) from start to finish, wanting everyone to find their Happily Ever After. I can't wait to read Book 2: REDEEMED.

Whew! My goodness, this book. Converted by Dawn L. Chiletz was just outstanding. So many different emotions. Both of the main characters have issues that they are dealing with, and to bring them together made for an intriguing plot line with some unique twists and turns.
Blaire and Lucian were destined. Destined to meet and navigate the path to love. And believe me, they had a tempestuous path. The push and pull that Ms. Chiletz wove into this story will keep you fascinated to the very end.

Lucian is a bad boy rockstar, who is used to getting what he wants, while Blaire has led an innocent and sheltered life, where she was promised to the convent. Blair is kind-hearted, and she leaves her life behind to find herself, and she ends up working in Lucian’s bar. This is a well written slow burn story, which is an emotional roller coaster, with making choices, trusts, twists, challenges, intrigue, revelations, and love, which leads to an entertaining romance story.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Converted is the first book in Dawn L. Chiletz's series of the same name. This book is also the first book by this author that I have had the pleasure of reading. I loved following the beginning of Blaire and Lucian's opposites attract romance. Lucian the bad boy rock star and Blaire the almost nun, the way Lucian called it good and the bad but perfect together. I was hooked from the start and loved following the characters grow from how they were in the beginning to how they were at the end of the book. I look forward to reading the continuation of their story in the next book.

A captivating and full of twist and turns
This book had my on my toes this whole time. I could not put it down! It had me eager to read it so fast! I love the mystery side mixed with the action and smut! There was so much going on with Bad Boy rock star who falls first and good girl with a heart of innocence unexpected things to happen! I love how she peels him back like a onion and makes him realize he is a great person! This book was cute and I can't wait for the next book!!
