The Master IC Cookbook

Rate this book
For beginning to mid-level electronics technicians and hobbyists, this easy-to-use, best-selling reference supplies a wealth of technical information on the most widely used integrated circuits. Respected author Delton Horn focuses on the ICs themselves rather than the circuits they are used in, providing new or updated material on oscillators and signal generators, RF and video devices, voltage regulators, and digital/analog crossovers. The book is logically organized to help readers instantly find the information they need.

I had a lot of fun with this book, spending hours looking up assorted chips salvaged from here there and everywhere to see what the mad scientist inside me could create. OK, I wasn't that good of a mad scientist.. but I did make a lot of cool fun things and this book helped me understand the word of integrated circuits and how to use them!
