Loved it. Wish it would kinda continue on a little more:] but all well that ends well. Action, adventure and romance with a big dash of scifi thrown in. Can't get any better than this series especially this third book. Talk about a roller coaster ride from hell. Even with the little talk of Lucie from the other two books. I wondered what the author would come up with for her and she didn't disappoint either. Lucie is having weird dreams and feeling disconnected with the men she is with who saved her. She feels like she doesn't belong and wants to go home. Why won't this voice leave her alone...
I enjoyed this series in part because the author's phrasing often has me thinking about how people ground the concept of "ecstasy" in different things, be they religious or relational. Our culture often limits ecstasy, or the greatest ecstasy, to sex, but that is an unusual choice, and one that people in the US shifted to roughly over the last couple centuries. Initially God was viewed as the source of greatest joy, then romantic love, and eventually sex itself, independent of love.
In the series as a whole, this author deliberately reverses that progression, placing the greatest ecstasy in sex performed within a loving, committed relationship, but in this book she takes another step, grounding things not in the Christian god but in a more amorphous both male and female spiritual reality that both loves and guides the humans of the story, and that has always loved and guided the people of the Homeworld the series is about.
As with Christianity, the "religion" of this series is ultimately grounded, not just in the concept of "love", but within relational beings of some sort who hold as a high good loving family relationships. and that embrace and encourage marriage and permanent sexual relationships.
But that is a minor part of the story. While the first two books focused more on the history of the male partners and their troubles at home, this one spends a lot more time on the heroine's difficult past and on the failures of humankind. It also ups the background plot and foregrounds the bad guy, leading to some cool science-fiction/fantasyish imagery toward the end that rose above my expectations.
As a whole the author is competent but not brilliant, the series suffers from some iffy editing when it comes to spelling and using the right word, and the male triads in particular blend in the mind while the female characters are only slightly easier to keep track of. Still, on the whole I enjoyed it, and recommend it to anyone who thinks the premise sounds fun.
The Erion Triad: A Negari Romance Book 3/book 6 Reverse Harem By Charmaine Ross Kindle unlimited purchase Read the Hexonian Alien Abduction series first. That series is not a Reverse Harem but it gives you more insight into what is going on in this series. This is an MMFM book so if you don't like this kind of books you can skip this series and it will take NOTHING away from the Hexonian series. Their Crystal has been stolen and because of this, no new Triads have been found. This means no babies in years. The Erion triplets are looking for their Crystal and their mate and the brothers know she and it is close. In the Hexonian books, women have been abducted from earth by these reptiles and taken for God knows what. In this series, the reptiles or at it again. Lucie is keeping secrets one that can hurt her mates. Kyel, Zaen, and Juliran know Lucie is their mate but they haven't done anything passed that. This was a great book. Sorry to see this series end. But I guess it has 3 Crystals, 3 books. Each of the books Hexonian and Negari flow right into the next. I recommend reading BOTH of the series as the story continues through both series. *Hexonian Alien Abduction: Book 1 - Jo’Aquin Book 2 - Striker Book 3 Alastor *Negari Reverse Harem Alien Abduction: Book 4 – The Ozar Triad Book 5 – The Arabis Triad Book 6 – The Erion Triad
i just finished reading The Erion Triad which is the last in the Negari trilogy by Charmaine Ross. i absolutely loved it.
a year and a half ago, i stubbled across the first book in this trilogy, The Ozar Triad, on play books for free. i devoured it. although, because im not that comfortable reading digitally, i refrained from buying the next two. this book, however, stayed on my mind. when i found out the paper backs were released, i was ecstatic. they arrived on friday. i thought it would be hard to get back into the world as its been so long since reading the first but i jumped straight into the second book and loved every second of it - same goes for the third.
if you enjoy reverse harem, paranormal romance with aliens devoted to their mate and you haven’t read this trilogy, you definitely should!
The Ozar Triad - 4 stars The Arbis Triad - 4 stars The Erion Triad - 5 stars
This is the 3rd book in the Triad series I loved this story and this is Lucie’s and her triad of men Julliran, Klyel and Zaen’s story. Lucie falls unconscious and her men must go into her consciousness to persuade Lucie to come out but it’s not going to be easy for her men. I’m not going to get too much into this story but there’s action, adventure, suspense, danger, drama, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. I loved this story even though it can be read as a standalone but the other books set it up for this one, amazing story/ series and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
This book is just as great as all the previous ones and holds your attention from beginning to end? It's packed with adventure, action, evil deity, drama, love, and hot steamy scenes that leaves you saying ahh with awesome characters? Highly recommended series and definitely a must buy.
Good book except the beginning & when they were in Lucie's prison. Lucie working herself to death by the entity. Also a little disappointed in the end as I think after Lucie finished her song, the audience should have praised her. But it abruptly ended before she even finished her song, without seeing the Negari's reaction to her song.
