I’ve changed. I’m not the same terrified girl on the run I’d been for all those years. Soon, my enemies are going to meet the new me. And I’m going to make them bleed.
The dark witches have taken their cause to a whole new level. Countless innocent lives could be lost if we don’t stop 5th Circle.
Now, more than ever, we need to be free of the enchantress’s curse—and time is running out.
Oh my gosh!! I was GLUED to this book from the first page to the last! If you are a regular reader of series books you will know what I’m talking about when I say this is that ‘FINALLY’ book of the series. It’s the one you have been waiting for!!
Can we say character growth!!! I’m not just talking about one character either I’m talking across the board all of them especially Cade!! Watching the relationship grown and seeing how much they all car for one another. There were some twists and turns some surprising moments and I am dying to see what happens next. By far my most favorite book of the series it has everything! And them steamy moments will have you fanning yourself! Loved it!!
Cassia has made this the best book of the series. There is action and tension for days that will keep you hooked to every word.
There is so much growth between Emma, Cade, Zane and Lucas. Each character grows in their own way but it is pivotal to them and their iwn story arc. This book builds your heart and hopes up only to shattered them to tiny pieces and leave you utterly broken. It will fill you with joy, make you whole and reignite that hope only to make you realise it is never that easy.
There are so many layers to this plot which are peeled back and examine, leaving you surprised and left desperatly wanting more. Will Emma prove herself to be as loyal to Emma as she claims, will the bikers be able to help, who has the strongest seerer? The final book in this series will be explosive.
I could not put this book down, so much was going on. All of the characters grew in this book. I enjoyed how they could support each other, as they worked towards their goal. It was nice to see Cade open up throughout the book. There were so many interesting moments, making the story flow smoothly. I highly recommend you read this book, it is definitely the best yet. I can not wait to see where this story is going.I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Book 3 in the Mafia Beasts series picks up where book 2 left off. Emma's childhood friend, whom she believed to be dead, is back.. but Claire isn't exactly the same girl. She's been working as an assassin for years.. but could she still be the friend she claims to be? Plus Emma, and her mates, are still looking to get revenge on the 5th Circle. And, of course, there's the curse that still needs breaking.. Book 3 was an exciting build up.. a few questions get answered.. but not all of them. I couldn't put it down and I can't wait for the next book!
It was really suspenseful, high intensity, and action packed! Emma is dealing with the shocked revelation that her best childhood friend, Claire, is alive and well, her stalker, and a prominent figure in the 5th Circle (the very bad guys) and an assassin. Cade finally caves and become the third and final mate to Emma. The curse is lifted, and the enchantress actually manipulated and cursed them all because she need their help. So lots of information was revealed and withheld.
They tried to attack the 5th Circle and end them, well that didn’t work out at all. Now they are being summoned by the supernatural council (which I think is bad) and under supernatural investigation (also bad I think).
Claire and Ash might have a thing going…? Also, the Easter egg clue that Emma has a different birth father that she didn’t know of.
Yeah. It will interesting to see how things progress in book four.
Harem: Zane (head leader, vampire, dominant), Lucas (alpha wolf, possessive, filthy flirt), and Cade (our damaged fae, quiet, observant, super sensual and sexy)
So much action and suspense! I was on the edge of my seat through the entire book. Emma has shown so much strength and growth throughout the story. The connection with her men to break the curse has grown so much from the first and second book. I cannot wait to see what the last book has is store!
This book is suspenseful, riveting, and oh so steamy. The story line was so good, I couldn't put it down. The character growth in this book is on point. I loved seeing Emma and her men not only grow together but individually as well. There are twists and turns throughout this story that will keep you guessing until the very end. The cliffhanger ending has me wanting the next book right now!! This is the best book in the series so far and I can't wait to see how this series is going to end!!
Emma's childhood friend has defected but can she be trusted??
This book weaves together all the threads of the previous books and had one hell of a battle at the end. Once again I was left with a cliffhanger making me need the next book right now!
The dynamic between the main characters is well written and all the characters gel together just right. Finally we get to see a different side to Cade than has previously been shown.
Can Emma and her mates finally defeat 5th circle once and for all??
So glad to finally see Cade accept the inevitable. Emma has found a few new allies to help in her take down of 5th circle. Unfortunately new questions have come to light and need to be answered. This book was flaming with the steam pouring between Emma and her hunky men. Can't wait to see what is in store for the next book.
Brazen Hearts was a wonderful read with some twists and turns, as well as steamy moments that had me unable to put it down. Can’t wait to read the next book.
My interest is declining again. The lead up to the battle was disappointing. Then the battle itself was anti-climatic. I understand we're dragging stuff out for another book, but half the book was hanging around the mansion waiting for Vee to show up for summer solstice. Did someone betray them or is there another psychic witch like Vee?
Also, Forrest's death was a letdown. It would have been more interesting to see how the battle would have played out with Vee's original plan. Forrest would have HATED helping the hybrids, so I felt like that would have been a more justifiable end for him.
Can Orion really be dead, please? I have a feeling he isn't, though. I really hate that his character is irredeemable now. I don't care how he was manipulated. There is no comeback for everything he's done. It took 3 months for him to turn his back on the only family he has left that has spent damn near a decade protecting him. He's spent his whole life knowing his sister better than anyone and he flipped on her over a man he didn't know (because he was a toddler when his father died) for a group of people who are trying eradicate an entire race of people. Yeah, fuck him.
I feel like we're losing the relationships between each guy and Emma. It's all group stuff now and it's kind of lackluster like the rest of the plot. Maybe we'll get more individual relationships now that we're heading to Cade's familial home? I guess we'll see.
I'm looking forward to seeing how a bunch of hybrids are going to handle the Supernatural Counsel. I predict they'll either be a hinderance or useless. That's usually how "big counsel" plots go in other PNR books.

Emma is a FMC that holds her own as a hybrid and as a mate to her three men admirably. Her confidence in her abilities grows the more she practices and the more she does!
Her men may seem to be growly to outsiders but they're in fact extremely lenient with her in comparison to other mates I've read in other series. Yes, they're possessive and they have a deep desire to keep her safe, but they have faith in her abilities, and in herself to ask if she needs aid, to let her do as she needs.
Finding the 5th Circle is proving to be more of a nightmare than initially thought. And now with Supernatural Investigation Bureau knocking on their door, they're more chased than ever.
Fleeing to Cades family manor makes him face his past for good and it's not what he expected.
The Sinful Saints MC gang are there to help as a group of all hybrids. They all want to see the end of 5th Circle, but when they see Claire, tensions are high as she assassinated the alphas second, and brother, on behalf of them when she was with them.
With another gasping cliffhanger I'm left reaching for the final book and I'm itching to know how this ends!

Thoughts:
I wanted to like this because of Cade and Lucas. Zane was good but fell flat in this book, kind of like everything else. From the first page of this book, I got bored which was crazy because I binged the others. I was so hoping for more character development and relationship building. We got the backstory on them, but something vital was missing.
Sadly wouldn’t read this series again which is upsetting because I enjoyed the MMCs. I enjoyed Cade’s sex scenes, Lucas in the last book. Everything else wasn’t for me.
Here’s the thing I get magic, I get fated mates, I get chosen one prophecies. Normally I very much enjoy these, I normally adore them but there’s something about Emma and the way that she is just incredibly over powered that is making my eye twitch. It’s getting to the point I’m not sure I want to finish but here’s the thing it’s also not bad enough I wanna toss it out
The so called spicy scenes felt very, vanilla to me. Now to be fair this may be because I have read my fair share of bully which this most obviously is not. The scenes aren’t bad but they’re faster than i expected
I was sooo happy to fonally see Emma and Cade have sex. The scenes were short but still pleasing. I love the balance you gave the guys. I especially love getting to see into Cade's softer side and his past. Nice twist with Vee. I was honestly expecting her to be Emma's mother with another twist behind that.

I really love these characters. As we travel through every twist and turn, whilst also getting those steamy scenes too. This is a ride I didn't want to get off. We get to see Emma and her mates grown closer especially Cade, and the fight with Vexx to try and stop the death of hybrids. To bring this book to a cliffhanger ending wanting more.
Brazen Hearts (Her Wicked Mates #3) by Cassia Briar – This series is on kindle unlimited. Just when you think their lives can’t include more characters you have to remember, they uncover more backstory! Despite the huge cast, this has been a fun journey so far! I just suggest you read all of these in a row so you can keep up with who’s who! Happy Reading!
A fantastic book 3 for a series full of wonder and legend! I’ve been hooked since book 1, and this gives answers to some of my questions and it sets book four up perfectly to give a stellar ending to the series!
This book did a great job, of reminding the reader why we love these characters. I have loved this series, but they are getting too dramatic. Not sure why everything has to go wrong, this book could have been the end.
Story clipped along nicely, but ended on a dreaded cliffhanger. I like the FMC and her character development throughout the series so far. I enjoyed reading this series immensely.
Aaahhhh that freak’n ending!!! Oh my gosh so much has happened 😬😬 Must Freak’n Read this series aahhhh sooooo Freak’n Good!!!! 💜🖤 On to the next book!!🥰
