This book highlights a panoramic overview of AI in India. It traces the history of AI research in India, then discusses its current state along with the key areas of progress that have been made recently. These include a variety of developments in AI-powered chatbots, facial recognition systems, etc.

The book further explores the impact of AI on India’s economy and society. AI can potentially revolutionize many industries, such as healthcare, agriculture, and manufacturing. It also discusses the challenges, such as the lack of skilled talent and the need for better data infrastructure. The book also touches upon the creative side of AI which has redefined art and it’s consumption.

I particularly liked the authors’ balanced and objective approach to the topic. They did not shy away from discussing the challenges that India faces, along with highlighting the many potential benefits that AI can offer.

I also found the book’s take on the ethical implications of AI. The authors raised important questions on its malicious and destructive use.

Overall, “AI Rising” is a well-written and informative book that provides a valuable overview of the AI landscape in India. I did feel that the book could have been more in depth in some areas; however it is a comprehensive read for beginners who want to understand AI.

Language of the book is simple which makes it easy to read. The book is compact and tries to deliver maximum information. Explanations in the book have a good blend of knowledge and application which stands it out.

I loved the book because it doesn't entangle itself in technological jargon and is very approachable. At the same time, it is very thorough in the application part, which may be of considerable interest to the non-technical population. It has a very balanced perspective about the strides that India has made in its AI journey and also about the long way it has to further travel to overcome its rivals in the field. It doesn't gloat about the technology, nor does it demonise the dangers. Some parts of it felt repetitive, and the figures and charts included in it were too juvenile, like copy-pasted from a PowerPoint presentation. But still, I consider the book to be one for mandatory reading.

All I can say once again after reading this book is that AI is not a threat. Accept it or not, slowly and gradually it is spreading it's roots in our day to day work life. Furthermore, it will continue to do so in any possible field.

AI developments will transform the life and systems at work place?- yes
It can be a game changer if you are self aware? -yes.

You think AI will overtake writers? Let me share a line from the acknowledgement of the book - "This book has been entirely written by humans. No chapter, section, or even paragraph has been generated by AI-maybe one of the last ones of its kind on the subject" 😂 decide now.

Right from understanding what AI is, to Introduction and implementation of AI in India -(In different sectors namely - Startups, Digital Payments system, Learning mechanisms for MNC's, Super Apps, Metaverse, etc)

It also talks about a holistic approach to AI. Why does the future need AI, ethics and framing AI policies. The language is simple and concise. A person from (not so deeply science and tech oriented) can also understand the concepts shared in here.

This book also brings in many case studies with graphical embellishments, data analysis, and many more aspects of how AI is assisting the world to run better and more efficiently. Unlike the colloquial technologies, AI also has its own path-breaking footprints on the native language translation methodologies that have been presented to the readers which is truly astonishing.

Though factual information is provided throughout the book, at times I discerned being lost and felt strenuous to comprehend, nevertheless authors kept readers engaged with the insights of AI and its advancements and adaptations.

On a high note, this book ends with propitious furtherance and guaranteed vision and a bunch of case studies like Digital Avatars, virtual meet-ups, smart algorithms, Virtual reality simulations, metaverse concepts, modeling, automation, and much more.

This book is a window to Artificial Intelligence as it talks about what AI is, how it is helping Indian companies, digital payments, learning AI from MNCs and various other AI related topics.

This book will help you understand the world of AI and give you a clear understanding of its applications in business, industry and society at large.

The book also talks about the past, present and future of AI.

This book is very informative and is the first of its kind as no other author has touched on these topics in such depth.

The cover page and title of the book are appropriate.

The language used is simple and understandable but some technical terms are used which may not be understood by everyone.

This book is for an aspiring AI student, an entrepreneur, a policy maker, a senior executive, an investor or a decision maker, but anyone who has an interest in AI can read this book.
