Backsliding: The War that wages in a Man

The world is full of so many attractions that can deter and prevent one from living for God. We are living in a world where the flesh is pleased first before the spirit. Some have given themselves to the practice, lifestyle, and desire of the flesh, they have allowed the devil to gain mastery over them by yielding to his plan, will, and desire for a man. Some had given themselves to God and given up along the way when the trial of life and its trouble present itself. Their consecration and service to God that was once held tenaciously are now dying. They begin to isolate themselves from the things that pertain to God or they may be religious worshippers, not spiritual worshippers. They tend to serve God to be seen by men but behind they have not given themselves to God and his command. Every Christian journey is not smooth as some would say but it is very interesting because at every phase of life we would experience God and see him in different dimensions. At these moments, he wants us to draw closer to him so he can reveal himself to us better. He wants to bond in his relationship with a man so they grow in him and their spirit so they can live above the flesh and live for his pleasure not one’s pleasure first and he will bring our desires to be met.
