That was three years earlier, and the hellhounds had made it perfectly clear they did not want her as a mate. What had changed? Why were they suddenly wanting her in their bed and by their sides?

Alette had bigger problems than the hellhounds wanting her after rejecting her for three years. Faeries were getting bolder in their attacks against dark magic creatures. If nothing was done about it, they would continue their slaughter of innocent men, women, and children. No, Alette couldn't let three hellhounds get in the way of protecting those she loved. There were better things out there for her than just being some arrogant men's mate.

About the author

Morgan Robinson writes paranormal and science fiction romances about sweet monsters, usually of the alien variety. Strong, alpha heroes have always been interesting to her, but there needed to be a sweet and caring side as well. So while the heroes of her stories might be gigantic monsters with horns and scales, they're stuffed full of fluff and sweetness. Her novels contain plenty of steam, fluffy romance, and sometimes more than one MMC.

Morgan lives with her husband and her two dogs. When she's not writing about an alien warrior finding true love with a human, she's being carried in video games, reading lots and lots of romance novels, or rewatching classic slasher films.

I enjoyed this book but it was hard to really get into. I am usually a very fast reader and this book took a week to get through. I did enjoy how the Hellhounds truly loved Alette and keep her at arms length for many years to protect her. Alette is strong willed and has been in a mission to save half breeds. She found her brother and formed a bond with him and his harem. Nothing like drama, passion, twists, turns and every kind of monster you can imagine in one book.

[Rebel]

Words were missing. Errant letters were placed on words that didn't belong. Other than that, it was okay. I didn't like the domination of Alette the way the hellhounds did, too demeaning, bit too much sex. Pages and Pages, I don't mind the sex but I want more story than just sex. Overall I'd give it 3 stars.

This book is "faery", book 3. It was an interesting story and is worth checking out if you want to read this particular kind of kink. Do note, there is a disclaimer at the beginning of the book so do heed that if you find any of the listed potential trigger's troubling to you. I will always love paranormal romances, they just have so many different types, and themes, and never get boring. Robinson delivers a great one!.
