Book three in the Boys of Riverside series takes off where book two leaves off, bringing you an epic love story for the boy Mackenzie Hart did not choose.
All Out of Love, book three in the Boys of Riverside Series- My rating is 4 stars.
There were multiple things going on at the end of the previous book, Love How You Love Me. This book picks up with Graham on Thanksgiving Day. If you’ve been reading the series, then you’ll remember that Graham had left the holiday meal at his house while Mackenzie and Atlas finished the night by going over to Atlas’ home. (That’s all I’m saying because I don’t want to spoil anything!)
After Grahams Thanksgiving excursion, he finds himself in a bar about 30 miles from Riverside. While there with the intention of numbing his mind and drowning his sorrows, he notices a beautiful brunette. At the close of his night, the brunette appears to be having some issues with a guy from the bar and Graham ends up in a physical altercation while helping the girl out. The girl appears to be ungrateful, Graham ends up arrested and everyone goes on their way. The next day, Graham starts a new job and guess who is responsible for his workplace training? Yep! The brunette girl from the bar. Enter Skylar and the difficult start of Graham’s employment…
I can’t speak much on the events that occur in this book without spoiling it for anyone that may not have read the first two books. I CAN tell you that many of the issues that were left from the previous book, get resolved. Of course, new problems arise and the journey of love for Graham does not come without a great emotional beating. Graham is at his lowest, just trying to keep his head above water when he meets Skylar. They start out as frenemies, they don’t hate each other but they don’t know each other and a lot of assumptions between the two are made. I loved watching their relationship evolve. Skylar helped Graham heal, showing him a different perspective about life, in general. And Skylar learned to be confident and experienced a lot of things because of Graham. Fate is questioned a lot, and it throws everything it can at them, trying to keep these two apart.
The author has this ability to make you feel like you know these characters. Like they’re your friends and you’re experiencing things right there with them. The banter between characters was on point, not just between Skylar and Graham but between Graham and his friends, too. The bond that forms between the main characters is beautiful. The plot is carried through this book very, very well. The support characters are just as strong as ever and that plot twist!!! I never saw it coming. I literally dropped my e-reader from my lap and yelled out…like what? How? I even messaged the author to tell her what that plot twist did to me, lol.
I did feel a little let down by the ending. I loved this story for Graham and Skylar, and for Storm, too. But I just felt the very end fell…flat. I’m hoping this isn’t the last of the series. Overall this has been an excellent read and an excellent series. Gracie Graham is one hell of a YA author and I’m definitely a fan.
I received an advance reader copy and am leaving my review voluntarily.
I've said it before, and I will say it again, I absolutely love Graham and I will die on this hill.
The twist caused me to physically gasp.
I am now prepared to forgive GG for the emotional pain inflicted upon me in the previous two entries (Love the Way You Lie, Love How You Love Me) solely because of how much I loved this book.
The main relationship between Graham and Skylar makes this book such easy reading. The key to any successful fictional couple is when both characters hold their own.
Seeing Graham progress from the broken character he became into someone that was finally at peace with himself set a little fire in my soul. A long journey, but one that definitely felt worth it.
One of my favourite recurring narratives throughout all three books has always been the strong connection between Graham and his friends. Jace has been the scene-stealer from day one, and I am thrilled to hear that the fourth book has him at the centre. He is such a good friend, and honestly, it is high time to recognise his status as the breakout character of the series.

After the way the last book ended, I couldn't wait to see what happened to Graham. I really like his relationship with Skylar and how they just couldn't seem to stay away from each other. I had guessed who Crenshaw is so that reveal wasn't that big. What caught me off guard is what happened to Storm. Wasn't expecting that. When everyone's lies and secrets finally come out, there ends up being consequences. I am sad that his story is at an end but am looking forward to the other books.
It was an interesting read, its a slow burn and the main characters evolve more during the story. In the beginning it does take a while to get into the story but afterwards it gets good especially with the bickering from Graham and Skylar.
There was also a major plot twist that leaves you shocked as it was written so well. I did enjoy the book and it has a nice ending.
Graham Scott has a problem, his heart hurts, he's swimming in gambling debt and his game on the field is lacking... but it's nothing a few drinks can't fix. Or so he thinks, the booze isn't going to pay his debts, and that's where his new job comes in... and the beautiful girl tasked with training him!
All of Out of Love was my first read from this author and I have to say that I really enjoyed it and meeting these characters. Because I was new to the series I felt like their were parts of the backstory that evolved from book to book that I missed out on, but the main story line seemed to be completely separate from that and obviously why it's considered a stand alone and be read as such. If anything it will make you curious enough to want to seek out and read the other titles as well, I know it did me. I cannot wait to find the time free time to go back and read the other titles in this series and meet the other wonderful characters that were touched on here and there.
You had to feel for Graham, the poor kid had been dealt a seriously crappy hand by life and he was really struggling to find his way, and I feel like meeting Skylar was his first step towards a better life. They may have detested each other at first, but then they found this easy existence around one another and brought out the best parts of one another. As you read their story you could really see their personal growth, their dependency on one another take hold and also see their relationship naturally progress from enemies to more. The character development in this story is impeccable, they come with a real-feel quality that makes them honestly feel like real friends or family. Once I met them I had a hard time letting them go when the last page came, I got so wrapped up in their world and just wanted to stay there a while longer.
If you enjoy YA romances then I have no doubt you will love this one, it's a sweet, funny, emotional, and captivating story that will touch your heart and leave you with a smile! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
Another great installment in this romance book series. I have always had a soft spot for Graham so I loved seeing him have more of his own story! As this is the third book in a series, I don’t want to spoil anything but I love how the young adults in this series feel real. It feels like they are handling their problems in a realistic way.
It took me a little while to get into this story but once you hit the 30ish percent mark, it starts flying by! Skylar was such an interesting character to follow. I loved her relationship with her brother and the way that relationship really had a lot to do with how she thought about things. Skylar is hearing impaired and the representation seemed really well done.
I also liked seeing Graham’s relationship develop with other characters in this book. There was one character that got introduced in the previous book that I was worried about but everything was perfectly done to me.
This is a series I would recommend to someone who wants to try reading romance but maybe doesn’t want anything spicy because the romances in these books are so well done to me.
This was such a great follow up in this series. Love that we got to “see” Atlas (still my favorite) and Mackenzie + all the guys. They are so funny!
This book picks up where the last one left off. Grahm is jumped and taken to a remote place to pay for his gambling debts by Crenshaw & Frank. He refuses to ask his dad for the money. He ends up offering to work his debts off by working for Crenshaw who agrees. He’s stranded and ends to finding his way to a bar & that’s where the new FMC Skylar comes in. It’s a very wholesome book that has good character development. Poor Grahm has so much pressure on him from his family & secrets he keeps from all his friends. He goes through a lot of maturing and it’s obvious why he had such a difficult time getting over Kenzie as he’s a guy who devotes himself to someone. He doesn’t even know how to be a player ever though females constantly take notice of him. Skylar is a gem. Let’s just say the two seem “fated” to meet. This series is such a nice break from my dark romance books. I hope to see more of this couple in future books.
This is the third book in this awesome series, and this is Graham and Skylar’s story. This story continues straight on from the ending of the second book. Graham is the son of a football legend, and is guaranteed a scholarship, but he is at the lowest point in his life. Graham has been rejected, is debt for gambling, his game on the field is lacking, and he turns to booze to survive. In a bar Graham come to a girls aid but she is not appreciative. When Graham starts a new job, the girl from the bar, Skylar, is the one that is to train him. These two have a hate / love relationship, but she brings the light back into his life. This is a well written story which has family, friendships, a tad angst, emotions, secrets, healing, and romance, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and sweet page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
This is the third book in the boys of Riverside’s story. This picks right up where book 2 leaves off but this time we’re on Graham and later we will meet Skylar who is a major part of this story. There are many words to describe this wholesome, sweet, funny and emotional story. Now they might not begin on the best of terms but as the story continues they’re able to bring out the good and impacting moments.I’ve thought and I would strongly recommend though going and reading the previous 2 books. It will make things clearer as the book goes on. But this book is a stand alone so you don’t have to read the previous two but I would recommend it. Even as there story developed things tried to come between them with a shocking twist they still find there way back and work things out. So go ahead and read it either before or after reading book 1 and 2 but read them.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was so beyond beautiful I waited so long for it and Gracie did not disappoint not one bit. This was my sweet Graham Scott's moment he truly is such a wonderful man I love all out of love so much I would read it over and over again!! It was so nice seeing how he grew in this book and how his confidence came back to him I missed that about him in the first two books. This book is chef's kiss 👌🏼😘 I rate it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but my heart rates it 10⭐ I laughed and cried with this book I also swooned a lot over Graham 😂 of course I would I mean come on his green eyes the fact that he's so sweet and protective. The cover picture is exactly how I would imagine he looked like in my mind I loved the banter between Graham and the leading lady character!! Definitely give all out of love a read it's out now on Kindle unlimited 💗💗🌼🌼🦋
Absolutely loved this book. The story flowed smoothly. The banter between Skylar and Graham was simply amazing. The bonds between the boys were just as strong as always. Adored seeing Graham build a relationship with his brother though I do feel that the conflict with his dad was solved pretty quickly. One of the things I loved most was how mature they were. Even after finding out the truth Skylar didn't create any unnecessary drama and handled the whole issue straight on. They talked it out and moved on. That alone made this an instant five star read. A few of the turns took me by complete surprise and a few scenes even reduced me to tears. Safe to say I am obsessed with this series. Cannot wait for Jace's story. Completely in love with him already.
All Out of Love is the third book in the Boys of Riverside series and picks up where the second leaves off. It features Graham and Skyler story. Graham is still recovering from losing Kenzie to his friend and cousin, Atlas. He is drinking and gambling and ends up owing a debt to a loan shark. He is kidnapped and told they will break his fingers if he doesn’t ask his dad for the 10 K. Since he refuses to ask his dad for anything, he makes a deal to work off the debt doing anything asked of him. He meets Skylar at a bar that serves underage kids. They aren’t interested in each other but they soon find they out they have chemistry.
This was a new to me author so I didn’t read the other two, but I would recommend reading them before this one so you can get to know all the characters and Graham’s backstory. I enjoyed this YA sports romance. The characters were great. I love Graham and Jace. The romance between Graham and Skyler was so sweet and there were also a few twists and turns I wasn’t expecting. This was a great read that I highly recommend.

Graham and Skylar
Graham lifes is short of being easy these days. Rejected, in debts and turning to booze. But there is a new job for him and with it comes a girl that has to train him. Despite being a standalone this book picks up for Graham where the last story ended. His life was never a glorious one, but when he meets Skylar you feel that this could finally be the better turn for him. Even when they first detest each other they slowly learn to exist around each other and turn into a friendship. They clearly make each other better. The characters took a lot of growth throughout the story and even with the twists and turns, the handling was mature and really good. Graham and Skylar got their well deserved happy end.
I read the first two books in this series and had complicated feelings about reading Graham’s story. That said, when I dived in, I started to realise it wasn’t going to go the way I worried about. Instead of being self-absorbed, we got to watch the character grow and change, become the person he was all along, and find love as well. I adored Skylar, and I loved the many twists and turns this book took. There were parts of it that had me sure they wouldn’t work out, parts where I was on the edge of my seat trying to guess how things would go, and that ending, the way it all came together, chef’s kiss, it was amazing and beautiful and I adored it! Very much recommended!
The story picks up exactly where book 2 leaves off. I loved that we didn’t miss any time. The story of Atlas, Mackenzie and Graham continues to unfold. Skylar is a great addiction to storyline. She has her own battles to overcome but readers learn quickly that she is fierce when need be. Her determination shines through several times throughout the book.
I don’t want to give any details of the book because readers may not know how book two plays out. Just know you will love how things end up!
Graham’s book was the perfect way to wrap up the story between him, Atlas and Mackenzie. It had so many twists and turns and things you didn’t see coming, but it was so good and easy to keep up with. I really didn’t expect everything that happened, but as time went on I started to notice some things and once they were confirmed all of the pieces fell into place. Graham and Skylar’s relationship is sweet and a little angsty. I really enjoyed this book just like I did the other 2 in the series.
Probably my favorite book in the series so far! It gives the perspective of Graham and how he was able to move past Mackenzie and find his own happiness, but in this series’ true fashion… the drama and mess was in full force (however, didn’t really seem likely for teenagers, but great nonetheless)!
Skylar was a perfect addition to the series. The banter between them was adorable and her need for independence was admirable.
“It was Skylar’s first kiss, but it didn’t feel like a first kiss to me. It felt like the last one you have before you find someone yo want to kiss for the rest of your life” A rollercoaster of emotions, feelings keep your reading until the end. Skylar and Graham are meant to meet and fall in love even with everything against them. A powerful love story. Gracie Graham at her best.
I enjoyed this story maybe even more than the 2 prior. However, as I was reading it, I kept feeling like I had read it before. I've felt that way with all the books in this series before. The first 2 I figured out the story they remind me of. I can't remember this one. All in all though, it was a mostly clean easy read.
First of all, this was a long one…& I loved every minute. It has forbidden love, enemies to lovers, intrigue, and in the middle an explosive bomb shell of a revelation I had NO idea was coming but was the cherry on top. 10/20 recommend this book & the whole series. I sure hope there is more of this series to come. Graham totally redeems himself in this book. So much growth. This book was perfectly done *chefs kiss*. You get all the feels, ie. the longing, the sweet but heated kisses, all the lovey dovey feels without the super in-depth description. When I’m looking for a YA book THIS is what I am looking for.
CW: lots of F bombs but no sexual descriptions. Fade to black. Talk of underage drinking, gambling, & thugs
Wasn’t great, wasn’t bad. I guess it’s hard to think back to high school and all the feelings involved and changes coming. The surprise reveal was shocking to me, I would not of guessed that or seen it coming. Best of the series so far.
Oh how I love Graham. Graham's story had it all from feeling, to friendship, messed up family, forgiveness and love. Graham and Skylar were so fun to watch their relationship unfold....it was beautiful and challenging. This author has won a reader for life.
Absolutely love Skylar and Graham!! I loved how easy this was to read and how hard it was to put down. Honestly was floored by the twist!! Really great 5 star read!! Loved loved loved!
