This book was as witty and comical as the first. Brendan was more kickass in this one and got even more enemies. These enemies were not unfortunately taken by his father, so I'm looking forward to the next book and see what will happen. I recommend this book for all who enjoy a bit of funny dialogue and a crazy narrator!

I really enjoyed this book! The action started fairly quickly and held my attention all the way through. I also enjoyed the author/narrator's footnotes and sidenotes in the story; they were often very amusing.

Both books made me laugh along with the pure enjoyment of reading it. It will be recommended to the young adults in my life, as well as the adults who are still young.

This book was witty, funny, and adventurous! It's not just a fantasy/adventure story- it has characters that most readers can relate to and has serious and then laugh-out-loud moments! Anyone who wants to read a book worth their time should read this (though I'd recommend reading The Prince of Neither Here Nor There first...)!
