Between Ghosts is a collection of eight poems referencing death and the Bible. Poems include Funeral Dance, To a Hymn Book, Ode to Big Trend, Stick Elegy, The Blue Sylvia, Like Mercy, Prayer, and A. Machine. The poems were printed and designed for the Center for Book Arts 2010 Chapbook Competition. The text is letterpress printed and set in Akkurat, with illustrations from Amber McMillan. 11 pages. loose sheets held together with twine. 9 x 6.5 inches.

About the author

Terrance Hayes is the author of six poetry collections, including American Sonnets for My Past and Future Assassin, How to Be Drawn, and Lighthead, which won the National Book Award. He is a MacArthur Fellow and teaches at the University of Pittsburgh.
