Love that the authors put together this postpartum doula guide. There is a lot of rich and valuable content in here for those looking to start their own practice or generally provide support to new mothers. Written like a textbook.
My two critical pieces of feedback:
1. There are a lot of typos and grammar errors throughout the manual. It was self published, so this is to be expected. I was a bit distracted by this at times though.
2. The guide was published in 2014, and some of the content is no longer relevant. E.g. printed brochures/papers, newspaper ads, answering the landline telephone, etc. It could likely use a refresh on some of the content since it’s outdated. The meat of the book is still applicable today though.
