Lord, there is so much white in this book you'd think it was a TED conference. I don't know about you, but in my house the furniture is either shades of rust, grease, mud, or blood.
If you like collecting knick knacks and displaying them in your living space, then this book is probably not for you! (I'd recommend Life of Bowerbird though) if you are a fan of clean and bright minimalist spaces with a sort of country vintage flair then you just might orgasm a little when you flip through this book. it's divided into design elements (colour, texture, scent and taste, etc) which are great for getting ideas (also text if you feel like reading) and there's there are a few tutorials scattered throughout. Also, the author seems to really love blue checker boxes.
