Broken: The Memory of Solaris

Rate this book
Got Anything? This gorgeous 112 page full color book is the result of five years of work. It started in 2002 with an idea for a medieval era fantasy campaign set in space after the destruction of the world Solaris. The book is laid out as a scroll floating through the void with full color backgrounds on every page depicting the survivors and the environments they now live in. Characters deal with limited resources, recycling, cold, lack of air and other hazards of the void using magic, psionics and common sense. This d20 campaign setting featuring new classes and prestige classes, new feats, spells, magic items and monsters. There are a slew of NPCs and a couple of short adventures to kick start your exploration into space without technology and only some dirt and spells to keep you going. Welcome to the void.

This was a fun book to write. The series started with a question. If you destroyed a planet, completely, like the Death Star does, could anyone survive? Even for minutes, drifting in space or sitting on a rock? Yes, I think one in a million, or maybe one in a hundred million, people could survive. Now, if they had magic, and enough air to gasp out a spell, could they keep surviving? Welcome to Broken.
