The event is almost over. Before Raven lies a new ball of questions that he cannot unravel alone. His acquaintance with Niyara makes it clear that the universe is not only a boundless bunch of galaxies but an entire system of thousands of servers connected by a network of teleports, inhabited by many different civilizations. Raven is aware that he is far from undergoing one such trip himself. Instead, he decided to focus on new techniques, old friends, and tasks that still weigh heavily on his shoulders. Trying to complete one such task that he had received from Arrey, he finds himself involved in a conflict that puts him against an old nemesis and a cult. This time, their plan extends to the Krutan Kingdom. In the fight for the truth, Raven will, whether he likes it or not, learn many dangerous secrets.
This book delved even deeper into the mystery and now we get to interact with players from other servers. I love that Raven is not so overpowered that he can waltz through everything, well at least without a bunch of luck. Good use of skills and interesting development mechanics leave you excited to see where the story goes next. This is a builder book and expect the next book will show all the things this is building towards, or maybe Raven could just make some more enemies. Could go either way. Warning: Explicit language.
No longer does insane plot armour guide our MC. Mature approach suits Will with several setbacks and some much needed world building this story is definitely moving places in the last 2-3 books. Looking forward to reading the next in the series.
