Loved it
Cynthia old butt needed to be seriously check mated. And she got what she deserved . Jasmine finally got her man thanks to Danni meddling. She needed to get closure with Max and he needed to find his worth and be truthful that he was a grown man and know that he was loved despite having money. Can't wait for Zariahs story

Say want you want about that woman, but Cynthia is a force to be reckoned with. Kinda love her and her fierceness.
Okay, on to the story. Oh that meddling, matchmaker that calls herself Danni is something. Girl needs to be careful. She messes with the wrong person and it won’t end well with her. Though, it worked out well for Max and Jazmine.
Even if it was due to Danni’s sneaky doing, it was good to see the two get back together. When will people learn, a relationship is all about the people in the relationship. Not them, their psychiatrist, their house clean, their grandma, the wife of the guy they do business with and their mail man. That is not how it works. 🤦🏽♀️
Max and Jazmine were in love and were ready to take on the world together. Then here comes the matriarch of Max’s family and forced the two apart to make things work out in her favor. Truth, how Jazmine handled the whole thing is much better then what my Petty Betty self would have handled it. Homegirl here would have caused a scene and made people cry. I digress… It may have taken years to get to where they need to be, but they made it there and it is a wonderful thing.
My biggest cons are there were too many POVs in this novella. Danni, Jazzy, Max, Zariah, and Cynthia? It was all too much.

I loved everything about this whole story. From beginning to end. This is a must-read that you won't be disappointed. Now I can't wait to read about Zariah.

It was time for a new AAMBC Review, and we were excited to read a familiar Author. Exposed: A Club Sugar Novel by Phoenix Williams. The title sounded intriguing, so we sat down and began to read. Having read Phoenix Williams's work before, this was a departure from her Queens of Beasts series and takes us back to her Foolin' Around days.
Exposed: A Club Sugar Novel began with Jasmine Hogan (Jazzy), "flying in a deathtrap on a private jet. "Life as she knew it was over." Jazzy was leaving DC to go home to Chicago after life threw her a curveball.
"Daddy said never fall in love with someone that thought they were better than you. Never try to make a life with a weak person." Accused of being a gold-digging whore, Jazzy's friends try to lift her spirit by taking her to Club Sugar.
Club Sugar is a Sex Club where your wildest fantasies come true. Sitting in the suburbs of Chicago in a gorgeous mansion. Enter at your own risk and wear a mask. The entrance has two massive red doors. From the elegant foyer, you can find your darkest fantasies. The atmosphere promotes sexual freedom, where power players leave high rises in the loop and find all their desires.

Exposed: A Club Sugar was an easy read, fast-paced, entertaining, and mysterious. This book is highly recommended if you are into urban erotica or if you enjoy whips, chains, and other toys. Our only gripe was the transitions were not formulated, and the storyline was too short. But since this was her short-reads series that was to be expected even if it was a bit disappointing. Our rating was a 4/5 with one typo.
