First and foremost.......DUAL VIRGIN ROMANCE!!!!! *fanfare* *dual virgin romance dance with a big grin on my face* *more fanfare* YES!!!!!!
This is the Nichole Rose I love! I didn't forget the last book, "Ice Storm" and how angry I was at her for ruining the book. It feels like she took the h's brother's friend/h trope and did it right, course correcting all the places she went wrong in "Ice Storm". The hero is a virgin!! The hero is NOT a pussy, but an alpha who knows he wants the heroine and tells his friend(her brother) Nash, right after their adorable meet cute that he likes his sister and thinks she is gorgeous. AND he does not look for an OW (like the "hero" in "Ice Storm"), he actually sticks to the heroine like glue and he is sweet and unwavering in his feelings for her, not even a thought of an OW..exactly how it should be!! I liked that Nichole Rose gave us assurance at the beginning of the book, that the hero is not a man whore, even better he is a virgin and that he told the truth to his friend that he is going to date and be with his sister and to just get on board, because it is happening! It set the tone for the rest of book. He did not waste time, did not lie, did not use the stupid bro code to ghost the heroine, all of these stupid excuses used in "Ice Storm" were thrown out with the trash in this one. Noah is in the car, looking through the cafe window to see his goddess and future mother of his babies (yes he says that in his inner monologue), right after he meets her talking to her brother on the phone telling him he found his one and that he knows better than that when it comes to women (him and Nash never fucked around, focusing on their career.) YES!!! *Happy dance* I am so glad and relieved! Now I want Nash's book STAT!!

Noah is on the Silver Spoon Falcon's team, so since he relocated, his buddy/former teammate, asks him for a solid, to look out for his sister and giving him intel on what she is up to! This is so corny and sweet I love it!
Noah calls Nash, to scold him on never telling him his sister is gorgeous and that he needs to be ready, because he is all hers now, and he needs to get with the program. Noah, and Aspen's brother have such great banter, and Nash trusts Noah with her. Noah even tells him that he knows why he sent him, because he knows that he is virgin and will not fuck around. But one look at Aspen, hearing her sass back to him and he leaves the cafe with a goofy grin on his face! Aspen is his and he is not letting go! This big greek god, cinnamon roll, is patient, loving, protective, growly at others in a cute way but never to her and is just so perfect. I want my own Noah!!
Aspen is a feisty, boss bitch, she is curvy, takes no shit, and always sasses back. She is independent and lets you know it but there is a vulnerability to her that is sweet and endearing. She fights tooth and nail to be independent, not for her, but for her brother's sake! Her brother raised her since she was a tween, since their parents died in a car crash and she was in the hospital with severe injuries. He put aside a career in hockey to take care of her and now yes, he has a career in hockey, but as long as she lives with him, Nash will fuss over her and be all big brother in protective mode, never venturing out to live a life of his own. She feels responsible that he has no life of his own, so she took charge, moved to Silver Spoon Falls and shows her brother that she can take care of herself with a sprinkle of sass! She is not hard headed and sasses back to Noah or her brother but not in a bitchy way that would put us off. If she were a bitch I would not like her, but I love Aspen to pieces! She is also hilarious in her comebacks, I feel like she is the kinda girl I would be friends with! Women/heroines can be strong, no bullshit, sassy, and smart asses, WITHOUT being a bitch. Aspen is a good example of that! She also learned that she had to put her foot down, when men passing by to get coffee and pastries flirt and then she tells them she is not interested, and in return they insult her, so for a curvy girl, she had to build thick skin to let these comments roll of her shoulders. She was never interested because there was only one man that would do! Noah!
There is a break in and she is shot at! The perps missed, but she ran into the arms of Noah without hesitation and we get to see Dillon the sheriff and Cormac Giant!! He is one of my faves and now I want to read "The Bodyguard" again, with him and his mischief Bella (pssst....also a dual virgin romance!!!)
I loved Noah and Aspen's love story, and it feels like "Ice Storm" was a giant fluke. I hope we get our good ol' Nichole Rose back with her sweet, safe, NO MAN WHORE alpha's who love their woman and go after them as soon as they see them going all..."MY WOMAN!! MINE!!"
I am hoping for more dual virgin romances from Nichole Rose, she writes them so well, and I always do a happy dance when I read them! This was sweet, there is sass, a mystery to be solved, laugh out loud moments and a strong couple you love and you root for their happiness HEA! *sigh* We need more Noahs! Whenever Aspen sasses and pushes back, he just pulls her in his iig strong arms, sighs and says how beautiful she is..what can she do but melt in his embrace...*swoon*... He NEVER wavered and was patient with her.
Her sass turned him on to the point where he wanted so badly to put his baby into her *wink wink* oh yeah, the breading kink is here in full force and I am here for it! The sex is HOT because you believe in there love for each other, it is there. In general, you can have the most erotic sex scene, it will never be a turn on if there is no love between the characters. You can have the sweetest, whisper of a kiss, and sweet words said by the hero in the heroines ear, and when the love is there, THAT is one of the most erotic scenes that no sex scene can compete with. So a sex scene with our couple in love, is explosive and just hot!!! We get that with Noah and Aspen and it was a delight!
I loved it! It was really good, and in my reread faves list for sure! I hope and pray Nichole Rose's next books will be sweet, with strong alphas that go after their woman, caveman style, just like this one!

Aspen just wants to live her life and not have her brother always overprotective or worried she has a tiny secret that she's going to buy the shop she's working in and be co-owner!
She meets Noah, who she thinks is sent by her brother to babysit her, but he already said he isn't he's sprung right from the start! He wants to spend time with her be her rock when things hit the fan when someone shoots at her.
The romance is cute. The relationship with the guys is amazing. I can't wait to see who's next.

Soooo we're back in Texasss. I don't have the words to describe how cute I think the Silver Spoons Falls NR+LR universe is. ☺️ This one was so cute and a light refreshing read being able to experience the connection between Aspen and Noah.
Aspen (h): Fearless smartass of a Barista/small business owner who stumbles headfirst into the center of Noah's universe when her overprotective older brother Nash asks him to check in/ check up on her since he lives halfway across country. She's a tiny little badass who knows her mind, what her aspirations are, and how she wishes to be treated by others. As a plus sized girl, she's had to develop a strong sense of self and toes the line perfectly between being a witty smartass and not being the kind of jaded bitchy mean girl that society sometimes can force out of women who don't take shit.
Noah (H): The newest resident himbo of Silver Spoon and a total overgrown teddy bear. He gets transferred to the AHL after a knee injury and runs over to the coffee shop to check in on a teammate's younger sister. One look at Aspen and he knows he's found his forever girl. He's a little clueless and the perfect example of bumbling pretty boy himbo since he's so inexperienced but it was so endearing to watch him try to show Aspen his genuine intentions. Noah is such an amazing picture of an emotionally safe and mature man that is a deserving match to a Nichole Rose heroine. Also the tattoo that his teammate Atlas dares him to get in Mexico 😂💀💀
It was really nice to read a best friend's younger sister type of romance that wasn't nauseatingly chauvinistic. Noah really handled the whole "Holy shit, I'm into my best friend's sister" situation really maturely and he did it right from jump by calling Nash immediately to let him know how things were going to go down and reminding Nash of what kind of man he was and what his intentions with Aspen were. He basically said the relationship was Aspen's to decide on if she wanted him back and for Nash to get with the fucking program. 😆👏🏾👏🏾
“This is me asking if you're going to have a problem with me dating your sister." I don't ask for permission. That's not his to give. It's her choice who she dates. But he's a friend. I owe him a heads-up, at the minimum. I don't want his approval to be one of the things standing between us when she's already suspicious of me. The last thing I need is one more obstacle standing in the way.”
“Give me a little credit here. You know me better than that." I don't fuck around. In fact, I've never fucked around. He's one of a handful of people who knows that. It's one of the reasons we bonded the few weeks we played together. He didn't party, and neither did I.
We were in the minority. Most of the guys on the team were more than happy to take a different bunny to bed every night. Nash and I were always the two who caught hell because we weren't fucking everything that moved. ”
What I loved:
❖The dual virgins was done in such a lovely and believable way!! Nothing was contrived or seemed disingenuous. Both Aspen and Noah didn't force themselves to have sex with others while venturing into adulthood because they felt like they needed to just "try sex". They just weren't interested in any other people up until that point and were very focused on pursuing their dreams to have anything meaningless. Both had the same perspective on sex and shared the same values around sex without sounding "preach-y". That was super sweet but also nice to read. ☺️
❖Aspen was such a smartass who kept Noah on his toes but she really did have a soft cinnamon roll heart and was so fiercely loyal to those she loved like her brother Nash and her boss Jack
❖Aspen's no nonsense approach to handling unwanted attention from male customers while knowing that most of the time attention from men is really just a cheap manipulation tactic that has ABSOLUTELY NO BEARING ON HER WORTH. She knows that sometimes men compliment you to make themselves look better and to not take it to heart when that shit goes sideways when they can't handle rejection. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
One of my favorite Aspen quotes is such an unfortunately true adage of life honestly:
“Rejected men are the worst. They do an about-face fast enough to cause whiplash. One minute, you're a goddess. The next, they were just doing you a favor because no one would ever possibly date someone your size. Ugh.”
❖How scared she was to take the leap with Noah, not knowing if she would come out the other side but still jumping in head first with him.
❖Noah's relentless pursuit of Aspen while respecting her need for a few boundaries around her brother. He knew immediately that she was his future but did his absolute best to assuage any fears around their impending relationship & her brother while handling her polite rejection of his advances the first few times. CAN YOU SAY HEALTHY MASCULINITY 😗👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
❖Brick the cat and the nod to the whole universal cat delivery system was so cute
❖The Aspen & Nash sibling relationship. Both were just trying to conquer their dreams while holding each other closely. They really only had each other left in the world for so long and would always put the other first since they've lost so much while so young. 😢

Please tell me Nash is at least getting his own story. Hell, maybe even Jack too since he's such a loveable Himbo and just so silly and absentminded. Dude is completely clueless for a billionaire but it was kinda entertaining ngl. He needs an assistant fr.😉

Noah is such an amazing picture of an emotionally safe and mature man that is a deserving match to a Nichole Rose heroine. Also the tattoo that his teammate Atlas dares him to get in Mexico 😂💀💀
It was really nice to read a best friend's younger sister type of romance that wasn't nauseatingly chauvinistic. Noah really handled the whole "Holy shit, I'm into my best friend's sister" situation really maturely and he did it right from jump by calling Nash immediately to let him know how things were going to go down and reminding Nash of what kind of man he was and what his intentions with Aspen were. He basically said the relationship was Aspen's to decide on if she wanted him back and for Nash to get with the fucking program. 😆👏🏾👏🏾

What I loved:
❖The dual virgins was done in such a lovely and believable way!! Nothing was contrived or seemed disingenuous. Both Aspen and Noah didn't force themselves to have sex with others while venturing into adulthood because they felt like they needed to just "try sex". They just weren't interested in any other people up until that point and were very focused on pursuing their dreams to have anything meaningless. Both had the same perspective on sex and shared the same values around sex without sounding "preach-y". That was super sweet but also nice to read. ☺️
❖Aspen was such a smartass who kept Noah on his toes but she really did have a soft cinnamon roll heart and was so fiercely loyal to those she loved like her brother Nash and her boss Jack
❖Aspen's no nonsense approach to handling unwanted attention from male customers while knowing that most of the time attention from men is really just a cheap manipulation tactic that has ABSOLUTELY NO BEARING ON HER WORTH. She knows that sometimes men compliment you to make themselves look better and to not take it to heart when that shit goes sideways when they can't handle rejection. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
One of my favorite Aspen quotes is such an unfortunately true adage of life honestly:

This was an amazing instalove romance. It was a short, well written story with a great pace. It had both an interesting storyline and a lot of steam. Noah and Aspen had an instant connection and I loved them together. It was just my type of story and I didn’t want it to end.

SWOOOOON 🩷🩷🩷 I absolutely freaking LOVED it!!!! Noah and Aspen were perfect for each other! True soulmates 🥰 The smexy times were soooo dang HOT! The suspense was amazing! I love the side characters! OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Noah mets Aspen when he comes to SSF to play for the Falcons. Noah knows Aspen's brother Nash Pucking Dirty they were on the same team. Aspen's brother Nash asked Noah to watch over his sister when he was traded to the Falcons. Noah finds Aspen at a little bakery she is planning on buying and doesn't want her brother to know about. Aspen has been putting money aside to make payments on the coffee shop and will soon have it paid. Aspen tells Noah that she knows her brother Nash sent him there to babysit her. When Noah calls Nash he lets his friend know that he's not going to spy on his sister because he wants her. Aspen knows her brother Nash worries about her he raised her since she was eleven their parents were killed in a car accident and she was with them. Aspen spend a lot of time in the hospital, Nash was suppose to go for tryouts for the NHL, but didn't. When Noah finds out that Aspen wakes up early to come to the coffee shop to bake he agrees to met her in the morning. Both Noah and Aspen don't get any sleep later that night. Aspen decides to head to the bakery a little early. While Noah is on his way to the bakery he gets a phone call from Aspen, someone broke into the coffee shop. When Noah hears something crash to the ground he realizes it was Aspen he tells her to run. Noah's coming down the street when he sees glass flying out of the bakery and realizes someone is shooting at Aspen. Aspen runs towards Noah and then jumps into his truck where he leaves and heads to see the sheriff. Aspen goes over her story several times for Dillon Dillon's Heart before she is left to go home. Aspen's boss Jack Jack's Devotion agrees with Noah that she needs to stay home. Noah insists Aspen come to stay at his house. When Noah takes Aspen to her place to grab a few things they end up in her bed with him pleasuring her. After Aspen and Noah watch a movie he takes her to bed, she tells him she loves him and he tells her he loves her. Noah and Jack, Aspen's boss don't want her to come into work until the suspects are caught. Noah takes Aspen to practice with him so that he can watch over her. When Dillon shows up at the practice he has a photo of the two suspects running the morning of the break-in. Aspen confirms it's the two men and she recognizes one who was in the coffee shop the other day. After practice Noah and Aspen make love. When Noah leaves for an out of state game Cormac watches over Aspen. Aspen gets bored so she call Jack and asks him to send her over things so she can bake. Cormac helps carry the bakery items in when they arrive. Aspen is busy going through things when she hears her name and knows it's not Cormac. When Aspen turns she finds one of the suspects and wonders where Cormac is. Aspen tries to talk to the suspect so that Cormac can come, she finds out why he did what he did. Soon Cormac shows up and when he tells the suspect to step away from Aspen he doesn't he takes a step towards her. Cormac shot the suspect and then calls Dillon. Noah has been trying to get a hold of Aspen and knows something his wrong. Noah finds out from ColterLeia's Playmaker who found out from Razor Razor's Flamethat Cormac shot someone. If no-one knows what happened Noah knows he can call Ryker Ryker's Reward or find out from Wren Oral Arguments. Noah calls coach and is on his way out of the hotel when he thinks he sees Aspen walk in. Aspen walks in the hotel and asks Noah if he knows that Cormac has a private jet and it gets there a lot faster than a bus. Noah tells her she better explain to him what happened, so she does. Noah takes Aspen to his room, she lets him know that Cormac didn't kill the suspect. Aspen tells Noah that she talk to her brother Nash and he knows everything. Aspen asks Noah where he was going and he tells her he was going to fly home, he realizes something. Noah tells Aspen he wants a future with her and he's done with hockey when his contract is up at the end of the year. Aspen doesn't want him to give up his career in hockey but Noah tells her he's heart isn't into it anymore. Aspen finish telling Noah that both suspects are in custody and will be facing charges. Noah tells her he loves her and Aspen tells him she loves him. Three years later, Noah and Aspen have a two year old son Owen and she's pregnant, they both think it's a girl. Aspen moved to Silver Spoon Falls two years ago and is ready to buy half of the coffee shop she works at. She’s keeping it a secret from her brother, Nash who is very protective of her. When she was 11 she was in a car accident that took their parents and injured her. Since then she thinks her brother has put his life on hold to take care of her. He didn't go into the NHL draft the year of the accident and has been there for her in all things. He waited a few years and had to work extra hard to get into the NHL. She thinks if she starts living her life away from him he will start living for himself and stop worrying about her always.
Nash asks his friend Noah to keep an eye on Aspen when he moves to Silver Spring to play on the AHL team in town.
Aspen is a a beautiful curvy girl who is sassy and independent. So of course Noah is instantly attracted to her and doesn't hide it. She is use to guys hitting on her and her turning them down. She has never been attracted to any of them. But Noah is someone she has had a crush on for a long time. When he says he is there to check on her for Nash she is not thrilled. There is some pushback from her but Noah is not taking no for an answer to his ask for a date. They decide that he will join her one morning to watch her bake her famous scones.
When Aspen gets to the coffee shop she finds two men going through her boss and owner, Jack’s office. She calls Noah who is on his way, he tells her to stay hidden but she knocks over something while trying to get a look at the intruders. The men come out of the office and one of them shoots at her when he sees her.
Noah gets there as she is running out of the shop. He grabs her and takes her to the police, Sheriff Dillion takes her statement and he has an idea of who one of the men is.
To protect her Noah has her and her cat come stay with him. Danger brings out loving feelings and Aspen gives into to her attraction to Noah. He takes care of her a few times, and when they finally have their first time it’s sweet and sexy, dual virgins! With breeding kink.
Noah hires Cormac to protect her while he has to travel for an away game. One of the bad guys comes to the house and asks Aspen to help vouch for him with the police, he says the other guy blackmailed him into trying to rob the coffee shop. Instalove heaven!
I know it’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but it is mine! Who doesn’t love an obsessed alpha man? Noah takes one look at Aspen and decides she is going to be his baby mama ;-). I love how he isn’t deterred whatsoever by her initial reluctance. For him there is no other option than making Aspen his. And can you believe it? We get a professional hockeyplayer that isn’t a manwhore and even better still a virgin! But he isn’t shy about seggs in any way…he just wanted to wait for the one. Now that he found her, phew! Grab a cold drink because you’re going to need it!
Since I love romantic suspense I really appreciated the suspense and action built into the story. It kept me turning the pages even faster. I love a good damsel in distress situation 😅
This was the first book I read in the series and had no difficulty following along. It can be read as a complete standalone. Im definitely going to check out the other books in the series now and hope they are as enjoyable as this one!

Holy yum. This was amazing. I smiled and laughed and swooned so much while reading this. This is why I love Nichole's books. They absolutely bring me joy. Noah was crazy about Aspen aka Dimples. He's sent to keep an eye on her and falls head over heels for her. I loved the banter between them and also each of them with her brother, Nash. Aspen was a sassy badass. She didn't take any crap from anyone and gave as good, if not better, than she got. Nichole's heroes and heroines are always the best. The drama was so well written and I loved where Nichole took it and how it resolved. I mena, Giant was involved. End of story. There's another favorite character. He was awesome in this and so was Dillon. Then we have the hockey team. I love them all! The ending was so sticky sweet. The whole flipping story was utter perfection.

Back to Silver Spoon Falls and the Falcons for another amazing addition to the series. This book was so sweet, steamy, funny and mixed with a little bit of danger, the perfect combination! Noah was a man who didn’t give up and was protective with a side of possessive. Aspen was a spitfire who wrapped her insecurities and anxieties in a spine of steel and all the sass you love. She made him work and prove to her just enough that you cheered her on, but still having the insta-love trope we all love from Nichole Rose. The cameos from past characters really added the story and I’m hoping there’s some more stories coming surrounding the other side characters. In true Nichole fashion there’s insta-love, OTT possessive/protective men, breeding kink, double virgins, HEA and the sweetest epilogue 3 years later. Can’t wait to read the next in the series!

This book is obviously super sexy and very steamy but it is also very, very sweet and poignant. It has plenty of big gestures, over the top instalove and big personalities, but these are all complimented with the small details, thoughtful words and true love.
A fantastic addition to the Falcons series and we get to catch up with some Silver Spoon family too! All on Kindle Unlimited.

I loved this book so much! It has everything - instalove, curvy & feisty h, OTT alpha, some suspense and definite steam!!! Aspen is desperately trying to show her brother that she is carving out her own life far away from him. He is rather overprotective and has sent a former teammate, Noah to look after Aspen. Noah takes one look at Aspen and falls hard.
Aspen fears that she is just a favor that Noah is fulfilling to her brother so she refuses Noah’s advances at first. Then trouble finds Aspen and Noah steps up to care for Aspen.
This book made me laugh and had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the characters and all of their banter. Nichole does and excellent job bringing these characters to life.

Aspen works as a barista at a coffee shop in Silver Spoon Falls and away from her overbearing NHL big bother. Noah is playing for the Silver Spoon Falcons and an old buddy of her brother. He should keep an eye on her, but when he sees Aspen for the first time he just knows she will be his wife and the mother of all of his babies 😉 Now he has just to convince Aspen that he isn't a spy for the brother and to keep her safe from danger that lurks in Silver Spoon. These two were so dang cute. Aspen moved to Texas to get away from her over protective brother. She was working on taking over a coffee shop but hiding it from her brother for fear that he would freak out. Noah just came to play hockey in the same city and as a favor to Aspen's brother, agrees to check in on her. He had no idea that he would fall so hard and fast for her. They both get the shock of their life when he walks into the coffee shop. I loved their banter and connection. We get some action when there is an attempted robbery and such a fun HEA.

Aspen is no shy wallflower. I love her, she is feisty and stands strong. She has some unresolved feelings about her older brother raising her after their parents died. She adores him but she wants him to live his life for himself now. Noah is friends with her brother and does him a favor by checking in on his sister. That all ends when he spots her. He falls like a ton of bricks and his confidence in his feelings is so attractive. He doesn't hesitate to back Aspen, keeping her secrets like a vault. This was a lovely, quick read. I need more Silver Spoon books asap!

Oh my gosh another home run (yes I’m aware wrong sport reference hehe) from Nichole Rose! I LOVE her hockey romances. This story was so cute and so funny too. Aspens feistiness cracked me up and I love how Noah took it all in stride and it just made him fall more in love with her. Absolute adored this couple!

Another great book from this author. I loved Aspen and her independence and the love she had for her brother. Noah's honesty and directness was great and the fact that he didn't hide his feelings was perfect. A great story from start to finish.

Survival
Aspen and Noah's story was an emotional and fun read. Both surprised by each other. Jack driving Aspen crazy and him enjoying her being a smartass. Both finding that happiness come in different forms. Aspen leaning that being a survivor doesn't mean living your best life.
