Fun book with a cool list of activities for all Kentuckians to get done in their lifetime. Several I had never heard of and I am a native who has lived in state my entire life.

Just wish there were a few more details/background for each item.

I will be marking some of these off my list this spring.

This was a fun short book to read. It points out 100 of the best spots to visit & things to experience in order to have a, “true KY experience,” & get the most out of your time in the state. Great ideas. Several things I’ve done & several more that I want to do.

A quick thumbing through will tell you whether or not you want to buy this book. I purchased it because it's a good general what-to-do list for the days when we're stumped, but want to do something in Kentucky. Weekend trips, day trips, and general "let's go" road trips can all be accommodated by this book. You'll still need details on the locations, hours of operation, cost, etc, so this is NOT a comprehensive travel guide. Rather, it's a jumping off point for random adventures in the bluegrass. It's well-written, reads quickly, and encourages you to expand your horizons. There are some gems inside not generally featured in travel literature for Kentucky, which is also a fresh aspect!

Cute list, but I was expecting something a little more than just a list of items. Like perhaps tales of how the author did these things, or suggestions as to how to do them. All this book contains is a list,a few quotes and pictures. Would have made a perfect blog post, but not a book.
