Finally, a good book on Slovenia! Less detail on its history but very informative on the people and cultures of modern Slovenia. Great pictures and side boxes on pages with more in depth information.

So I met this guy online. He seems pretty great so far but he is also obese and I'm not sure what to do with that. It's not a deal breaker yet but it's an issue that is there. But the important thing is that he's Slovenian, and I decided to get an edge on dating a Slovenian by reading this book here about Slovenia. This is quite an informative book about Slovenia because it's for older juveniles. Slovenia might be the best country in the world. It has high literacy rates, twenty percent of it is a nature reserve, it has beaches, mountains, garlic soup, and three completely separate old men who give you presents between December fifth and January first. Slovenians enjoy a wide range of activities and sports and some of them place in the Olympics. Slovenia has picturesque castles looking over stunning blue lakes. It has accordions. It has a prehistoric flute. It also has a high suicide rate, fraught history, and imports eighty percent of its food. Now I know quite a bit of Slovenia facts and I can continue using them to show off to a Slovenian guy with a cute face and dual citizenship.
