Nothing is more cherished than a mate, no treasure more valued or sought after than the perfect match. With a glance at Summer’s picture, Jubal recognizes not only his intended, but a submissive whose body cries out for discipline. There’s no question about claiming her, and when he spots her entering an exclusive BDSM club, he believes it’s Fate. Summer can’t get past the foyer without a master—and that master will be him.

At the sound of Jubal’s voice, she knows he’s the one, the man she’s been looking for, the master who can demand her devotion. Any other time she’d gladly surrender her trust and her heart, as well as her body, but tonight it’s an urgent task and not the search for pleasure that’s brought her to the club.

She’s been warned about dragons. And even believing Jubal might be just such a supernatural being doesn’t lessen the ecstasy she experiences in his hands. His carnal discipline and heady torment satisfy her—even as they force her to choose between risking it all or not.

This is the 9th installment in the 'Supernatural Bonds' series. Not having read the other books in this series I'm not able to really tell if this is a standalone or if I would have benefited from reading the previous books.

Taking that into consideration this is a quick read hot and heavy on the fantasy BDSM erotica and light on storyline. If I can get past the premise that a normal red blooded girl who really didn't dabble in BDSM becomes the perfect sub (although still bratty) to a man to the point she'll do just about anything for and to him then this was a fairly good read.

I am one who has issues with books that portray BDSM as an addictive drug that throws out one's morals and inhibitions without just cause. Jubal's character was believable and actually written as I'd think a dragon shapeshifter would. Summer, on the other hand, not so much. It is for that reason I didn't rate this book any higher than I did and actually if there was a 2.5 I would have.

Hot and erotic read to read if you like the sudden meeting between two individuals that results in voyeuristic and exhibitionalist BDSM play at a club that will curl your toes.

Have read the previous 8 books in the series so no idea if that hindered my enjoyment of this particular book. But my thoughts can be summed as "We get it you're a dragon you don't have to keep on about it". That said, dragons made a nice change to weres

Shorter than previous stories but still engaging to the end. Jubal seeks her out as she seeks to retrieve her friend's star ball to save his life.

Summer was looking for a master, someone who would recognize the submissive in her and be everything she hoped for. Summer also wanted to help her friend Kei, a Kitsune, who had his talisman stolen. However, once Summer saw Jubal she knew without a doubt that he was the master she had been searching for.

Likewise, Jubal wanted Summer after seeing her picture and having her sister Lyra promise to introduce the two. Jubal, a Dragon, had to find her before any of the other dragons did especially since they were also looking for their mates. Knowing that Summer was into the BDSM lifestyle, Jubal helped her gain entrance to a private party by declaring himself her master.

Dragon Master is the sequel to Dragon Games and can be read as a stand-alone but I would recommend that you read Dragon Games first because it sets the stage for Dragon Master. The characters were interesting and the chemistry between Summer and Jubal was electric. Summer was the perfect submissive to Jubal’s Dom and his cousin Nisien, also a Dragon, helped to keep the story interesting. The back story of finding the kitsune Kei’s talisman was a nice touch because it helped give dimension to the story, and helped introduce Summer to the supernatural world. Of course, since the story was about Summer finding her master and Jubal finding his mate, and they were both into the BDSM lifestyle, the author allowed the reader to take a glimpse into what those living this lifestyle experience.

Even though BDSM is woven throughout the story and it is the main theme, there was more to this story than just that. Dragon Master was a love story about two people coming together to form a lasting relationship built on mutual trust and affection, Jubal needed his mate just as much as Summer needed to be dominated and loved by her master.

Dragon Master was definitely an interesting story and if you’re into this type of lifestyle or are curious about it, then you should pick up Dragon Master.

Dragons love treasure but nothing is more precious to them than their mate. Jubal knew Summer was his mate and his perfect submissive when his sister presented a picture of her. Jubal knew he would find a way to meet his mate. He finds Summer trying to obtain entrance to a BDSM club for which she needs to be accompanied by a Master. Jubal helps her gain entrance, he will be her Master for the night and all nights although Summer has yet to discover she has met her mate.

Bookswagger Marcia: Three Crowns, swagger jacked, decent read. I enjoyed Dragon Master the story was a good quick read. Even though this was book nine in the series I was not lost in anyway nor did I feel lost by jumping in the series so late. I liked the hero Jubal even though in the scene directly before he met the heroine, he made me think the book had added a villain he was so aggressive, but hey I liked it, a unique twist. I would read the other books in this series, I am curious now. This is a novella but there is still a plot, you see the h/h in the BDSM club, saving Summers friend and at Jubal’s place. I know those who love their BDSM stories to stick to the strict code, this is not that book, Summer feels safe with the hero right away, she trusts him immediately, it is a paranormal novella so if those elements annoy you…Don’t do it friend, this is not for you. If you are like me and you love the fantasy of it all then I think you will enjoy Dragon Master.

Summer has to help her friend. She finds out that he is a fox-shifter and the man he was seeing stole his star ball which holds his magic. If it gets in the wrong hands it could cause a war. Summer promises she will get it back and goes to a BDSM club and meets Jubal, who is a dragon-shifter. Jubal knows that Summer is his mate and wants her all to himself. He gets really jealous when he see’s Summer starring at another man while she is his submissive.

This book is hot and steamy. Summer has to choose between helping her friend and submitting to the master that she has been wanting for so long. I will warn you that there is some M/M, and BDSM. I haven’t had the chance to read the other eight books in this series. I just saw this book and had to read it. I love books that have shifters in them and I have really started enjoying the ones with dragons in them. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I have to say I like her writing style. This book was really interesting and it was hard to put down after I finished the book. I can’t wait to find more books by this author.

So if you love shifter books and BDSM then this is the book for you. I will warn you that it is very hot will leave you wanting more.

I bought this one from Kobo.

Agh! So frustrating! I've read all the books in this series and I may have to give up on it soon. This entry drove me batty: what should have been a story of two gorgeous characters, with lots of potential for a rich story, instead turned into a rushed story, full of telling, not showing. I know Ms. Strong is capable of much better stories, I've read them. This just felt like it was phoned in.

Who am I kidding? I'm going to buy book 10. Which was released in April. Sometimes I hate myself...

Treasure & Trust

After Lyra (book 8) puts Jubal on the scent of her sister, Summer, he wastes no time pressing a fey to reveal Summer's location. That location, a BDSM club, becomes a place that tests Lyra's ability to trust Jubal and his patience with her. It was a beautiful story with potential romance blossoming between two secondary characters.
