COPPERHEAD WRITER JAY FAERBER TEAMS WITH RISING STAR SUMEYYE KESGIN TO UNVEIL THE FANTASTIC STORY OF WHAT REALLY HAPPENED TO AMELIA EARHART! Mysteriously transported to a strange new world filled with flying beasts and alien civilizations, Amelia desperately struggles to return home. Along the way, she forges alliances and makes enemies as she goes from aviator to freedom fighter in a rebellion against a merciless warlord! "Get lost in this other world and you'll be in the best company." - KIERON GILLEN (THE WICKED + THE DIVINE)
In this issue, we get glimpses of the world and characters. There are two human so far. And some strange creatures. The issue begins with the escape of two strange-creature rebels from fortress of a tyrant king. They meet our human-protagonist, Amelia Earhart, who is lost in this world of Korvath. She tells them her plane got crashed and she doesn't know where she is and she has also lost her friend, Fred. They tell her that the word 'plan' they heard in the fortress they just escaped as they don't know what a plane is. They agree to help her free his friend. When she gets in the fortress, rather than meeting, Fred, she meets another human, Dan Cooper.
This issue was amazing. Even though we didn't get to know much, I still enjoyed it. The writer says each arc in this series will have four issues. I think we will get to fully know the world in this arc. Anxiously waiting for the next month issue.
Fun characters, creative concept, good artwork. This is a good read! Check out my full Constant Collectible review here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vx8zH...
Elsewhere #1 gets this latest Image series off to a tremendous start, introducing us to a brand new fantasy world. Giving us an interesting take on what might have become of first female aviator, Amelia Earhart, the creative team fashion a thrilling premise, with the various twists and turns sure to leave readers eager for more.
This was amazing! I picked it up by chance cause it was a cool cover and the girl on it seemed spunky. I was also excited that the girl on it wasn't showing ANY skin. That's not something I see often. She looked familiar but I didn't think much of that. Lo an behold! The girl is Amelia Earhart! I love what the story is doing and I can't wait to read more!
Interesting premise and take on...what if Amelia Earhart ended up in an alternative fantasy realm? Loved the fact she is a naturally strong, lady pilot...piloting with natural ease her own dragon in an escape attempt!
I really love this one! The art and especially the colors are just stunning and the storyline seems really promising and well written - can't wait to read the next issue!
Me to my comic dealer: Did you enjoy this? Comic dealer: Yeah, you would definitely like this. Me: *buys book then goes on vacation and forgets about it* Me: *sees it on the night stand and decides to read it while waiting for laundry to finish drying* Me: *gets to the last page* OH MY GOD 👏👏👏
