Coming home after 13 years in max prison, Raider is not the same man who went away at 19-years-old.
Despite Stripped being a short, smutty novella, there are a lot of feelings for Raider, Daisy, and Colson to wade through, not to mention the obstacles they face.
You can always count on Liz to bring the heat and she definitely did. But, I wouldn’t be mad if she decided to revisit the trio and tell more if their story.

I very rarely rate novellas 4 or 5 stars, but this one made the cut. I enjoyed the characters and the story so much, which is surprising since I have a hard time connecting with a book that’s under 150 pages. Genuinely I felt myself wanting to read a full story about these three characters. Shame it was only a novella😔
Bonus points to this book to for being safe for me! I love when there are no manwhores!😍
A few tropes:

• childhood (high school) best friends to lovers (with separation)
• ex prisoner (H1) and ex navy seal (H2)
• period play/ period s3x
• mafia/ gang side story

• no info on sexual past at all of the Hs (if they had one) aside from the fact H2 did have boyfriends in high school (no girlfriends)

• celibate during separation- while H1 was in prison, he was celibate. Both the FMC and H2 were only with each other (that we know of) during that time.

Holy spice! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ The book is fully smut.
I loved this book so much. The mouth on the 2 male characters 🥵 it couldn’t have been written better.
The connection between all 3 characters was so strong and the struggles they had. When one hurt they all did.
Raider has to overcome a lot of struggles. Not just his A$$hole father but he allowing himself to not feel guilty for when they touch him but more so when Colson does.
Colson is always straight up with what he wants but when it comes to Raider he walked on eggshells to make sure he never pushes him to far. All he ever wanted was for Raider to feel and want the same things he does.
Daisy is what makes them all work out but she is scared they will not work out, that Raider doesn’t want them or love them anymore.

This is quick, it’s spicy, it’s dirty, and it’s a good time! (For those of us that aren’t afraid of questionable decisions in and out of the bedroom.) After being in prison for 13 years, Raider is ready to get back to the loves of his life. But there’s dark shadows all around him. Those shadows have created a monster, one that he’s afraid to unleash around Colson and Daisy. The three of them need each other, and Cole and Daisy have barely been living all those years without Raider. They’ve got an undeniable bond that only got stronger in their time apart. I didn’t overly enjoy the “story” of this one as it’s only 190odd pages and I felt like I needed to know a lot more about everything but the smut made up for it. Because there was some hot AF scenes in this one!

Received this arc for my honest opinion.
This is a short story of three friends / lovers. One of the friends was sent to prison for something he didn’t do. A shy boy but turned rough, tattooed up. The day he is release he goes back to the two people he thought of all the days he was in prison. Can they see past his dangerous actions that caused him to go away? Or will all the secrets come to light? I was a little confused with the three characters. A bit unnerving. Some answers here and there. But short and got a little mystery and thriller of what caused they to be separated.

Stripped by L.A. Wayard follows Daisy, Colson, and Raider as Raider is released from prison where he served 10+ years. Raider is returning to the life and found family he had before going to prison but there are things he’s keeping secret that he must handle first.
There was potential in this story but the characters, their backstories, and the plot was not fully developed. The focus and attention here is on the spice but I found myself unable to connect with the characters or story. It ended on what feels like a cliffhanger but it was unclear if there is a planned sequel. I read this in less than 24 hours because it was a fast-paced, quick read.

This one is SPICY!
Raider gets out of prison and is equally nervous and excited to see the only two people that have ever had his back. He's not sure if they missed him, he doesn't know if they can still accept him, he doesn't know if he can give them what they deserve, but he knows he wants to try.
Colson has always wanted to be a Navy Seal, to keep his childhood best friend Daisy safe and happy, and to break the ice around the hot and broken Raider. They tried to make things work in HS, but they're adults now and so much has tried to come between them. Colson isn't sure if he can protect them, but he knows he has to try.
Daisy doesn't care what it looks like, she is in love with two guys. They're so different but also so similar. They worship her and have taught her physical pleasure unlike anything else. But Raider is always keeping secrets and struggling with his dark past and Colson has always been her knight in shining armor, but at what cost? She is the foundation that both her boys' happiness is built on. She doesn't know if she's enough, but she won't let them go ever again.
L.A. really understood the assignment here.
There is SOOO much spice in this novella. It put my poker face to the test. But in true L.A. fashion there is also so much more. Raider's struggle with accepting himself and being worthy of Daisy and Colson. Colson's guilt over Raider being in jail for years and wanting to be closer to him. Daisy trying to handle the body and hearts of two dirty-talking alphas. This story was SO memorizing to read. I loved what these three had.

I am absolutely in love with this story and the characters. If you're looking for a book full of smut and spice between the characters this MMF is for you.
There is just something about how LA writes her stories. This may have been a short one but it was packed with everything you need. We get all the information you need as you read so at the end you're not left wanting.
These three were meant for each other and there was some huge hurdles they had to face from the past in order for them to move forward but man when they move forward together it's…🥵.

This was a quick and super spicy read.
Literally got it read in one sitting and it's hot in here. Where's the fan.
What happens when you fall for 2 alpha males...you get stripped.

Raider did 10 yrs in prison and when he was released he was primal. Ready to set everything he planned in motion, but first...he needed to unleash on his girl, and guy.

Colson has been keeping things in check at home with their girl.
But he knew once Raider was home things would get intense, in the best and a bit in the worst ways. But mostly the best. Daisy and Colson knew how Raider thought.
These 3 fell for each other even though they knew deep down it wasn't right. At least according to those around them. Mainly Raiders father.
But how can they deny what they feel for one another. They can't. They won't.
It comes with a price, which eventually gets paid, but then there's revenge in the end.
But yall the spice...99% of this book is spice, but the plot is there and good.
I do wish it was longer just to get more detail in the overall plot, but honestly still so good.

An absolutely erotic read that had me red faced and totally on edge for the rest of the day!
Raider was finally free after over a decade in prison for a crime he did not commit. He left behind the two people he cared about the most - changing from the boy he was back in their youth to the man who is not going to let the man and woman he loved get away.
Daisy was his.
Colson was his.
He would tear about his enemy to keep them together with him forever, no matter the cost.
Wowzers! My God! I read this while I was at work and I did not want to put it down, but I was probably blushing so much it would not surprise my coworkers what I was reading!
Raider's family life completely screwed him up and had him in fear for so long, however, when he finds Daisy - his beautiful girl - and Colson - Daisy's best friend who would protect her from a deranged lunatic, none of them prepared for the explosive and delightful naughtiness that was to come!
Plus, straight out of prison and he's just going right for that insane carnal taboo stuff. Gotta give it to the man.
Damn this author delivered on the hot and nasty and crazy and oh-so-good shtick I HAVE to give this a 5 star!

Once again L.A. Wayward brings us an incredibly spicy story with intriguing characters that will suck you in! Make sure you have a drink and a fan nearby while reading this… YOU WILL NEED IT! 🥵 Raider, Colson and Daisy definitely steamed up my Kindle! 🔥🔥🔥
Raider is released from jail after more than a decade and is reunited with two of the most important people to him. But, jail definitely changed him and he is ready to claim what is his. And that is Daisy and Colson. Daisy the beautiful girl who he was instantly attracted to and wanted to be close to even if his world was dark. And Colson, the golden boy that he felt a connection to. Together they find their own family with each other.
Obviously, the spicy scenes between these three will make you 🥵 🥵🥵 Seriously, Raider and Colson get an A++ for their dirty talk game 🔥🔥🔥! But, it was also just the dynamic between them that made it even better!!

This was SPICY. The dynamic between Raider, Daisy and Colson is sexy. There is angst and L.A. doesn’t slack on writing her seggsy scenes at all. In fact, there were times when standing in front of the air conditioner vent just wasn’t enough to cool me down. I even kicked the air conditioner unit in hopes it’ll make cooler air come out.
I really liked Raider, with his tough attitude made by being hardened in prison, but still has a soft side for Daisy when she comes back into his life. I love a tough guy who crumbles with the right woman…and man. Colson adds a special edition to our threesome that fits in perfectly.
Overall, this was a really fun and quick read and I love that L.A. gives us a universe with a backstory that gets down to the nitty gritty. We get the answers to our questions and then some, and we see how this threesome work with each other.
Kudos to L.A. Wayward for writing another good one!

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is a romance novel that you are going to want to check the trigger warnings on before you dive into it. I feel like it might have some things in it that will be triggers for some readers. This is a MMF romance. This is also a quick little read that will set you on fire and you won't be laying it down. This is the story or Daisy, Raider, and Colson. I have to say here that these guys are some dirty talking alphas and I loved every second of that. There is nothing better than a well written dirty talking male character in my book. These three have had a connection from the time they were in their teens until at nineteen Raider goes to prison. When he comes out of prison he has a great bit huge chip on his shoulder. He has some vendetta that needs to be taken care of and the first one is the one he has with Daisy and Colson who are still together after all this time. However he never expected the girl he once loved to be his ride home. Will he be able to forgive and forget? You have to read to find out. But I promise this book is really good. Stripped by L.A. Wayward is a fast paced, sexy novella. The story focuses on Raider, Colson and Daisy and their complex relationship. The story starts with Raider being in prison for many years and he isn’t the man that he was when he went in. Dark, blunt and hardened, the only people he can think about and depend upon are Daisy and Colson. His feelings for Daisy are intense and he wants her with a passion. The same can be said for Colson, Raider just has to come to terms with his feelings about him and how the abuse that he has seen from his father’s hand has made how he thinks about that relationship more difficult.
There is instant attraction in this story, with some wild, sexy scenes (which may have triggers for some readers). As Raider struggles with his past and tries to get plans he’s put into place whilst in prison done, he has to keep the truth from Daisy, but Daisy is feisty enough to know that there is more going on and won’t let up until she knows the truth.
This is a very fast paced novella with some quick themes and a quick story which is entertaining, sensual and with some great characters. A must read to wile away a few hours.

I’ve waited months for this book and it absolutely did not disappoint! It’s quick, dirty and has some of those beloved taboo tropes that so many authors shy away from. Holy hell, y’all 🙈 I nearly needed a bath filled with holy water after reading.

Colson is more of the straight and narrow type but by no means does that indicate he doesn’t get down and dirty when the occasion calls for it. He’s a Navy Seal- and we just love our servicemen, don’t we 😏

This story is a short and steamy standalone novella. And while it may be small in page length the amount of story telling and content that L.A. Wayward puts into every page is done very well.
Prison can change a person, and Raider steps out from behind bars as a slightly different person after serving 13 years. There are ups and down that pull at Raider, Daisy, and Colson's feelings for each other, and more obstacles than any of them may have realized at first.
If you are looking for a quick and steamy read that have plot to it then I would give this a try. Thank you L.A. Wayward for an arc of this book.

“Did you think about me when you were f**king her?" Let me tell you this book definitely kept my attention. I mean I didn’t want to put it down. The spiciness (is that a word? Lol) anyways was definitely on point.the level of spice in this is probably about a 9/10 ….About 80% of it is covered with spice. If you can’t handle the that much spice. This book is not for you. But i enjoyed it. Every page of it. I would like there to be a book 2 just to see where things go now. This was so hot I’m thinking of adding another person to my relationship. 🥵🥵🥵 lol.

Raider goes to prison but it’s unclear why and the mystery that shrouds the reasoning is completely shocking. This trio, Colson, Raider, and Daisy have an intense and passionate relationship that has a twist with Colson and Daisy having been friends for years but never have a relationship until Raider enters the picture.
These characters were sensational, the unique dynamic works well for them and at times is so very, very hot that the pages went up in flames 🔥

This book is short, but don't let the length full you. Stripped is amazing, entertaining, and unforgettable.

This is Raider, Colson, and Daisy’s story. Raider is released from jail after over a decade and is reunited with two of the most important people in his life. The chemistry between these three is combustible and undeniable. This is a well written quick read, which is dark, raw, gritty, and intriguing, with emotions, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, and unpredictable page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Raider has been in jail for a crime that he didn't commit. He left the two people he loves to protect them. Now that he's out, he has to get used to things being so different. He also has to get his horrible thoughts under control.
I like how excited Daisy was to see Raider outside the prison. The store scene hurt. Daisy was pushing a little too hard considering Raider literally just got out of prison. The way they all feel about each other is intoxicating. It's painful when you watch someone you love battle their inner demons. I definitely didn't expect that twist.
