The cover of this book called out to me when i saw it on a shelf. The illustration on the cover is very appealing. Little did i know that this book would become not just a quick read, but a lifelong companion.

This is book that you can read many times and each time you would discover a new quote or relate more to a certain phrase.
You savor each page and you reflect on the wisdom of each sentence.

Main themes : friendship, companionship, courage, seasons of the year, wisdom, self-acceptance.

Sweet book, easy to read. Every page brings something new. I read the book in one go, but I will definitely read it again. What's great is that you can open the book anywhere and read because each page is self-contained. The text makes you smile; one of my favourites is "Sometimes you just have to be silly," or it makes you think about how you actually live and think. Reading it, I realised that we often think too gloomily... In life, we all need to be both a tiny dragon and a big panda sometimes.

Big Panda and Tiny Dragon by James Norbury and Narrated by Jason Isaacs was a beautifully written book from the beginning till the end. My nephew and I snuggled under a quilt on the sofa as it was raining outside and cold and we both listened to this audiobook. It maybe only 45 minutes long but it was beautiful.

It's about a journey of friendship between Big Panda and Tiny Dragon, they go through the seasons of the year together, day and night, in rain and in sun. Travelling through nature, they find hope and inspiration in the world around them, realising that even in the darkest of days, spring will always return..

'Which is more important,' asked Big Panda, 'the journey or the destination?' 'The company,' said Tiny Dragon.

I highly recommend this book/audiobook. It maybe small However, my nephew spoke all afternoon about it......So when this book comes out I will be purchasing it for him. Special Moments with him.

James Norbury books should be required reading for all of humanity. If we could take the lessons from his books, and apply even just a small percentage of them to our daily lives, we would all be better, happier, kinder people, living more fulfilled lives.

Big Panda and Tiny Dragon will always stay with me, after picking them up at a library earlier this year. I plan to get them tattooed at some point, that's how special they are IMHO.

Big Panda and Tiny Dragon are companions who go on journeys, drink tea, face obstacles, and talk to each other. They often discuss Buddhist ideas about harmony and effort.

In some ways, this book reminds me of Winnie the Pooh, and in others, it strikes me as motivational cards for sharing on social media. Some pages touched me. Some are apparently meant for other people.

It was a nice book. Quick read and sweet meaning.

I think this book is better for children. So they can get this life advice early on. Or it's something nice to read if you wanna relax and read about a small dragon and panda.

I gave 3 starts, because i liked the book, but it did not leave a big impact on me. So i rated based on how much i liked the book.
