I picked this up at my local library. I really enjoyed this book! I'm a huge fan of Van Gogh and know quite a bit about him and his work but this book still taught me a lot that I didn't know. I am happy that it recognized Johanna Van Gogh's role in how we see Van Gogh today. Great read!

Laid out clearly and written concisely, this wonderful introduction gets to the core of Van Gogh. If only there were more illustrations...
