Okay this is the second of Roehm's books in a row that I've read and I quite like them. This one is not so overwhelming and is very inspirational. I look forward to reading the Spring Notebook next!

Copied a few of the winter soup recipes that were unusual. Also made a list of the recommended shrubbery for forcing blooms. And found a cute Valentine's Day preparation idea for simple foods. Some repetition from other books...............

There's not a lot of information in this, I confess my copy is second hand, but if you can find this at a reasonable price, the pictures are sumptuous.
