Fascinating read for anyone interested in the history of banks/banking in Georgia. Written in 1992, the book is outdated but gives an interesting look at the foundation of banks especially during the Civil War and Great Depression. If you are a banker or businessman in Georgia you will recognize many names of bankers and banks in the book.
