Way, way, waaay too long. Had to get 80% of the way through it before it got to the topics that most of us were there to read this for – his involvement in the murders of Marilyn Monroe, JFK, and RFK. Learned a lot… But really, as if I needed any more reasons to know the government is thoroughly corrupt beyond comprehension? Way too many psychopaths running the world…

The double cross of the title refers to the Kennedy's betrayal of Sam Giancana after helping get JFK elected. It purports that the assassination was a joint effort on the part of the Mob and the CIA. The book, written by Giancana's kids, also claims that he was responsible for the death of Marilyn Monroe and RFK.
