What I particularly liked about this book is that the book is full of photos by different photographers from different periods, and not just the photos taken by the author. In different parts of the book (which are dedicated to various types of photos) Finn introduces different photographers of all times and makes his point using their photos. On the whole, quite a useful reading that gives the reader information for further studying.

Probably the book that most affected my photography. It didn't teach me anything I didn't know, but it made me realize I knew it so I could more consciously put the knowledge to use.

Like how the author breaks down photographs into different categories and notes interesting elements in these photographs.
