Taken from first-person accounts and historical documents, this book chronicles more than 300 examples of alien encounters, conspiracy theories, and the influence of extraterrestrials on human events throughout history. Investigating claims of visits from otherworldly creatures, aliens living among us, abductions of humans to alien spacecraft, and accounts of interstellar cooperation since the UFO crash in Roswell, this discussion of the theories and mysteries surrounding aliens is packed with thought-provoking stories and shocking revelations of alien involvement in the lives of Earthlings.
Best case scenario this reads like the Zombie Survival Guide, realistic sounding fiction. Unfortunately, more often than not, it reads more like a college textbook. The anecdotes are very interesting, to say the least, and not recommended for bedtime reading. This book is trying to convince reasonable people that UFO's are aliens, however there are mentions of phenomena that go unsourced and not a single actual photo or nonanecdotal evidence is given. I am glad I checked it out, but I will not be busting out the tinfoil anytime soon; keep watching the skis though.
Has some interesting information I didn't know about, but in general jumps to the conclusion that all experiencers are truthful and sane and everything odd must be aliens.
