I was a bit disappointed as I was hoping there would be lots of lace and, certainly, more than one wedding dress. Instead there were two dresses (if you include the nightie, three): one wrap dress and one wedding dress and all of them are rows and rows of stockinette. There were numerous smaller projects to fill the pages (purses, headband, hair clip, totebag, photo album, bracelet, pillow, throws, wraps, scarves, handkerchief) that are basically knitted rectangles. The bikini is very cute but you are warned that it is not for swimming. The photos are beautiful and there are schematics for many projects. Design-wise, white type over a light green background does not make for easy legibility.
There are some beautiful ideas in here, though of course there are some of the usual "what?" kind of moments that come with a Suss Cousins book. She just likes to push her yarn, I think. But if I hadn't found it post-wedding, I can see myself using a few things from it.
Some nice knits but quite plain for wedding knits. I expected more lace and daintiness. However, there is a wide range of knits for the wedding party, for the bride and for the honeymoon. Fairly nice stuff.
