Phoebe, Georgia and Samantha the welcoming committee to Paisley Island for a group of invited writers. They are prepared to have a wonderful as well as offer a great time to this group. But Phoebe is troubled. It seems she had a premonition that there will be a murder on the bridge. Can the Hadley witches stop a premonition before it comes to fruition. At the same time, there is a hurricane and all the guests are trapped, the electronics go haywire and there is a possible killer among them and the charge of theft of a manuscript. Wow. We are taken on a real roller coaster ride with Phoebe, Georgia and Samantha on the case. Can they figure it all out before anything more can happen? Can they reverse a premonition? This is a fast-paced page turning book that you can't stop until the surprise ending. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Premonitions of evil!

A premonition of death leads Phoebe to seek help from Samantha and Georgia. Stopping a death in the future requires their complete attention. Roiling relationships, disruptions on the island, and a reporter known for hurtful exposes targeting their island sanctuary are making concentration difficult. To complicate things further, a hurricane is heading for the island. Could it get any crazier for the Hadley Witches?

The plot flows smoothly as chaos and mayhem surround the characters. I enjoy the sometimes-snarky interactions of the familiars. The story has a good mystery to solve wrapped in paranormal action and humor. I received a free copy by my review is honest and voluntary.

Things are going well on Paisley Island. Phoebe has settled in and is enjoying her life. Then she has a premonition of a murder on the island’s bridge. At the same time, more writers have been invited to the island. A visitor’s manuscript goes missing and a rumor is spread it’s the owners of the island. A hurricane is moving in, trapping everyone on the island, and they know a killer is among them. Can the witches use their powers to discover who it is and put a stop to it all? Follow along as the witches and their familiars track down clues and motives and solve the case.

I’m loving this series! Something wicked comes to Paisley Island when she has a premonition of a murder. Can she influence events to prevent the murder? This may be the Hadley witches biggest challenge, yet! Nice twisty mystery, interesting characters and excellent craftsmanship combine to make this one hard to put down. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this book and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.

Comfortable shoes required.

This book had so much going! I felt I was running in one direction and then had to make a sudden turn into another direction and on and on. I hated setting the book down.
I'm not going to go into a description of the story as it would take away from yoir enjoyment. I will say it is a continuation of the building of the community on Paisley Island and an idea of some of the problems such a project could run into.

Well, an interesting book indeed. Phoebe dreams that someone is somehow knocked off the bridge onto Paisley Island. There is a new intake of guests arriving too & with one there seems to be an odd undercurrent of darkness, but, only sometimes. Also, one of the authors has her manuscript stolen which adds to the general oddness. Add a hurricane to the mix & enjoy the book!!

I love this series! It’s such a unique type of cozy. It makes me want to be a writer and magical just so I can be invited to Paisley Island…even with all the crazy stuff that has gone on. I can’t wait to see how the characters and the island change and progress as the series continues. I hope it never ends!

I accidentally found the first book of this series. I am glad I did.
My greatest dream is to be a writer, just like the three Hadley witches. I just wish I had the beautiful setting like Paisley Island and people in my life like the characters in this series.
I highly recommend this series.

Something strange and evil is lurking in the shadows on the island as a new group of guests arrive. Fun, original well written story. Strong female characters and a beautiful magical setting. I hope there will be many more in this series.

What a story--so many different things happening that ends up coming together at the end from the same problem. It is exciting, with a little romance, a little sadness and new characters being added. I very much enjoy this story and I hope that more will be written. Recommend reading.

The writing was a lot better than the previous book. There was actually suspense and intrigue. Also the twists were completely unexpected. I can say that I surprisingly liked this book. If there is a fourth book, I might just give it a chance.
