The Montgomery Ink Fort Collins series begins with two second chance romances from the heart and have all the heat.
Inked Persuasion
Years ago, Annabelle Montgomery married not for love but for a promise of hope. When she lost him weeks later, she told herself she never needed those sentiments again. Only when she discovers years later that her new neighbor is her late husband’s brother, Annabelle finds she can’t quite shake the emotions she’s long since buried. Jacob Queen vowed he’d never set eyes on Annabelle again. When they’re forced into each other’s lives once more, they realize that no matter how far they run, no distance can keep them apart forever. More than ghosts lay between them, and when they finally give in to temptation, walking away whole may no longer be an option.
Inked Obsession
When men in uniform showed up on Eliza Wilder-Strong’s doorstep, she knew her life would be irrevocably altered. She not only lost her husband, but the future she’d carefully planned. A year later, she’s looking to start over—beginning with a solo healing vacation. Only she never expects to see a familiar, tempting face along the way. Beckett Montgomery refuses to want his little sister’s best friend—especially because she’s a widow. Yet there’s no stopping the connection between them. As the temptation to give in intensifies, so do the reasons they shouldn’t stay together. Painful ghosts from both of their pasts stand in their way and sometimes it’s the living that can haunt you when you’re not looking.

The Montgomery Ink World contains the following series, though each series is a stand alone and can be read in any order. Feel free to hop around:
This is a great collection; I read these two books when they were first released and enjoyed them so I read them again.
In Inked Persuasion we have Annabelle Montgomery and Jacob Queen's story. This is a story of loss, misunderstandings, forgiveness, and passion.
In Inked Obsession, we have Beckett Montgomery and Eliza Wilder's story. If you have read any of The Wilder Brothers Series, this is their sister Eliza's story, and you won't want to miss this one.
Fate works in mysterious ways when the person whom you believe you dislike most in the world ends up being the person you can’t be without. Inked Persuasion will give you all the feels.
All of the Montgomery‘s contain a level of passion that’s like another so I thought until I met Annabelle Montgomery. The level of compassion that this woman possesses rivals sainthood. She understands the true meaning of friendship is and not everyone will get to experience everything they want in life. A truly strong woman in every sense of the word. Yet when the late husband's brother moves in next door, buried emotions return, opening a door to something that could be a lot more.
Jacob Queen has returned home to help with care for his momma. Losing his brother years ago has made it all the more urgent that he spends as much time as he can with his mom. Little did he know he would be moving in right next-door to the last person on earth he ever wanted to see you again. Emotions flaring and only half truths known Jacob made what should have been some good into something ugly. Learning the real deal and opening his eyes has made him realize his only enemy was himself. And something wonderful it’s just an arms reach away.
Inked Persuasion was a whole different level of emotion and I enjoyed every bit of it. Jacob and Annabelle worked so well together. Even when bickering and fighting they did it with compassion and passion. Their chemistry came naturally while they stubbornly fault what their bodies and hearts knew before their brains. Carrie Ann Ryan once again gives readers a steamy and emotional story that has us feeling the things we felt when a romance hits you just right. Annabelle and Jacob’s story is everything Montgomery that we have come to love.
Inked Obsession
Healing, secrets, an intense connection, some more secrets and something bigger than two people could have imagined.
Inked Obsession brings us back to Fort Collins with Beckett and Eliza’s story. Beckett is hiding a secret from his family and friends that is slowly tearing him apart. Eliza is finally starting to heal from losing her husband just to have secrets come out of the woodwork like a slap in the face. Beckett and Eliza have always had a mutual attraction but neither has acted upon. With ghosts of the past haunting them, both somehow in the middle of all the craziness they found a way to find each other.
Inked Obsession is an intense emotional read to get your heart all warm and fuzzy. Beckett and Eliza are both dealing with issues that are affecting them both very deeply. I love that when they decided to act upon their feelings you just knew in the end they would make it. Visiting with Montgomery's is always entertaining, emotional and you know there’s always going to be a good romance in between the pages. Carrie Ann Ryan gives readers an emotionally driven, powerful story that is beautiful.
Annabelle Montgomery made the decision to marry years ago, not because she was in love but because it was someone to give her hope. When she lost her partner a few weeks later, she vowed to never let herself hope ever again. Fast foward a few years, she has a new neighbor who happened to be her late husband's brother. She never expected to feel things she had long ago denied herself of.
Jacob Queen made a vow to him to never set eyes on his ex sister-in-law but when fate kept throwing them together, he couldn't help and wonder if he shouldn't stop fighting what he felt for her and face the music.
Loved how Annabelle and Jacob's story gradually grew. When Annabelle found herself in danger because of Jacob's past. Let's just say that the thought of losing his beloved scared him more than anything else could.
Montgomerys will always be Montgomerys, they have each other's backs, no matter what.
INKED OBSESSION
Eliza Wilder-Strong's life changed forever when uniformed men showed up at her doorstep. She'd lost her husband, the future she'd planned then fast forward one year later. She was ready to start over, first order of business was taking a healing vacation. Except she never expected to see her best-friend's bother there.
Beckett Montgomery didn't want to fall for his little sister Annabelle's (INKED PERSUASION) best-friend, Eliza. Especially since she was a widow but no matter what destiny had other plans for him. The attraction between them kept growing, what neither one of them expected was to fall head over heels with each other.
They both had to face their demons individually and they were great at it but when they faced them together they were a force of nature. Beckett and Eliza had each other's backs.
Loved how he was there for her when she came face to face with her late husband's betrayals. Even though she tried pushing him away, he never left her side. She had the Montgomerys and the Wilders I'm her corner.
After all their losses and pains, Eliza and Beckett found happiness, love and most importantly they found family.
A wonderful set to kick off the series for newcomers. Carrie Ann Ryan did a magnificent job. You guys should give this collection a try. Two thumbs up! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
****I received this boxset, without any obligation to review. ****
I absolutely enjoyed listening to Inked Persuasion by Carrie Ann Ryan. Narrated by Emma Wilder and Aaron Shedlock, they truly brought this story to life for me. A story about grief, loss, family, hope and second chances. This is the first book in the Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins series and will draw you in right from the start. Jacob never wanted to see Annabelle again. She stole so much from him, right? So Imagine his surprise when he moves back home and discovers she is his new neighbor. They have so much history together, can they find a way to co-exist?
Jacob was a bit of a jerk at the start of the story, but we get to see why he feels like he does. But when he leans the truth, we see a more caring and determined side of him. Annabelle was sweet, likable and strong. And I just loved her relationship with her siblings. As Jacob and Annabelle become friends, they realize they share an amazing chemistry and connection. They want to keep things light and fun, but life is never that easy. Obstacles seem to find their way between them. Can they find their happily ever after? I loved their journey so much!
Inked Obsession – 4-stars Audiobook review:
As soon as I read the blurb for Inked Obsession by Carrie Ann Ryan I was all in. So, when I had a chance to listen to the audio, I jumped at the chance. Narrated by Emma Wilder and Aaron Shedlock, they truly brought Beckett and Eliza’s journey to life. We first met these characters in Inked Persuasion, the first book in the Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins series, and though I do suggest you read it first, you do not have too. I did, however, love the first book and highly recommend it.
Here we have Beckett, Annabelle’s brother, and her best friend Eliza. Eliza is a widow learning her normal and struggling on how to move forward. She is lost and the last thing she expected was to get the news she did. Where does she go from here? Beckett is hiding secrets from everyone who cares about him. They are hurting, but neither knows how to move forward. Yet neither can deny how things are changing between them. Can they let it happen? Their lives are too intermixed, and their friendship means too much to both of them. Can they find their happily ever after? I loved listening to Inked Obsession by Carrie Ann Ryan. It was a slow burn friends to lovers romance that was emotional and touching.
Two of my favorite Fort Collins Montgomerys together in one collection. I must admit that I fell hard for this branch of the Montgomery Ink family. An amazing group of siblings who are there to support each other and hold each other up. Along with a core group of friends who do the same. After the first story I couldn't wait to devour the remaining four. What is better than two second chance romances together in one book?
Book 1 - Ink Persuasion: Annabelle Montgomery had married her first husband to fulfill a promise to her best friend. It was a short term commitment between two people who would do anything for one another. Jacob Queen hated Annabelle for what she did to his brother all those long years ago. He vowed to never forgive her. Unfortunately for him he moved in to the house next door to Annabelle. They too were once friends. Can they repair the damage done and move forward from their past?
Book 2 - Ink Obsession: Eliza Wilder understood the dangers of being married to a military man stationed over seas. What she didn't know were the secrets her husband had kept from her closer to home. After his death she was forced to confront some ugly truths. Beckett Montgomery promised himself he was only helping Eliza with repairs around the house. He refused to fall for his sister's best friend. As Eliza confides in Beckett the more he finds himself sharing his secrets with her. Will Eliza and Beckett build a deeper connection as they both try to move on from their troubled pasts?
Both of these stories tore my heart out only to put it back together again. As much as I wanted to hate Jacob Queen I couldn't help but love his devotion to his family. I rooted for him and Annabelle to get over the past and move forward together in to the future. The villain in Eliza's story was no more. One wonders how she can get closure when she cannot confront the man who deceived her. My heart bled for Eliza but I loved that she had Beckett to share her pain with and help her heal and move beyond.
I cannot recommend these two stories enough. What a great opportunity to get them together.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A heart-breaking past story to Inked Persuasion - one that had a tear or two falling. I didn’t think it would be possible to produce a new Montgomery Ink series that would be as captivating as the first- even if it is situated in a different part of the country. But Carrie Ann Ryan has proved me wrong. Annabelle and Jacob's story has a special place in my heart. A 5⭐️must-read!
“And I think that maybe we should get to know the people we are now, rather dewelling on the people we left behind in the shadows".
Annabelle and Jacob’s history are what heartache is made of. When Jacob returns to town years later to be closer to his ill mom, he is also thrown back into Annabelle’s life. The misunderstandings and tragedy that is part of their entwined past are now muddy even further as the growing chemistry between the two is something neither of them wanted!
Once again Ms. Ryan has a hit on her hands with the new Fort Collins, Montgomery's.
Book2 Inked Obsession
It was so good to get back to the Montgomery's, this dynasty series just keeps getting better and better. I don't know how Carrie Ann Ryan pulls these magical stories out of the bag, but she does every time. I love Ms. Ryan's individuality, each couple brings their own dynamics to the series, none more so than Beckett and Eliza's story. This is deeply moving of a young widow, coming to grips with being single again, while always wondering what other people are thinking about her, is she smiling too much? is she not smiling enough, will she ever get over the loss of her husband?. What keeps Eliza sane is her brothers and the Montgomery's, one, in particular, Beckett, but he is hiding something from his family that he knows will break their hearts. But there is a secret that is also about to tear Eliza apart, will Beckett be the one to be the shoulder she needs?
The dynamics and chemistry between Beckett and Eliza are wonderful, and I got caught up in this story right from the start.
Inked Persuasion: From hate to love with twists and turns!
Jacob is the brother of Annabelle’s deceased husband of six years. They married for specific reasons. He moves in next door to her, but did not know she lived there. He needed to be near his parents for medical reasons. To say the least, they hate each other. But, they did air out their differences from the start. There were things he didn’t know from the past. Annabelle is the head architect of Montgomery Builders in Fort Collins, Colorado. She works with all her siblings. She also has another next door neighbor who is attracted to her. Jacob is a lawyer. He also has an ex-wife who apparently wants him back. These are the things that sets up this story, which is a fantastic one. Their trials and tribulations between them seem to be a high wall to climb. Their emotions due to different situations. The steam between them is high. The action is unexpected. I loved it all!
Inked Obsession: Friends to love obsession!
Beckett works with his siblings at Montgomery Builders in Fort Collins, CO. He’s attracted to Eliza even though he shouldn’t be. Eliza is Annabelle’s, Beckett’s sister’s best friend. She lost her husband who was in the service a year ago. Is she ready to move on? Will their circle of friends, including the Montgomery family approve? Then it all falls apart for Eliza. She finds out more devasting news. How can she ever cope? Beckett has his own set of problems, too. He was in a bad situation, not caused by him, but something happened that he was now having nightmares about. Their story is one of confusion and uncertainty, with a side of steam that heat the pages as you read. I love all the characters in this series and the close family dynamic.
I have read and reviewed both of the books in this box set.
Inked Persuasion Oh wow what a start to a new series. Annabelle lives her life for her family and friends and her work but when her ex brother in law moves in next door her life gets a lot more complicated. Jacob never wanted to see Annabelle again but sometimes fate has other ideas. He hated for keeping him from his dying brother when she married him. The chemistry between them just keeps getting stronger and when they can no longer ignore it they decide to be friends with benefits. Feelings start to change but will they give in or run away. Plenty of love and drama but also some suspense and a great end to their story. I loved all of the characters in this new series and can't wait to see how the other stories unfold. I can't wait for book 2 after the ending of this book.
Inked Obsession This is such a brilliant read. There is a spark of attraction between Eliza and Beckett but he is keeping a big secret from everyone and she is struggling with her past being totally changed. When they end up on a short getaway vacation together their attraction grows and they spend a night together. I loved how they were together but can they make it work back home. Full of emotion and plenty of drama and a brilliant ending for them. Can't wait for the next book.
If you love emotional reads that are all about feels, heart, family, heat, and friendship you absolutely must grab this collection because these two wonderful reads offer up all that and so much more. I am independently posting an impartial review.
Inked Persuasion: 5 stars This romance is a hard emotional punch straight to your heart. Annabelle and Jacob give you all the feels and then some, as their complicated and pain filled history is addressed and a new relationship begins to take root and must struggle to overcome its own challenges. I really liked both characters and thought they made a solid couple that was easy to cheer on. The chemistry was awesome, and the drama will have you feeling anxious over the outcome.
Inked Obsession: 5 stars Eliza and Beckett's romance delivers some major feels and some powerful swoon. There is quite a bit of poignancy to this couple's slow burning story. I loved these two and thought they made a perfect couple. I loved how their romantic feelings grew out of friendship and I liked the little sister's best friend angle. My heart was honestly aching for these two. The emotions run thick, the baggage is heavy, and they pain they endure is intense. I thought this book was powerfully moving and I really enjoyed it.
Inked Persuasion Enemies to lovers Montgomery style! This is about Annabelle and Jacob. once good friends, now tumultuous, relationship with an old former friend, her dead husbands’ brother. The chemistry between them cannot be denied, and they decide to run with that, none of those pesky feelings. Yep, they fail at that, and life’s pressures cause fissures before things can be straightened out. Throw in not one, but two, baddies, causing both ending up injured, and then they finally get their oh so well deserved HEA. Annabelle and Jacob were a joy to read about, they are so similar and well matched, I loved them!
Inked Obsession The thing about these two is there has been a lot that has gone over in their lives, that is true, but it hasn’t ended yet. Eliza lost her husband and is now ready to move on to her new life. Beckett has a secret he has been keeping from everyone that is wearing him down. The lines of the borg of friendships continue to cross and intersect for the entire group. There is drama, there are heartaches, there (obviously, this is a Montgomery book) is a trip to the hospital, there are hugs, and there is healing. At the middle of it all are two people finding each other and falling in love
I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This includes the first two books of the series and I’ve included my individual reviews below:
Inked Persuasion: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a fantastic and very different take on the best friend’s brother romance. The story was well written and it totally captured me right from the beginning. Annabelle and Jacob had a very emotional backstory and it took them some time to figure out the past but it was worth it because they had such great chemistry. The story was also very great as a series starter because it introduced many characters whose stories I’m already itching to read.
Inked Obsession: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was an amazing best friend’s brother romance. The story was so well written and very emotional. It had me hooked immediately and it kept me that way throughout. Eliza was dealt a rough hand in this one and I wanted to kick those in-laws and her deceased husband. But luckily Beckett had her and he didn’t fail her. The two were such a great match and they had wonderful chemistry. I just loved the story.
Book 1: INKED PERSUASION This book will take you on a ride of all emotions! Loss, hate, sadness, second chances and ultimately love. Jacob and Annabelle become neighbors when Jacob moves back to take care of his parents. One problem, he hates Annabelle but is also attracted to her. When the truth comes out about the past his hatred seems to disappear and they embark on a no-strings-attached relationship. There are a lot of ups and downs with this arrangement but when real feelings take hold, can they both let go of the past to find their HEA?
Book 2: INKED OBSESSION Eliza's life changed the day uniformed men showed up on her door. Beckett is hiding a secret from his family and friends; the fact he witnessed a friend dying. One year later, as Eliza is moving on with her life, she never expects her best friends brother to sooth her broken heart and even though Beckett has been attracted to Eliza for some time, he's kept his distance. As they begin to spend more time together, their once broken hearts begin to mend and find their HEA after so much heartache.
When I saw this arc on my kindle it was destiny. These are the only two books I hadn’t read in the Fort Collins branch of Montgomery’s. Inked Persuasion was my preferred of the two but they were both really good. I loved that Annabelle didn’t wait around second guessing herself and approached Jacob head on. I could feel the push and pull with them. The wanting, the yearning and the pain from a shared loss. Also, the way Annabelle stayed close to the Queen family, it made my heart happy. Inked Obsession brought us to Eliza and Beckett. I felt for Eliza. To lose someone is bad enough, but to then have to find out they betrayed you from people who do not have your back is heartbreaking. It’s my worst nightmare. Beckett, while I liked him on page with Eliza, he drove me nuts. I know he had suffered a trauma but there was no real reason why he wasn’t sharing it. I get the Montgomery’s can be a little overboard but he could have told Brenna. She reached out a number of times. He was all “I am man, stoic and proud”. Annoying Beckett!! The Wilders are my favourite series by CAR so seeing them in here was a little piece of heaven.
This collection is the first two books in a spin off from the other Montgomery Ink books and it helps if you're at least familiar with the idea that there are SO MANY CHARACTERS and can be quite overwhelming. Nicely, that is alluded to by a charatcer in book 1, so the author knows how daunting it can be, and it feels like a bit of an in joke with the reader. I have always really liked that the characters that this author writes are 'everyday'. They have normal people jobs and normal people lives, hardly a self-made billionaire among them, which makes them very relatable. Book 1 really works as an introduction into the series which unfortunately meant that the story suffered a bit. It had all the makings of a great story but for some reason it never really got over ok. Sure, it was an enjoyable read and filled some time but it didn't grab me. Inked Obsession, book 2, however, delivered a wonderful, emotional read. ordinary people dealing with a situation that while extraordinary is possible in everyday life. The interaction between the characters is great and I love that this story doesn't have your typical drama inherent in a lot of romantic fiction.
I have have read a lot of the Montgomery Ink Series but this one is new to me. Inked Persuasion, is an enemies to lovers book. Annabelle Montgomery and Jacob Queen are former in-laws. She married his brother back in high school to honor a wish, he's hated her ever since. It gets worse when they become neighbors and they have to deal with each other. Over the course of the book Jacob finally hears the truth about what happened all those years ago with his brother. They finally are able to move on and find happiness.
Inked Obsession, Eliza Wilder Strong lost her husband a year ago while he was serving overseas. She is struggling to find peace and move on, a bomb is dropped by her in-laws about who her husband really was. Beckett Montgomery is Annabelle's brother and he is there to help pick up the pieces. Really enjoyed this story as well. Likeable characters and realistic storyline. Looking forward to the rest of the series. I have always enjoyed Carrie Ann Ryan's writing and she has not gone wrong this time
Inked Persuasion - Annabelle may have found her perfect match, but it rests in the body of her ex-husband's brother. Baggage aside, there is a whole history of love and hate going on. Can the truth of what happened actually be revealed? Can temptation be given into without losing the sense of self?
Inked Obsession - Eliza may be looking to start over after a year of being a widow, but it's not until the fancy dancing steps of Beckett shake her to her core that she realizes just how much she has missed. While invested in friendships and work, her connection to others is not as strong as she would like. A solo vacation to a beach paradise may be the way to kick start her intentions. Beckett's own traumatic past is keeping him from seeing a future happiness. Family and friends are overwhelming when secrets are being kept. A solo vacation may be a way to meditate and come to terms with what happened. Will dwelling on the past cause them to be blind to the future? Will meddlesome family bring about a change for the positive?
Annabella works with her family that builds homes and she is the architect. Her family is very close and they work well together but find it a bit harder as of lately with their dad butting in on all of the upcoming projects.
That’s not the only issue she faces her new neighbor is Jacob Queen and he is not to fond of her for reasons she’s not exactly sure of but like anything else she’s determined to make the most of the situation. Unfortunately there is one little problem they both seem to find themselves attracted to each other no matter how much they deny it. ** Inked Obsession
Beckett and Eliza have been through so much and deserve some happiness. This is an emotional roller coaster that will take the reader on a journey. They both have been through a lot in the past year and are trying to navigate it alone even though they have a wonderful support network, sometimes you just want to do it on your own, unfortunately that doesn’t always work and realize that having and turning to your family and friends is the better option.
This box set includes is the first two book in the Fort Collins Montgomery’s series. They are both second chance romance and are a wonderful introduction to this new Montgomery family.
We immediately got to know and love the characters, from the individual siblings to the challenging parents and the strong supportive friends. It didn’t feel like a new series and that we had only just met!
The first book was full of intrigue and angst, as well as fun, romance and excitement. I have always loved Carrie Ann Ryan’s books, but this new series has started so well, that I just can’t wait to get back to Fort Collins and get to know the rest of the family better!!
The second instalment in the Fort Collins Montgomery’s series was full of the normal excitement and romance, but also some totally unexpected twists and turns. I really enjoyed this book and the amazing characters and their deep and emotional relationship.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Like all Carrie Ann Ryan's books these two stories have lots of emotions, family, steam and twists. In Inked Persuasion Annabell and Jacob have lots of history, but not of a romantic nature, they shared the loss of a someone they loved. Now they have to work out their feelings for each other and how they fit into each others busy lives. The Montgomerys are always fun and this new branch of the family leaves us wanting more. Then in Inked Obsession secrets have a way of coming out and usually at the worst possible time. Beckett has been keeping one big secret from his family and friends. Eliza's world crashed about a year ago when her husband was killed while deployed but the secret her in-laws share leaves her wondering who the man she married really was. These two wonderful characters need something good to happen and it does when they are both forced to take a break away at a luxury resort. This book has lots of emotions, heartaches and surprises, with a very happy ending.
Inked Persuasion and Inked Obsession are both very good stories
I really loved Inked Persuasion - The dynamics of the family were interesting. The kids had taken over the business but the parents couldn't let go, causing all kinds of hard feelings. A new neighbor that thought he hated the main girl (Annabelle), but found he really loved her. Plently of twists and heartbreak in the book and are coming in future books. Can't wait.
In Inked Obsession - Eliza lost her husband to the war, only to find out he was keeping a big secret from her (which devastated her). Beckett had a secret that was eating him up inside until he finally broke. Both of their families made them take a vacation to get their heads on straight and they ended up in the same place. And romance happens. These two had a ways to go to make a relationship work, but they did want to work on it.. And the teaser at the end made you want the next book NOW. A very good read. Carrie Ann Ryan does not disappoint
This is such a great collection!! I read both of them when they first came out, but if you want a good set get this one!
Inked Persuasion:
Annabelle and Jacob both face grief and sadness as Annabelle loses her husband and Jacob a brother, Fate has brought them together as neighbors, the chemistry is deff there they just have to worth thru everything between them and years of coping Love finds a way.
Inked Obsession: I love Beckett and Eliza!! Full of chemistry, this story is so well written. They are both dealing with trauma in their lives. Eliza husband was killed in action and Beckett lost his best friend, so he is always there for Eliza to help out. She has terrible in laws that she needs to kick to the curb and I hated them so much. After loss and heart breaking news , they find they have steamy chemistry. Such a great story!!! Loved it!!
You need this one to add to your collection!! If you have never read Carrie Ann before great place to start!!
♥️Two of the Best in one set ♥️ I loved this story. Brought a few tears to my eyes at some parts but totally worth shedding them. I was so happy that Annabelle and Jacob were able to find each other through all the hurt and everything they went through. And what’s a Montgomery love story without someone taking a trip to the hospital. Lol. These Fort Collins Montgomery’s are just as growly and strong-willed as all the cousins—whether it be the males or females.
This book gave me so my feelings. I love Carrie Ann’s writing. I felt bad for Eliza and what she was going through. I was so happy she found who she is now. And Beckett…what’s a Montgomery without a secret lol. I am so glad he was able to find his HEA with Eliza. This family has gone through a lot with their dad and their business. Seeing them work through it together was amazing.
Inked Persuasion 5+ Stars Grief, anger, sadness, depression all go hand in hand. Some point that anger and hate at others, some bury that sadness and depression in work...but both are avoiding the true issue. Learning things about each other has them both working at a new friendship yet withholding love from each other. Will Jacob finally realize the truth before it's too late or will Annabelle be taken from him before he can get to her...Loved it!!!
Inked Obsession 5+ Stars Secrets, lies, grief makes you feel all out of control and hits Eliza & Beckett in different ways. Coming together on their mind and body get away will they realize they could be each other's everything or will they let the grief keep getting in the way? Loved it❤❤❤❤
This collection ripped my soul apart but then put it back together
The Montgomery Ink Fort Collins collection will stay with you long after you've finished reading it. It has love, loss and the power of the Montgomery's friendship. The characters are unforgettable and very relatable. The writing is beautiful and at times soul destroying, but trust in Carrie Ann Ryan to put your heart back together again. The stories are powerful and moving and I hope you love this collection as much as I did. It's worth all the tears and all the tissues used in reading as you get immersed in the lives and loves of the Montgomery's Fort Collins division - second chance romance that will put your heart, soul and head through the ringer (prepare for the book hangover).
I couldn’t put Inked Persuasion down once I started reading it. The journey that Jacob and Annabelle go through reliving their pasts, the emotions brought to the surface and the pain they work through brought me to tears. I fell in love with Annabelle and Jacob, along with their families as they discovered how they truly felt for each other and I wanted more. I can’t wait for the next book!
Inked Obsession is such a great read. There are emotions that are brought forth by Eliza’s past and the discovery of a recent event that happened to Beckett that left me in tears and heartbroken on their behalf. I loved how they worked through their issues and came together. I can’t wait for the next book.
So many emotions in this book! Everyone finds their way through grief differently and Jacob and Annabelle most certainly coped in very different ways. Fate has brought them back together after years apart. Their chemistry is definitely there but can they work through everything else between them.
Inked Obsession - 4.5 Stars
This is a really good friends to lovers story. Beckett and Eliza are both working through trauma in their lives and could really use someone to help them through it. Love these two and how great they are for each other!
I loved this books separately, but having them together in a set is fabulous!! Unforgettable stories that will make you laugh out loud, tear up, yell at your book, and finish with a happy heart. Inked Persuasion is Annabelle Montgomery's story and Inked Obsession is Beckett Montgomery's story. I fell in love with the whole family and this is a great way to get to know them. Click it now!!
WOW! I read the "original" Montgomery Ink books years ago but never started any of the newer generation books or the spin offs. Why? Who knows but this collection makes me want to binge read them all! These two books had everything you could want. Wonderful characters, steam, drama. heartache, danger and so much more. I was glued to it and did not want to but the book down. LOVED it!
What could be better than 2 amazing stories in one collection?!?! I love everything Montgomery Ink and these 2 are no exception. Excellent stories with amazing character development and wonderful plots. I loved revisiting with Annabelle and Jacob again along with Eliza and Beckett and the entire Montgomery clan.
A Montgomery Ink: Fort Collins Collection includes the first two books in the series. Usually with series, I like to read the books as they are released because I am always “patiently waiting” for the next book. But I have to say that after reading this collection with the first two books, I had to seriously do some binge reading. Actually, reading the entire series in order all at once was kinda of nice. I didn’t have to go back and refresh my memory of the previous books. Inked Persuasion is the first book in the series, and I was hooked from the beginning. It has an enemy-to-lover troupe and the author slowly reveals Jacob and Annabelle’s history and the reason why Jacob has so much anger towards Annabelle. I loved watching their slow-burn romance grow as they were forced into each other’s lives. Inked Obsession is the second book in the series and again it drew me in from the beginning. I love the Wilder family and the brothers series, so I was very excited to finally get the chance to read Eliza’s story. And of course, a Montgomery fills the role of the male main character so I knew it would be great. I really enjoyed reading this collection and instantly went to binge-read the entire series after reading it. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
