Bringing an additional lady into his life wasn't in Theodore “Rux” Reed‘s life plan, but you know what they say about the best laid plans... When the perfect woman is literally dropped at his doorstep, he was powerless to resist the desire to get to know her.

This one started really slow for me but once it picked up I feel totally and completely in love with the storyline and characters, lack of steamy & spicy scenes and all.
Who knew posting dating ad(analog dating) in the newspaper and letter writing would be this fun? Ha! Not me but it really was.
I loved Kai & Rux’s mature level of communication and honesty about their past. Rux really was that kind, loving, patience and respectful guy. I loved Kai’s girl group, they were super fun and amazing.

Someone Seeking Someone Else was a very sweet and fun read. I really loved the concept of this book. The whole analog approach to dating might just be it. Kai and Rux were super cute. I enjoyed their courtship and the way they approached the idea of dating each other. It was definitely out of the ordinary. Their chosen form of communication with each other by way of letters was so romantic. Kai frustrated me a lot throughout this book. She had some residual pain from a previous relationship that she was holding on to and Rux's former f*ckboy ways didn't necessarily help her get over that hump of hurt. When it came to her and Rux's relationship, Kai seem to have a problem making decisions without deferring to Corin or Tina and that really annoyed me. Like, you're a grown azz woman who should be able to make life choices on her own. But, in the end, Rux proved to be completely honest about his past, respectful of her decision to want to move slow, loyal, loving, and patient which finally won Kai over. My only complaint would be, there was no sex. Y'all know I don't entertain books with no sex but honestly, it was so good, I really can't complain. Someone Seeking Someone Else was a very romantic book and I highly recommend it. I'm hoping we'll eventually get book two. I'm looking forward to reading about Tina and Jacques.

What a super fun read!!
Kai took a bold chance and put out an ad about seeking a boyfriend in the paper. The thought alone gave a mild panic attack cause I could never and would never. Too many weirdos out there. But this worked out beautifully for Kai. Rux responded to the ad and got to know one another through letters. Even though I have my reservations about the ad, the approach was different and admirable and I love the idea of getting to know someone through pen pal.
Both Kai and Rux’s past played a major role in their coupling. I love the dialogue and the way they communicated and the repartee between the friends was just perfect.
Book 4.8/5

Back to the Basics

When I first saw this book and read the synopsis of what it was about I wasn't fully interested. I also knew that Nicole Falls is a great writer.

So, I downloaded and started to read it, I read this book within hours. I loved the old-school penmanship between Kai and Rux. It's beginning to get more and rarer to even see someone write in cursive. I know a lot of schools don't even teach cursive anymore. Rux and Kai are going to have the old-school love that leads to that 40-year relationship. She moved into his condo versus his house with him which was also an old-school move.

This was a great read from start to finish. I am glad that Kai and Rux found each other as well as the mother of Rux's child finding love. I also like the fact that the couples in this book were in their thirties.

I'm looking forward to the next book, I'm just guessing that it would be Tina the sister-cousin finding her love.

3.5 stars I really like this author’s writing and I liked the characters here. It might just be my mood, but the story was just kind of boring for me.

Seek and you shall find

Loved it!

There may be more to life than...but what happens when you have it all but crave more?

This book is about a woman who is self made, beautiful, successful, fun but realizing she is lonely and the steps she takes to rectify this state. Along the way she does something brought on by desperation and anxiety that is totally out of the box. But it pans out. Now she has decisions to make - acknowledge her feelings, deal with past issues and hurt, put her heart on the line, make a clean break, or choose to follow her gut. Is Rux the one she’s been seeking?

More to Life

Nicole Falls is a rom-com genius. When you aren't laughing at the lines and antics of her characters, you're probably filled with anxiety or frustration for them. This was a light, easy read with just enough drama to make it interesting without making you dislike any of the characters.
Kai is independent yet gun-shy when it comes to relationships, so she decides search for a man the old-fashioned way.
Rux is a single dad trying to navigate life after being the local "meat man". What happens when they realize they have an instant attraction to one another and they share more than the need for companionship.

It saddens me to give a low star for a Nicole Falls book, but I just could not finish this one. There is just too much talking and not enough excitement. I got 61% in and had to give up. This book is not for me.

This book is like a Morsel of Chocolate 🍫

This book is like a Morsel of chocolate 🍫... savor each piece bite by bite! I truly enjoyed Kia and Rux journey to love and happiness! I love the process of them getting to know one another the ole school way... pen and paper! Not the instant gratification that we find ourselves in now! I think 🤔 that’s where we have fallen off in today’s relationships! The lack of communication! Rux was at a place in his life that he wanted to form that type of relationship with Kia; to be completely open on all levels! Kia needed exactly that. Rux provided complete honesty, loyalty, and receptive communication! I would have to say Nicole Falls that this book was a bit different from your other books but I enjoyed the process! Well done 💕💕💕! I can’t wait for your next installment!

Old fashioned meeting

What happens when you have everything you want career wise but no one special to share it with? Kai decides to go the new age way of dating apps, at first. Once she has a particularly odd encounter at Applebees, she decides to impulsively put an ad in the paper. That ad turns into an interesting and sweet situation with Rux. There were plenty of humorous moments with little Harlow stealing the spotlight. Kai's sisterhood with Celestine and Corin was really strong. Wes and Rux were pretty great guys.
Overall, this story was well written with plenty of likeable characters. Once
Kai got out of her head and followed her heart, magic happened. Great job

Fans and Fun

Although this story did not have the amount of laugh out loud moments we usually get in a NFs story, I still loved it. Yes, this story was slightly different from others, but I'm not sure it would've had the same message with more comical scenes. The couple needed a serious story to tackle their relationship in earnest. The author delivered that hands down. The usual family fun issues did its part in the tale. The cute kid made me smile and the couple was the right someone for the other.

All she needed

How to describe a story of past heartache, lost love, found love, and destined future life partner. Welp Ms. Falls did not disappoint I loved Rux and Kai there individual personalities flowed off the pages and the supporting staff was funny and made the story work and what more can you ask for. This story is one of those off chance meet ups that is so weird you think really but once you see the story develop you think it couldn’t have happened any other way. Rux is one book bae for the record books!

Wonderful Story

What a novel concept nowadays, taking out a personal ad in the newspaper! I loved Kai & Rux's old school letter writing. That they were so closely connected and had barely any contact was crazy. And that first meeting, OMG, it melted my heart! I was sad when things went left, but I understood why and it was more than realistic for the feelings on both sides. I really liked the pace and progression of this story. This was a great story! Five Stars🌟!

Delightfully humorous and love ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The story of Rux and Kai an absolute delight. I had a smile 😁 on my face which broke into laughter 🤣 from the very beginning of this book. The characters in the book are just great. The two little girls ( Harlow and Pen) in the book are so funny to me. I must say you are one of the authors I look forward to reading and as always it's was my pleasure. Anxiously waiting for part 2.

Very different twist

I enjoyed Rux and Kai's story, I thought it was funny and real. Rux was a recovering f-boy and Kai was looking for companionship. The two construct a relationship from using an untraditional means but they surprisingly take things slowly and build from there. I would have liked some details during their eventual, long awaited sexy times but that didn't happen 😞. Come on! Give a girl something to look forward to!

A cute little read...

This was a good story. Wasn’t as funny as her other books and it was a bit drier than normal. But it was a good love story about two people that overcame their own internal battles and find each other. I was a bit confused why she was adamant about wanting to place an ad in the newspaper, but I guess it worked out for her in the end.

3 stars b/c it wasn’t my favorite and I couldn’t wait to be done with it.

It’s the little things...

That make love stories great. Cuzzo Nig, I truly enjoyed this novel. It was out or the box and truly different from your other books. Writing letters is archaic but I have a love and appreciation for it. This was a book that a sex scene didn’t have to be needed to understand these two complex soulmates. I can’t wait to see what you come up with book two.

Love this lady!

Nicole Falls never ceases to amaze me. This was a different look, but I didn’t love it any less. I loved the old school vibe with writing letters. It took me back to when I was writing letters in high school. Dam it man, this book just had me all caught up in feelings on so many levels. For the record tho, there are no surprise babies much to my chagrin...😉🤣

It all started with a personal ad ...

This book was awesome. Funny and witty. Romantic and a little old school. I enjoyed Rux and Kai from start to finish...even during the rough patch. Thank you Nicole Falls for writing believeable, messy characters who go through emotions and phases that I find relatable. Great as usual.

I really enjoyed this book. Kai and Rux just clicked. Their friends and family had me cutting up. And the kids were something else too

Kai said, in her mini speech to Rux that he never asked her why she placed the ad. But he did, in the last two questions in his last letter to her. She just never answered

When they were apart it was such torture. Glad they got it together bc they just fit

Couldn’t put down

This was a beautiful story. I like the old school methods that were used. I think the writing letters back and forth gave them a better chance to connect with each other. Kai frustrated me a little but I understood why she was like that. So glad everything worked out for them.

I love this book because it’s so true when it comes to online dating. Also I’m I the only one that cried for Rux? Wow a true writer can invoke emotions from their audience with just their words! That’s what you are Ms Falls, wonderful book with characters we all can relate to!! Great read!

Seeking love...

Very sweet and fun read. I love the idea of the analog approach to dating and courting. I was frustrated with Kai's panic attack, but forgave her for the courage she found to presson. Rux sounded like a dream cone true.

Too...Many...Ellipses...?

Makes the conversation and stream of consciousness stilted and awkward instead of natural, which I assume the writer was going for. I found them quite disruptive.

The characters were also all the same person.
