Chocolate Flava: The Eroticanoir.com Anthology

Rate this book

As a bestselling author and successful publisher of Strebor Books, Zane's name is synonymous with popular fiction -- especially erotica. Her website, Eroticanoir.com, gets over a million hits a year from around the world, and her fans look forward to every one of her publishing ventures with eager anticipation.

Chocolate Flava is the first in a series of collections of great erotic fiction edited by Zane, the reigning queen of erotica. Based on the Featured Erotica section of her website, Chocolate Flava gathers twenty-five sizzling tales from some of the most talented -- and dedicated -- writers of erotica working today.

This is a his-and-her collection. There are stories specifically written with female readers in mind, and others written expressly for men. Among the contributors are names already familiar to readers of erotica, such as Reginald Harris, Robert Edison Sandiford, Jonathan Luckett and, of course, Zane -- as well as emerging voices, such as Geneva Barnes and Robert Scott Adams. What they all have in common is that they are great at what they do, and have been handpicked by Zane -- an editor who knows a hot story when she sees it.

Zane wanted stories "that took risks, that explored unique situations, that were creative beyond compare." She wanted to show that men and women can equally express themselves through the medium of erotic fiction. She wanted stories that would turn her on. This collection of selected sexy short stories will turn you on, too.

the name of my book is called chocolate flava by zane.chocolate flave is broken down into three storys.the gerne of the book is fiction. The theme of the book is people should be able to have sexual intercorses while the living because they only have one life to live.
well the story that i read was "ladies first".in chapter 1 lfe Ayodele was the writer.this was about someone a girl name carrie who has finally made it home to her family.back in 1995 carrie didnt really have no time for a man,she had her mind set on the her job and designing her own line.there was a guy name nasir who use to always be at the metrobus stop with her.she though he looked like rick fox just a little darker.the whole story basicly about carrie and how she is fouced on one thing.she has a sexual life on the side but she only brings it out when nessary.her friends thinks that she need to leave her work stuff alone and sit back and have fun but she still thinks her future come before her fun days.her friends and her think they should live the sexually life while they can.
my reaction to the book was wow beacause the way it ended was just crazy.my favorite charater is carrie because she knew what she wanted she was more focused on her carrer.she is a very smart girl and she has a very good heart which she didnt let no man take advantage of that good heart of hers.I can picture every moment in the book and some of it reminded me of myself and old times.the charater that i think was most vivid was nasir.the book was kind of confusing in the middle because carrie kind changed from the begining of the book.this book reminds me off my mom and how she acts when shes with friends and also all she thinks about is her future which is doing hair opening up her own salon.
the people who i think will enjoy this book is is mature readers, teenages, women, parents, and men.this book is not a goood book for girls or boys under the age of 15,and also not ment for little kids.if you liked the book secrets in the shadow then you would like this book because it has alot to do with relationships and many held in secrets.this is a really good book this will keep you wanting to read more and more of his books.

Tis' the morning after and this book was my my first dabble in erotica fiction. My first 1-night stand.....no introductions.

Whew!

Heelllllooooo Zane!

This book demands to be read in the cloak of darkness, not for ambiance, but for privacy. This is NOT your low key smut book. Oh, no the characters are sexual being without apology. This was the explanation point in the era of India Aire's “Brown Skin”, it'll steam up your glasses, and make the elderly blush. I refuse to give a more descriptive summary. What happens in a Zane book, stays in a Zane book...........and everywhere else, (wink) until laundry day.

A conflict in this book is when a women had just dealt with the death of her husband, which was a cop. She had be taken care of by his partner who has been in love with her since the first time he has seen her. They have known eachother for years. She had to worry about being in love with her husband's partner. She felt as if she was wrong for sleeping with him, knowing that her husband had so much trust in his partner with his wife and child. She loves her husband so much but she cant help the way she feels about her husband's partner, Jake.

Zane is an incredible author. She always give an excellent story with a lot of steamy sex. This book is over the top. It delivered everything that I expected.

This book brings you to a secret place, meaning if you have never been a freak in your life or never felt like exploring the wild side you won't enjoy this book but if you are open to possibilities you will have great pleasure in reading it.

I read this not too long ago.

I recommend the Black community read it rather than the Caucasian community.

Nothing personal, just something I feel that should be reflected before you read it.

Read it, Chocolate Flava's a GREAT book.

This book was okay. Was a collection of short stories from a lot of different authors. As a reader you do have the chance to experience different styles of writing, some grimy, some romantic, some poetic, some just flat out boring. You get my drift.

Was interesting, sometimes Zane's books can circle around one idea and rarely generate new ones.

These stories were awful. Some of them I skipped because I was so bored I couldn't bring myself to finish them. I glad I didn't read this one first, I wouldn't have read any of the others.

Well, at the recommendation of my adult literacy student, I have now read a full collection of erotic stories by Zane & others. And I did enjoy them. Some were disturbing, some were sexy, and some were downright funny. But I had fun reading them all, and can't wait to discuss with my student.
