I did this as an audio book! It wasn’t anything crazy I took out of it but is a good for basics on dating.

I think the mixed reviews for this book have more to do with the personal expectations of some, than the actual content of the book. The original cover may have been deceptive, especially if anyone purchased this book for a get-a-mate plan. It's not about that, though that could be a result of dating inward (having a deeper relationship with self) and dating upward (having a rock-solid friendship with Jesus). With that being said, the content was excellent, complete, and confirming for me. If the desire is for sustainable and fulfilling lifelong relationships that are not superficial, then this is a blessed guide. If you are about quick fixes, shortcuts, and settling, this is not the book for you. This book is five-star to me. I kind of wish I'd known about it 10 years ago. Maybe I would not have seemed so weird, even to myself, for appreciating my joyfully single life, in Christ Jesus.

* I wish there was a way to upload the cover of the edition that I read: black background, red heart, red and white lettering, no people. It is much more universal than the advertised cover. Many who would benefit from books like this tend to bypass them because the target audience, as indicated by the advertised book cover, implies it's not for them. *

It gives you insight by giving you honest help on the different seasons of dating to help you grow in the Lord and your dating relationship and how to over come things in your past that might hinder you and how to have a emotional healthy relationship and while dating to set boundaries you don’t cross you don’t do certain things because those things are saved for marriage and remember it’s a three some me you and Jesus and how together rid of things in your past that might me hinering you from having the relationship you want that could lead to your marriage partner it helps you reflect in things that help you have a Christ centered relationship
