H.P. Lovecraft, Cthulhu Mythos,"Steampunk" Autobots, Deep ones and Y'ha-ntlei, Nicola Tesla, Vampires, Dungeons & Dragons, an elvish & dwarvish "Holmes & Watson" pair, G.I. Joe, 30 days of nights, Tmnt, Shub-Niggurath, Danger Girl, Area 51 aliens, The Blob (!!!), Simpsons' Moe's tavern (!!!) and a nice critic analysis of american comics. Had a nerd-gasm reading this :D

These are mostly misses, with the TMNT segment being my favorite with superb art. I would really have liked something more to it than tentacles and mindless possessed people, but that's the extent of the Lovecraft influence. The Transformers segment was utterly ridiculous, with .

The TMNT and G.I. Joe segments were decent, but I thought this would be more of a team up rather than a bunch of standalone stories loosely connected by the monsters of H.P. Lovecraft.

This was a lot worse than expected. While I don't expect too much from crossover events, this one didn't even have the various characters working together outside their comic book titles and hardly presented the Lovecraftian horrors in their full glory. Oh well.
