This is a remember-where-I-was-when-I-read-it book. Laying across the quilt at my grandparents house sobbing because it so devastated and inspired me at the same time. Nona Freeman is a hero of the faith to me and all of her books opened up a spiritual world to me wherein God was capable of much more than I ever imagined. But this book stands out as the watermark in my life where Jesus met me and pushed me into beginning to live a consecrated, whatever-the-sacrifice kind of life.

The moment I picked this book up I couldn't put it down. Very powerful and insightful in what others have gone through for the work of God. I mark this as a must read for everyone...

This book really opens your eyes to God's wonderful works. I was amazed by the stories of the moving of God's spirit and shocked by the struggles and burdens these people went through. A great story to build faith.
