What fun I had reading this newest book by Eden Bloom!
Raine, who anticipates enjoying the quiet of her parent’s home while working on her first romance novel, finds her plans blown up when they inform her that remodeling work on the house is to begin immediately. She ends up moving into her brother’s place – but it is also currently occupied by Blake, who is a famous musician.
Eden Bloom puts the two in situations where they learn that they share mutual interests and have faced some of the same serious problems. This discovery makes them less awkward with each other. Happily Ever Laughter is a romantic comedy, so there are plenty of moments that will leave you laughing. She effortlessly leads us from two people merely tolerating each other to the discovery that they have found true love. The book is well written, full of surprises, and simply a joy to read.
I was provided with an early copy by the author with no promise of a positive review. However, the title lived up to it’s name, and I am happy to say that I very much enjoyed this book. Any opinion expressed here is voluntarily given and is strictly my own.
This story is full of fun moments and sweet romance. It’s the fourth book in the Misty Fall Romance collection by Eden Bloom and I feel like I’m getting to know these characters and community so much better. This is Raine’s story and all she wants is to have a little quiet to write her book, but that doesn’t seem to be happening. It seems everything is against her. Enter a dashing rock star, with a sweet accent, and her life just gets more and more complicated. In this book, there is humor, crazy banter, many klutzy moments, and lots of romantic tension. I really had a delightful time reading this book. It flowed so smoothly that I didn’t want to put it down. Eden Bloom is a fun author who will delight you and keep you reading. If you want to read a clean, romantic, fun, and quick-to-read book, then this author is someone you should check out! I recommend you pick this book up and enjoy a sweet story. I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
A fun book about a woman (Raine) who is focused solely focused on writing a romance novel, hiding a toxic relationship with an ex, and has sworn off men. Then there's Blaze. A rock star hiding out in Raine's brother's house as he distances himself from his 3 band mates who have been arrested for assorted drug charges. Blaze is eager to reinvent himself musically and sequestered in a friend's empty house, is descended on by his former band mates, as well as Raine when she is forced to leave her home. Songs are written and a book completed in spite of the confusion. When pasts and present collide, it gets interesting! This was a short book and thus a lot of details felt rushed, and I would have enjoyed more extended details and interaction between characters.
Another cute and quick read! I really liked the characters and that both of them had problems they had to work through. The whole rock star becoming her roommate was fun and I loved their dynamic. 😁 My reason for 4 stars is that through the whole book Raine says over and over how she’ll never date again and wants to be single forever. She’s gotten out of a really bad and toxic relationship and is still dealing with that. Then suddenly out of nowhere she and Blaze kiss, and then keep kissing, start dating, and say the love word with zero change of mind or warning that she’s opening up to the idea of dating. It just felt so out of place to me. That plus some things revolving the conflict near the end made it 4 stars, but I still really enjoyed this book!
I love this series and I love visiting Misty Falls and all of it wonderful characters. This times it’s Raine’s story as she hopes for some quiet time to write her romance novel and winds up with a roommate, a hot and sexy roommate, Blaize whose in hiding from his band mates and fans. It’s a well written, funny and heartfelt story that had me laughing out loud in places and swooning in others. Both Raine and Blaize have had rough relationships that ended badly and it was great to see them work through their differences to a fantastic ending.
I love the Fletcher's family so I'm happy Raine got her own story and what a great one! She's working on a secret project while still fighting with old demons when her brother asks her to check on the rock star hiding in his house. Little did she know what she gets herself in and there are some mean twists but all the sweet moments made my eyes wet 🥹 I'm a sucker for love stories.
Well done, this is series is definitely one of my faves. Thanks for the ARC, hope my review helps many others.
This book was exactly what I needed - a romantic comedy set in a quaint little town. It’s not all laughs though, as the story also addresses some serious issues. I enjoyed the back-and-forth between the two main characters. There were a few laugh out loud moments, and various interruptions to their well thought out plans added to the character of the story.
I received an advance copy of the book and am voluntarily leaving this review.
I chuckled so many times while reading this book. It’s has all the feels. Poor Raine, if it can go wrong it usually does. She has a horrible ex boyfriend and she’s been terribly hurt. Blaze is a rock god who has also been hurt in the past. There are some funny band mates and an adorable pig to add humor to it all. I highly recommend this book.
A beautiful slow burn romance with lots of emotions and laughs. There are some serious topics handled in the storyline but they are handled well. Raine and Blaze ending up sharing a house with his band mates is a fun twist to the forced proximity genre. This is a fun story which is hard to put down.
I love this entire Misty Falls series! Raine has made appearances in the other books of the series, and now she finally gets a chance at her own Happily Ever After, this time with a rockstar who is redefining his musculature and stepping on his own with a solo career as Raine unwittingly becomes his muse. Sweet and filled with instalove angst, this book will not disappoint!
Did a lot of telling instead of showing. Although I liked the concept (hence two stars instead of one)it was lacking a lot. I never felt the connection between the main characters and it moved really quickly to the HEA without it feeling at all satisfying. Maybe this was too “clean” of a book for me because I felt like they didn’t have some pretty important conversations and no mention of anything beyond kissing…then getting married??!? What?

This was such an easy, fun and entertaining story. I love Raine and how she's sworn off love and then unexpectedly is thrown together with Blaze who is trying to forge a new path for himself. Sweet read.
Eden Bloom has taken the reading community by surprise, with each book she publishes, I fall in love a little more. This fun story with Raine and Blaze is perfect and you will love Wilbur! I can't wait for another sweet, clean and fun book by Eden!
A quick, enjoyable read with so many great scenes about how some writers get through writing their very first book, in secret from everyone. Then there’s the songwriter trying to satisfy his agent. It all comes together in a very satisfying ending.
I got this on one of the stuff your kindle days. I thought it was cute at first but as everything got more complicated towards the end, the writing felt rushed. To be honest, I mostly read this high and I think that’s the best state of mind for reading this book
This was a cute, quick read. Since it’s shorter in length conflicts were resolved a little bit too quickly. I found the story a bit repetitive at times, but overall I enjoyed the story.
While this book had some serious topics it also had some very comical moments as well. I laughed out loud many times. Raine and Blaze - love those names. Their first couple of meetings are funny. His band and the pig added some laughter as well. Loved seeing these two work out their problems separately and as a team. Loved loved the ending. Wish there was another sibling LOL.
