Ebook: AVA (Double Gun Dealer Series Novella) Author: Rue Volley Fiction, Paranormal, This review may contain spoilers I was given this by the author for an honest review Summary: Ava is a waitress in a shitty diner in the heart of New York City. Sai is a mysterious stranger who suddenly appears out of nowhere and seems to bring the wrath of hell with him. Sometimes it is better to just keep to yourself, but in Ava's case, this could never be...Sai not only brings hell with him, he also brings all the answers to who and what Ava really is and sets her on the path she was destined to walk. Sexy, action packed with smoking hot love scenes, two guns are definitely better than one. The Review As a novella this story hits the spot just right, Rue Volley certainly knows how to get the juices flowing, well she gets my juices flowing, At the end of this novella there is a section about Salem, which is book 2 in this series, which really makes me want to read it baaaad, In this one we have Sai and Ava, I gotta say I loved Sai, I am glad he came into Ava’s life when he did, Such a shame they never had longer together, I would love to have seen how that evolved, Ava had a quick wit, which had me laughing while reading this one, I love that she had pink hair, not your plain old brown, Sai sounded yummy and it brought a tear to my eye near the end, won’t say too much because of spoilers, but damn Miss Volley, the sex was as hot as it is always is when written by you, It is what you are so good at, I would highly recommend this one after a short and sexy read with a paranormal twist, 5/5 Buy link & where to find the author Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Double-Dealer-S... My review for: AVA by Rue Volley My rating: 5 out of 5 stars Shanna Roberson
Wow. Give me a second, I am still reeling. I didn’t think it was possible to love another series as much as I love Rue Volley’s Hunter’s Blood series but look here . . . Rue has done it again!
Ava is a smart-mouthed waitress in a dirty little hole in the wall diner. Orphaned earlier on, she has always kept others at arm’s length. And she was content. Well, sort of. There was always something missing and not just the ability to dream. It was a deeper need and she didn’t know then but she was able have a crash course into what she really was and what’s been missing in her life.
And after an odd conversation with a deliciously hot stranger on her lunch break, she hadn’t a clue of how much her life was about to change. Enter Saigon, a dark and seductive specimen of a man and all hell breaks loose. Literally. And now Ava has a choice to make to accept her destiny and give in to her true nature or pretend this sexy stranger didn’t just kill a winged demon in front of her. Oh, not a chance.
Rue delivers an action-packed, fast paced journey with a sexy hero and an even sexier heroine. I haven’t fallen this hard for a fictional character since Hunter from her Hunter’s Blood Series. Ava’s crass tongue and quick wit won me over just as much as Sai’s seductive presence. AVA has it all. It will leave you breathless, toes curled and begging for more!
Waning: This is an 18+ Read Only I was given an e-copy of this first intallment in exchange for an honest review. Rue never ceases to amaze me with her stories. AVA is a fresh spin on demon and erotic reads. I throughly enjoyed it. Thanks Rue.
Meet Ava, a waitress in a crappy diner, whom has no idea of who or what she really is... until she meets Sai... he has his own way of opening her eyes to the truth.. I will just say that the world is amazing and the characters are humoreous in their banter. Action-packed fight scenes and sensuality make this a great read.
I am so looking forward to seeing where she takes the characters.. as this slotted to be a 6 part short story series...
Ava is an average girl that works for a dump diner as a waitress. She finds out later that she is much more than that. However, she's hard working and keeps to herself before.. well, Mr. Sexy walks in.. and rocks her body..and next thing she knew, he was throwing her into a world that she never knew existed before him. Her whole life takes a 360 degree turn for the worst.. or is it for the better? She becomes something stronger and meaner.. but still has her passionate side. This book is full of very interesting twists and surprises that's typical Rue style. You have to read this book and find out.
I'm a big fan of Rue Volley for a reason.. and her erotica stories are by far some of the best I have read.
10*s. I recieved an eARC copy of this book directly from the author in return for an honest review. Hot damn, I totally love this first book in a smoking hot new series by Rue Volley. Sex, demons, and demon hunters makes this a very spicy and intriguing story that kept me glued from beginning to end. Its a MUST read ADULTS only short story that will tantilize your taste buds, get your heart pumping, and give you a huge adrenaline rush that you will never forget!!
CAUTION: Due to sex and graphic violence, reader discretion is advised
Thank you, Rue Volley, for another amazing story for me to sink my teeth into!!
I was given this book by the author in return for an honest review.
What can I say, A fantastic story of hot sex and paranormal. This is not as dark as some of the books by this author. But fantastic enough that I wanna read the rest of the series. In this book we follow Orphaned Ava as she goes from working in a crappy diner to finding out that she is in fact a Hunter for her to then become a Tracker as well, this was a great and easy read.
I remember reading part one in an anthology before, possibly "Bella Morte" from Hot Ink. I like the addition of part two, and i was as drawn into the story as much now as when I first discovered it.
The imagery in this one is top notch, being very visual in a comic book way. Maybe that's how I formed things mentally based on the cover. Either way, if you dig a quick read with adrenaline, demons, magick, gun fights, and sultry love scenes, you should grab this one.
This is a fast paced read. I wish it had been longer, given more details, but it definitely is able to hook you in! I like a strong female in books! It's refreshing. I look forward to reading the rest of the series!
I liked this book alot. Then I got to the last of the series Saigon and wished that Ava was the last one so it could really end. I feel like I'm hangin' here.
