A little green alien lives in space. This book is delightful there are sentences that have pictures in with the words great for kindergarten and first. the illustrations are good for picture walks . might not work well for a read aloud because each child would need to be able to see the book at all times...a great book to have students read aloud to you. This book can be used as a read to write book and also for independent reading

I wish there were more picture (rebus) readers available! The little boy I read to will be 3 in a little over 4 months and he was able to help me read the book on the first read through. He often repeats what I read as I'm reading and can sit through some pretty long stories. He especially liked the swings and slide in this book.
