Super short book of animal puns. Some puns had me laughing outright and some were just okay. (The wrens and the chipmunk and the donkey were my favorites.)

The illustrations were detailed and vivid, and completely captured our attention. I would read the pun and then we’d stay to see how the illustrator had added to the word play in his art.

A collection of terrible puns and only mediocre illustrations. This book is awful. I need to buy at least six copies to give as presents to specific loved ones

I thought that the animal puns in this book were hilarious, what I didn't care for was the artwork, it just didn't appeal to me that much, and I thought that some of the pictures were on the border line of grotesque. Norton Juster always cracks me up, I'd recommend this book, but be wary of the illustrations.

I would've given it 3 stars, but my 8-year-old says it's her new favorite library book.

Cute. More word play. Not as much fun as Stark Naked, but sure to bring a smile to your face.

This book is by the same author who wrote The Phantom Tollbooth: the GOAT kids book. He's also an architect. Lots of puns. Good kids book but would be hard to explain.
