First published in 1935, this collection of the famous Bulgarian anti-imperialist writings includes his Final Speech at the Reichstag Fire Trial in Germany, where he was accused of starting the fire.
Georgi Dimitrov Mikhaylov (Bulgarian: Георги Димитров Михайлов), also known as Georgi Mikhaylovich Dimitrov (Russian: Георгий Михайлович Димитров) and Georgi Dimitroff, was a Bulgarian communist politician. He was the first communist leader of Bulgaria, from 1946 to 1949. Dimitrov led the Communist International from 1934 to 1943.
Absolutely fantastic collection of Dimitrov’s writings worth reading from not only the perspective of a historical understanding of the Comintern but also in aid of improves ones understanding of the Communist movement today and what one can do within it. Was slow to read just because I’ve been a bit busy recently hopefully can now crack on and beat my target for the year.
