I, um, what? I really don't know what to make of this book.

I guess it is supposed to be a nice book on how kind is the greatest thing a person can be but...
Well, my hesitation began with the description of a man having "a ladyfriend with overly large BREASTS (yes it was capitalised) and overly tight outfits", complete with a rather disturbing picture.

It turns communist and they all end up swimming "NAKED together in the soft warm waters of LOVELINESS" (admittedly my dyslexia kicked in at that point and I read it as lonliness qhich made it a little creepier)

.....is this a children's book????

To whoever might be reading this: you are not special for being "nice". No one wants to be around someone else for being "nice". Get a personality or work on yourself, and maybe you'll get somewhere.

Well... The pictures were kind of cute. It took me all of two minutes to read this. For every stick picture, there is a sentence or two. The story was light-hearted and cute. I wanted something witty or hilarious to happen in the end, but I was met with strangeness. It came off as if he was trying to make a cute ending but failed slightly. Unless Monkton is just that good at being nonchalantly creepy. It was okay. Maybe I will give him another shot.

This is an interesting journey! It has many implicit points that books with hundreds of dense pages can't really get across, let alone with that clarity and ease. However, the return feels weird for a simple reason: we become our true self in the end, not our raw self.

Feeling groovy.

Good read. Brought a smile to my face, and left me feeling happier about my date tomorrow.
I recommend it.
