In 1987 Medley along with songwriter Jennifer Warnes hit number one with the song (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life from the movie Dirty Dancing starring Patrick Swayze. In 1990, Unchained Melody became a hit once again when it appeared in the film Ghost also starring Patrick Swayze with Demi Moore.
The Righteous Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. Despite the fact that Medley lost his singing partner, Bobby Hatfield in 2003, he continues to record and tour.
