Rate this book
Lena is freshly divorced and eager to begin her singlehood journey after leaving her HS sweetheart, Dale.

She soon finds herself captivated with desire over Jack, a much older man who she's known for many years. Who, unbeknownst to her, indulges in things she could only summon up in her wildest dreams.

He introduces her to one of his parties, and she begins to wonder if she's in over her head.

She finds herself falling for a man who is not only forbidden to her, but who is also the definition of anti-commitment.

Meanwhile, her ex is hard at work, becoming the person she had always wished he was.

She feels her heart being pulled in a million different directions and can only hope she finds the right path to choose.

This is a story of figuring out who you are and what you like after getting out of a long-term relationship.

***SPOILERS***

Lena is in the midst of divorcing her high school sweetheart, Dale, and moving out when she starts her sexual awakening. And I tell you AWAKENING with the help of her father’s best friend. There’s soooooo much spice, right from the get-go, and so many different kinds. There are one-stands, orgies, anal, age-gap, and more!

I’ll admit that at times the pacing is a little weird and fast, but that’s a given with a book slightly over 200 pages, and it can get a little corny, but I honestly, couldn’t put the book down.

I loved to see the comparisons between Lena and Dale in the aftermath of their divorce, and how his growth was essentially what their relationship needed. You could tell that Lena was just trying to satisfy her id, but she was basically getting dick-matized by Jack.

I was just glad to see the story come to a full circle at the end. Will definitely keep an eye out for more from Cora Quinn!

When Lena finally divorces Dale, she figured that she'll finally figure out what she likes and desires for herself.
Her dad's best friend Jack is the perfect candidate for the road of self-discovery. Once he allows himself to give into his attraction, it gets super hot, crazy fast and it's delicious!! Jack helps Lena discover things about herself she never knew she wanted and introduces her to his special parties so she can explore anything she could imagine but has to keep it secret about her and Jack.
Meanwhile, ex husband Dale starts working on himself and becoming the man she wanted him to be. Lena feels conflicting emotions for both men.
There is a twist near the end that completely took me by surprise and I really didn't know what would happen or who Lena would end up with.
I will say that I was thrilled with how things ended for Lena and she gets the happily ever after she deserved all along.

This book was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.

I got about 25% of the way through, and it ended up being a DNF for me.

I understood the concept, and the storyline had potential, but I felt the FMC was a little immature in her ways. The guy she was desperate for is 28 years her senior and she just wouldn’t take no for an answer, doing and saying some over-the-top things.

Don’t write the book off, because you may have your own opinion! I’m always willing to give a book a shot. This one just wasn’t for me.

Thank you for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first book by this author and it won’t be my last. I really loved the characters and plot.

This was seriously such an entertaining story I read it in one sitting. A shorter book but can read in one sitting.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. But it kind of felt like I was left hanging as far as the storyline for Jack went. What happened there? Was he ever confronted? Could've made it a really good plot twist. But I really enjoyed the book.
