About the author

After almost 27 years of marriage Sharon's beloved husband Michael passed away in 2014. Together they had a life filled with adventure, laughter and unconditional love. She considers herself blessed to have been loved that way. She has three grown children and a busy cat named Sparky.

Her love for mystery and suspense began in the fifth grade, when she found a whole set of Nancy Drew mysteries with pink covers in the school library. Sharon is the author of five humorous mysteries that were written for Christian readers. Her second book in her Ruby Taylor mystery series was voted book of the year by American Christian Fiction Writers. She has written over thirty books for Love Inspired Suspense many of which have appeared on USA Today Bestseller lists. Night Prey (Love Inspired Suspense) won the Carol Award from American Christian fiction writers.

Sharon has a bachelor's degree in film production and a master's degree in history. She loves old movies like Double Indemnity and anything by Frank Capra or Alfred Hitchcock. Usually I like the books this author writes. However, this book just didn’t ring true with me. First off, I normally like books about the US Marshalls. I appreciate the men and women in law enforcement and what they do. That said, this book was so unbelievable in places. It reads more like the script to an action movie than a book story. Too many run ins with the bad guys to be totally believable. In real life you can’t keep getting attacked and getting away. Maybe Hollywood will take note and turn this book into an action movie. It would probably be a blockbuster.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Montana Witness Chase. I'm a big fan of Sharon's and I'm always glad to get one of her books in the mail. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of intrigue. I know you are going to love it.

Hope Miller is in witness protection after testifying against her brother's killer. Her handler brought her to her new home in Whitetail, Wyoming. Her apartment was over the pizza place. She watched the marshal drive away. She was so alone.

U. S. Marshal Andrew Lewis drove Hope to her new home. He didn't know why he felt so protective for this witness. As they drove through town there was a crowd of people, an Art Walk, Hope told him. A man pounded on the hood of his car as he crawled by. The man looked familiar. As he drove out of town he remembered the man, a hired assassin. Hope was in trouble.

A terrifying journey to stay one step ahead of a cold blooded killer. God has a plan for these two. A plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for harm. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your live, even in this time of chaos.

I am exhausted! Sharon Dunn has a well written story that is FULL of action and suspense!
Hope Miller has to go into witness protection because she witnessed her brother’s murder at the hands of drug cartel. However, she is attacked when she first gets to her new place and her handler, Andrew Lewis, saves her just in time! Just in time to realize that there is a leak in the US Marshall’s office and her identity has been compromised. Now who can they trust to help them stay ahead of the assassins?

Oh wow!! I absolutely love this story. Hope Miller is in witness protection, after testifying against her brother's murderer. When she's attacked at her safe house, US marshal Andrew Lewis is her only chance of escaping. This book is intense, action packed, sitting on the edge of your seat, heart stopping suspense!! A roller coaster of a ride!! This author knows how to keep you guessing till the end, who the bad guys are. I couldn't put it down. A must read for sure.

Didnt enjoy it that much.Couldnt feel any chemistry between the couple. I couldnt understand how the bad guys found them so fast each and every time. Instead of the thrill of knowing what will happen next,it was more tiring to read. Dont know how to explain, but both didnt have any personality.I dont know what made them tick.
